I use typhus corrosion, paint over it with mournfang brown and put a few coats of the above mixture over it, and then just drybrush it with any metallic. >>98108133Nut up and paint a Death Guard army, they're really cool and if you do a Death Lord's chosen list you won't have to paint TOO many dudes, since Terminators have a higher point cost. There's good methods out there to rapidly paint your regular infantry, and leave you more time to spend painting your characters and vehicles, and terminator units in Death Guard come in kind of the perfect number (3-7 models,) that'll keep you from burning out. Trying to assemblyline 20 Khorne Berserkers at once will drive you crazy. Lastly, something a lot of people won't tell you going into it, but when you play a super elite list like Knights, or Chaos Daemons, the little painting mistakes you make on them will annoy you more when you play on the tabletop. You're not going to care if one of your 12 Deathshroud Terminators has a leg you didn't do the highlights on well enough, but you will glare at your Chaos Knight's shoulderpads all game obsessing over how the trim looks too flat, or you did too much chipping effect with a sponge in one spot and didn't spread it out better. Your big models will drive you crazy standing there by themselves, but the mistakes on your infantry can just blend into the crowd.

Just checked the traitor guard kit out of curiosity and it's a lot better than I expected. The instructions are retarded like most new 40k kits where it only shows you two builds for every body but all the arms are flat joints and all the heads are ball joints so you can mix them however you want.
