I'm toying with having my character been raped once, but I'm unsure of the psychological consequences. It is not central to the plot, but I think it is plausible given the backstory.

At the end of the campaign, he said it was just a succubus fucking with him after all, like it was the greatest plot reveal ever.
More importantly, what are the psychological consequences of being raped, and how is it different from being stabbed, severely beaten or another traumatic event?

I suppose from a psychology view he could be accused of repressing the damage by burying it beneath a few hundred thousand nuyen of biotech upgrades, but as coping methods go it's not uncommon in Shadowrun.
