I was going to get a Drew carry combat patrol but realize none of them are cheap enough to justify the cost when you can buy 5 wracks for like 22 bucks, a homoculus for 24 bucks and a talos/chronos for 39 bucks and magnetize it.

I don't know if this is actually good, but I notice that making a unit Righteous with the detachment rule improves their BS by one, then the Canoness's equipment lets them reroll a hit roll of 1, and then the Tryptic enhancement lets them ignore negative modifiers to the hit roll or BS. So if you really, really never ever want to miss with your multimelta, this is a funny setup. Rerollable 2+ with ignores all negative modifiers is the emperor guiding your shots.I wonder if I should do this with a Dominion or Retributor squad instead since they can take several heavy/special weapons to make more use of it, but the only downside there is the Righteous special rule only ups the BS of the battleline unit so that's what I'm using for it now (and the sacresants and paragons, but you can choose 3 and that's the other two I'm choosing).Finding goofy little overlapping rules or synergies like this is one of my favorite things about list building.https://www.newrecruit.eu/app/list/Eneks
