I liked it
splat splat splimp
>>98105493sorry I suck at thogs
>6 weeks and counting to describe some fairly simple second order effects from the previous strip's combat action >half a joke between the two comics, C+V'd from 20 years ago>one of the comics is in the old perspective and probably took an hour
>>98105706nice
>>98105493Worthless filler.
>>98105869perfect
>>98105706>nigga!!good thog>>98105493those squid creatures are weirdly well-informedI also think it was reasonably well-done, with a touch of finality befitting a final arcit was still wordy thoughRoy must be an expert at falling in slow motion by this point
>>98106154It's a little verbose but this is the sort of situation you treat with gravitas.
>>98106215>gravitasnahthose are gag charactersbeing serious and respectful about everything is the part I least enjoy in late-stage storiesthe structure was well done, but it still should have had a joke at the end
>>98105493I for one did not think this comic had enough WORDS. Take it back to the Wording board, each panel needs at least two or three paragraphs more to properly capture the Wordly wisdom of the floomph.
>>98106339It was a pun about falling
>>98105493How scandalous
Who the fuck are the two fiends and the orcI was a young man when this strip started now I have fucking dementia
>>98106635That's the linear guild remember? From strip #43? Not sure where the kobold is though...
>>98105869
I didn't even read this one upscale.
>>98106647Belkar killed him and wore his head as a hat
Ending leaked
>>98106703
The title makes it.
a question for other /tg/entlemen:should the purpose of a thog edit still be to convey the core essence of the dialogue or at least surrounding events, or should it simply be to create whatever abridged dialogue would be funniest?
>>98106635>Who the fuck are the two fiends and the orcNale, Sabine and Thog. Nale's a devil now.
>>98108278both are valid options desu
>>98108325No. You HAVE to pick one or the other.
>>98108334no I don'tvariety is the spice of life
>>98108344Yes you do, I'm Belkar-brained so I have to sort everyone into one of two categories. You can't be in both categories or my brain will melt.
>>98108355the two categories are people who fit into one of two categories and people who dont
>>98108358You have just been filed under Hate.
>>98108364That other category you have better not be lust...
>>98108464It doesn't matter, it just boils down to "friend or foe". You're either with me or against me, there's no grey area.
>>98108364I'm just glad someone other than me recognizes the raw sexual charisma that Mrs. Sluttersworth brings to the table
>>98108278First option is the first line of thogs, when the summary thogs are done then the next step is to make them say cum and farts. These are the two major foodgroups and will sustain us through the hard OOTSless season.
>>98107511lfmao
>>98105493God I hate this comic.
>>98106647>2004dear lord
>>98109025why enter the thread then?
>>98111460it's not like we're an adoration circleanon clearly has read the comic, and has some opinions he needs to sharewhat better thread than the oots one?and let's be real, most of us can empathize at least to some extent
>>98111460Why reply to him if you disagree?
>>98108278Nobody remembers reducing 89 to seven words. Bruce Wayne and the Simpsons doh remain Immortal.
You know I'm suprised Roy doesn't have a feather fall item like Belkar, you'd think after the first fall he'd get a little wise to the fact that long falls might become an issue for his entire adventuring career. I mean he's got an upgrade to his sword, the giants belt, and the bag of animals. Surely he could have some side grade items.
perhaps now would be an opportune time to remind everyone that thogonomicon is still very much aliveif you have thogs that the site doesn't list, feel free to post them and I'll add them
>>98112572What a retarded enterprise
>>98112575it's the heartfelt words of encouragement that keep me going
>>98106154talking is a free action
>>98112554I seem to vaguely recall a joke about getting a feather fall thing after coming back from the dead but maybe I'm making that up
>>98112572>issue 250>censoring "brown-noser"that is absolutely DIABOLICAL
>>98108278Either works. The important thing is minimizing the use of words without leaving entitely blank bubbles.
I knew what the "joke" would be the instant I saw those thingsFuck this lampshading bullshit>>98105869Well done
>>98113605hmmm, nyo
>>98112572have you added all the ones on 1d6chan?
>>98113919I don't frequent that vanity project, so nothe only source I use is 4chan images
>>98113680Lampshading the RPG rules of the world is not the same as lampshading narrative tropes of the webcomic itselfOOTS has been sliding slowly and then quickly to shit ever since they started doing that
