For my eventual /awg/ heartbreaker, what did you all like best about Warmachine & Hordes? MkI preferred, but I'm open.
Wish I were less bad at painting. At least it went together okay enough.
>>98134143Just give the whole thing a wash, I'd go for color matching washes on this one but you could probably get away with brown for everything except the blue and yellow bits, black wash for those.
>>98134059I reckon by the end of Q2. Source: my ass. Saw the sprue of their upcoming gladiators and some models painted by influencers, the kit looks really nice. I hope that it will also be released by the end of the quarter.
>>98134059Canada probably gets fucked having to stock WGA shit via the UK instead of the USA so maybe it's just not worth it for resellers.
>>98134143remove the mold lines next time
>>98134059They said they will release the other sets over the cause of the coming weeks, but who knows in which order.I guess it would make sense to release the ones not included in the big army box first, but who knows.

How would I convert Trench Crusade figures to One Page Rules?
>>98134210>>98134404Thanks!I want the heavy infantry. Might replace the heads with anvilindustry altyn helms if they have them in stl form.>>98134296>American company shipping stuff from brit land to Canada>despite being geographically closer to CanadaThere’s gotta be some kind of weird business thing to why this is so.
>>98134982whats wrong with the default helmets in the heavy infantry set?
>>98134982It's a tariffs thing, WGA set up dual production in the UK specifically to be safe from tariffs against American exports which was great for people in Europe who get to buy shit with no price increase and minimal shipping but shit for people in non-USA NA
>>98134059>wgaWhy do people keep spelling /awg/ wrong?
>>98134059Specifically in their email announcing the army box release they said it will be releasing one box every Friday.
>>98134828You don't, that's how mini agnostic games work, use whatever minis you want.
>>98135020Isn't there free trade between Canada and UK due to Commonwealth and all that?
>>98135055Free trade in the sense of no tax/tariff etc, but it's not literally free to export or ship stuff, lol. I know we get memed by seppos as being socialists but 'kin ell mate.
>>98135061Out of all people, it only has been canadians complaining about having to pay import taxes for their damned miniatures. Meanwhile, Sarissa even lied and wrote a low €-value on my box, so it was free of any import tax.
>>98135038I want to say you cannot be this retarded, but this is 4chan, so yeah, you can definitely be.
>>98135075>Tariffs are a non-issue if you engage in tax evasion No shit, Sherlock.
>>98135075In fairness they're like the only English country that doesn't have their own big miniature companies, I'm certain there's hobbyists in Brazil whining about import tax on Malifaux but we're not on the Portugese websites to see it.

>>98135020Thanks for clearing that up.Not that I enjoy being a raked leaf but at least I know why this inconvenient taking is happening.
>>98135390There are probably helmets for all the sprues; WGA almost always give you enough heads of every mask/helmet type, and usually just don't give you enough of every single type of bare head to make an army of clones.
Has anyone here tried the WGA cannon fodder? Do they mix well with for example 40k or StarGrave bits?
Not really feeling these Quar tanks tbqh
>>98135412They scale fine with 40k Traitor Guard and the bitz are somewhat interchangable with a bit of putty or clever gluing. The plastic is softer and the sculpts are less detailed but at less than 60p a bloke from a discounted retailer, they are absolutely blinding value. I bought both them and the female box and they're very characterful minis. They also come with the plasma gun and a Blade Runner pistol, along with knives, backpacks, ammo pouches and spare mags and loose guns. Shitloads of heads too, both helmeted, visor-helmeted, capped, and bare-headed/bald+shockcollared. I'm holding off building all mine till the Damned army gets here so I can mix and match a shitload of parts like I'm ten and playing with Orks for the first time again.
>>98135419I like them more the goofier they look, Arnyarans who are mostly using up-armored gypsy caravans are the best
>>98134675>No diceWhat alternatives are out there apart from drawing cards instead?
>>98135408Figured it might be like that. Thanks!
>>98134675>propriety diceI had this like you wouldn’t believe. It is also a turn off for ttrpgs because lost dice can mean having to buy the whole pack.So /awg/ has anybody here applied decal recreations of proprietary dice symbols and applied them to blank dice? What kind of decal paper is best for dice or is a varnish necessary? Will the decals and varnish weigh the dice down to the point where they roll like weighted dice?
>>98135482I jusr printed the symbols for regular paper and glued them to old d6 dice I had rescued from old board games we were throwing away.
>>98135496That works too.I was only thinking about decals in hopes that it makes the dice look more fancy and “professional.”
>>98135412The Stargrave stuff is a bit more short and stocky so it might look a bit weird up close.
>>98135075>a low €-value on my box, so it was free of any import taxWe used to have that too, now we're being nickle and dimed for every single piece no matter how small.
>>98134059Speaking of, is there any info on what size boxes they'll be selling? Will the basic dudes be in 24 model sets (4 sprues of 6 dudes) like other infantry boxes they sell? What about the heavy infantry? Are Command tied to HW teams like with Grogs?
>>98135422>>98135522Thx. I mainly had in mind to put some Stargrave alien heads on the bodies, not necessarily mixing up body parts.

>>98135594There’s also alien cannon fodder stls on WGA’s mini factory store I saw.Maybe they are still up.
Why did Duncan create the most generic fantasy miniatures in wargaming history?
>>98135653I’m not sure but the pug is pretty cool.Is there such a thing as deliberately doing generic right by chance?Any examples in model form?
>>98135637>women get twice the shotguns plus snipers and machine guns

>>98135675I didn’t see much difference in the arm sizes on sprues of the females so it should be okay.
>>98135673>the pug is pretty cool. It's fucking retarded, a pug isn't a threat to anything, using one as a warhound model is insultingly stupid.Guess he's going for that quirk chungus customer base.
>>98135653Generic is safe and appeals to the masses. His goal is to convert his (looks up) 390,000 subscribers into sales, so he has to do something people will buy based on Duncan's name, not on its own merits.
>>98135653because he wants the first wave to sell well. hes trying to create a skirmish game, you need people to be playing it in order to sell it. catch 22. sell generic up front gets it in peoples hands, then you can make the different warbands after. Said hes doing goblins next.

Bidding mechanics like the Dune board game are another option. There are physical mechanics like Little Wars spring loaded cannons. There's nothing wrong with dice. But a game using a different resolution mechanism means the designers thought about game mechanics a bit which is a green flag.

A little drill with sandpaper to buff out mold lines before you even start priming helps remove imperfections quickly.Blending is usually a factor of applying thin layers and washes. >>98135390>>98135408There actually are not enough of those for all 6 bodies. There is one with the visor closed, and one visor separate, to be glued onto another helmet. So with a set of 24 troopers, you can make 4 with closed helmets, and 4 with open visor. The head count on the heavy infantry is a bit different, compared to the other sprues, with more variety and less of the same repeats. You get:>3 demon face masks without helmet>3 demon face masks with helmet (visor doesn't fit i think)>4 "angry face" masks without helmet >1 "angry face" mask with helmet (can be used with the visor)>2 heads with plain helmet, no masks (visor can be added) one face has scars, the other does not>4 heads with gas masks and no helmet (its lower face half-masks, with the additional filter bit, but not the hood-type mask of the infantry sprues)>3 "stahlhelm" type helmets with same type of lower face gasmask (again, the visor might not work with those, due to the helmet shape)>1 head with the ballistic visor closedIts 21 heads for 6 bodies, but you can't make a full box wear 100% the same headgear, unlike with the other Infantry or Cavalry boxes, where this is possible (but also not for every type). But for example, the male infantry has less different helmets and heads to choose from, and the balaklava masks and the scarred face are just copy pasted onto the sprue with no variation, while there are zero repeats on the heavy sprue
>>98135412I believe the males are a bit taller/bigger than the females, but here is a picture with what i have on my desk right now:Left to right: Stargrave Female Merc - GW Blooded recast - female cannon fodder - female damned infantry - GW (new) cadian Sorry for the damned body being a bit lower, i did not notice it when i took the pic. They are all pretty much the same height, with the stargrave mini being like 2mm shorter. Its not an issue with the guns/arms tho.I think all of these work well together. However, the stargrave heads have a rather big and flat neck joint, where the WGA figures (both on this pic) have a more narrow neck opening. Especially the cannon fodder collar is too small for any stargrave (or GW) head, without cutting. Same is with GW heads and the Damned bodies. The heads have the right size, but the necks are too thick.Lastly my thoughts about the Cannon Fodder: I picked 4 sprues of the females with my Damned Pledge, because the female sprue came later than the male sprue(s), has better poses, and more weapon variety. However, the difference in sculpting between them and the damned sculpts is like day and night. You can see it on the picture a bit, but the details on the damned body are a lot better. I was really surprised how much i noticed that when i looked through those sprues.
>>98139934Damn, cannon fodder females are stacked. Every few months I feel an urge to buy a box and paint them as wearing gimp suits.

>>98139934Is there a noticeable difference in arm sizes for the male and female damned boxes?Hoping there isn’t for better weapon swapping because I think snipers were female sprue only. Also how do the anvilindustry heads look on the damned bodies? Looking to see if they’ll work proportionally by heroic scale standards.
>>98139255Kek. This. I got a "free" t-shirt from Exalted Funeral when I backed Old School Essentials but it at a slight defect at the left armpit. Now I'll get my shit from China and fuck that noise.
>>98140224My country made a deal with China. So now even that gets randomly taxed. It got so bad that imports from China are almost gone. I'm not sure if the CCP is happy with that deal.
>>98139651>Euro retardationI indulge in lockpocking as a hobby and they have a thing in US called Wood's metal alloy. It melts at a stupidly low point so you can cast with a lighter. There's no equivalent in EU and it's fucking hard to import because they don't give a shit. Germany has some kind of equivalent because autismo but it's like four times the price. Eurotards problem.Wondering what these Ukkies use for their miniatures recast though.
>>98140159I have no Anvil Industries physical items, so that i can't answer.>armsThey are smaller, but i dont think its very noticeable. But depending on your level of tism. it might bother you a great deal. If you have a printer, you can always just print some shoulder pads to bulk them out if needed.Male with sniper rifle (female arms)Female with male arm+shotgun and female left arm I tried that printed anvil head on both of them, looks ok on the male body, but comically oversized on the female, due to the smaller neck opening.

But thats a matter of taste i guess.
The guys from maelstrom's edge didn't answer my email about customs charges for parcels sent to continental Europe. It's like some people are allergic to money. But from my experience it's unpleasant to do business with Anglos. Not as bad as dealing with jeets though.
>>98140972Ive been looking at their stuff for a while too, but there must be a reason why not a single store in europe seems to stocks them. Besides, custom charges are not their doing, so they cant really answer your question there.. the parcel might slip through, or not. And those charges depend on your order value, and your local laws.
>>98140987Fair enough. You've got manufacturers like Khurasan who flat out say they do not ship to EU. Victrix says that they take care of the customs, and I believe mantic does it too. Spiral arms is a very small studio, so I can cut them some slack.
>>98139934Has anyone measured the Damned next to old Chaos Space Marines (before the new range)? I'm sort of tempted to make some cultists, but I don't want them to mog my boys with their height.
So after getting into Frostgrave and enjoying the game I have come across something that I would call a complaint.Everywhere you hear about the game it's touted as being cheap to play, and while this holds true for a SINGLE basic player vs. player introductory match, it does not hold true if you wish to play the game again and in the fashion it is meant to be played, as a continuing campaign. For that you need 75-100 miniatures for the bestiary and 15-25 miniatures for your warband as well as at least a milk crate full of terrain. For anyone not in possession of both an FDM and SLA printer, this can easily get into the range of $1000 or more.Yes it's mini agnostic, but if you're stuck with retail minis as your option that will get expensive fast even with the cheapest sellers. The only way to keep the game cheap (without printers) is to use books and cereal boxes as terrain and have a handful of monsters that you proxy as anything you role on the encounter table, because to do otherwise means you need in the range of 5 each of skeletons, zombies, ghouls, wolves, rats, imps, etc.. and at least 3 each of wraiths, bears, vampire, werewolves, etc... and 1 each for a giant, troll, worm, yeti, etc...So again, I do enjoy it, I am going to continue with it, I just wish ANY article, video or forum discussing it had been open and honest about the scale of miniature investment and the reality of cost, because what it takes to start playing is a long fucking way off of what it takes to repeatedly play.Oh and all this is assuming you stick to only the core rule book, no supplements, if you go with all the supplements your mini collection could easily get up to 300-500 miniatures for the bestiary.Additional additional, a variety of terrain for repeat gaming is going to at the very least be 3 milk crates full, so full investment in the tabletop can easily get up to $2000-$3000 all things considered (again assuming no printing)
>>98141156I dont have any marines in my collection sadly, but you can certainly find plenty of pics of older chaos marines next to cadians or other guardsmen, and the damned are pretty much exactly their height.
>>98141204Foam terrain is a lot cheaper than whatever you're spending a grand on. Dense foam blocks, some kind of carving tool, gray craft paint, and some PVA glue goes a long long way when you're making ruined fantasy city terrain.
>>98141204mdf terrain is quite affordable, and i dont think you really need>and 1 each for a giant, troll, worm, yeti, etc...> 5 each of skeletons, zombies, ghouls, wolves, rats, imps, etc.. Can't you just use for example 5 generic undead, and re-use them for all encounters when undeads are needed? Or one generic big monster? Sure, less immersive, but also cheaper.
>>98141248>Can't you just use for example 5 generic undead, and re-use them for all encounters when undeads are needed?Okay, now you've rolled over the course of a few turns a pair of skeletons, a ghoul, a vampire, and a trio of zombies. You have 5 skeletons to represent them, how do you keep track of which ones aren't skeletons and what do you reach for to represent the 3 undead you don't have miniatures for?Instead let's be honest with ourselves and accept that no one likes having to pretend a miniature is something other than what it appears to be, we all want to be immersed in our tabletop and not keeping mental tabs that X model represents Y statline that it doesn't look like.>>98141231Yes the terrain can be crafted cheap, but that's a time/money trade off, you do ultimately still need quite a bit if you don't want every match to become samey. Much like with an FPS vidya, playing on the same map over and over again becomes a solved equation, so does using the same piece of terrain over and over again, certainly you don't want to use any given piece just once, but you need enough that you can have 3 or so matches before being forced to reuse any given piece.Yes, you can cut any number of corners, but no one here wants to push pennies around a table covered in styrofoam packing material, stacks of books and empty pop cans. This game really is best suited to someone who has both an SLA and FDM printer because that way you can get a fully bespoke set of minis and terrain while sticking to a few hundred dollars over a few years. And I have to point out that my complaint is about how EVERY place you find mention of the game ONLY mentions the absolute bare minimum to merely start the game, no consideration for informing what choosing to stick with the game can reasonably mean.
>>98141204If you're playing a campaign then it shouldn't be on just one person to provide all the terrain and monsters, each person involved should prepare some.
>>98141316>no one likes having to pretend a miniature is something other than what it appears to beI 100% agree, and thats why i wrote that its less immersive, but if money is tight, proxying miniatures for something else is always a valid option. >but that's a time/money trade offLike everything in our hobby, isn't it? Some people love to craft terrain tho, and for them it is super enjoyable to cut hundreds of foam bricks. Not me desu.>This game really is best suited to someone who has both an SLA and FDM printerLike literally every Wargame, if you plan on playing it for a long time, while also having lots of terrain for yourself.>And I have to point out that my complaint is about how EVERY place you find mention of the game ONLY mentions the absolute bare minimum to merely start the gameThere are several reasons for this. Anon here >>98141337 by saying that a campaign group should team up and share the burden of either crafting the terrain, or buying it and share the cost. So if someone who paid 1/10th of your estimated 1000 says its not super expensive to get into Frostgrave, he might think about his share of the cost, but not the full price.Or, what is just as likely: People do not really play full campaigns, and they just play 1-2 games, and post about how cool it was to spend just a few bucks on a box of wizards and soldiers, while the terrain was either absent from the table, or they played in a club with a big collection of terrain, which would be option 3: Playing somewhere, or with someone, with a huge collection of terrain and miniatures already.
>>98141204I felt the same way when I started to seriously look into frostgrave. A table's worth of ruined buildings and assorted winter terrain plus all the monsters is a pretty big project.I did the same sort of analysis when looking at silver bayonet and it also has a few scenarios that are pretty demanding in terms of terrain
>>98141337That is a way to dilute the cost, but it's also a huge hit to your game whenever a gaming group member can't show up one night, or worse, moves somewhere else or decides to invest their time into a different game.If you're already an established D&D DM with the accompanying monstrous manual of creature minis, this game is easy to pick up, likewise (and again) if you have both sorts of printer (or even just a resin printer and a joy in crafting terrain).Neither of those change that there is a sort of dishonesty by omission in every mention of picking up the game that I can find, the focus is exclusively on selling you on the first match, no acknowledgment of what deciding to stick with the game will entail.
>>98141383I didn't do a spreadsheet myself, but that's a good idea, so far I've got my list as a combination of what's in my head and the file system of collected STL's.I did go and make a pdf that is just all the supplements bestiaries combined, and while there are some entries that are duplicated between books, that pdf is something like just shy of 200 pages long.
>>98141387I really would not call it dishonesty, because if you are totally new to miniature wargaming, chances are you are looking to find people to play with, and chances are, they have miniatures and terrain already.Starting compeltely from zero, while playing exclusively with people also starting completely from zero while also not sharing the cost for the shared terrain and npc monsters is a very rare exception i think. I dont know all the Frostgrave Scenarios, but a set like pic related can be bought for 35€. I assume you need some sort of a graveyard and maybe 1-2 other sets too. Thats 35€ for 4 people, and it should offer enough mdf terrain for the vast majority of scenarios. Add some homemade box or foam stuff, and you should be good to go.
>>98141435Maybe this complaint is largely because I picked up Frostgrave as a game for me to solo play, I already have a number of games I play with other people in both fantasy and scifi, Battletech, Blood Bowl, Gaslands and Necromunda being the tops of the list.Of those you'll note that only Necromunda requires 28mm terrain and even for Gaslands terrain is very optional (and not 28mm), while for Battletech it's incredibly unnecessary and for Blood Bowl it's not even a thing. So I do acknowledge my particular use-case is the hardest hitting for this complaint, all the terrain and miniatures need to be collected by myself and basically nothing I already have works for it, that it scratches a niche I don't already have covered was a big draw. But still it'd be nice if every single searchable source from the dozen or more articles, at least a couple dozen videos and all the various forum discussions, didn't exclusively focus on your first match and sell that as the game.
>>98141435id call the other anon totally dishonest. the cost is always split between players, unless you're spear heading it which is your fault anyway. >>98141387 . it's also a huge hit to your game whenever a gaming group member can't show up one night, or worse, moves somewhere else or decides to invest their time into a different game.then you aren't playing anyway yes, the safest option is to have every single piece of terrain and monster. unless you're playing solo its useless. play at a club, play with others. its a straight lieI play frostgrave. Only played 40k before so practically none of my stuff worked. it is not that expensive to collect pieces. make your own shit as well or buy pre painted gw terrain, you board gaming fuck
>>98141468The solo-aspect changes things a bit, but maybe see it from this side: If you ever want to try another 28mm fantasy game, you will have a huge collection of stuff already, allowing you to get into that other game very easily. Besides, if you are the only player.. do you really need everything at once? Its not like you need to consider someone else. You can distribute the cost for whatever miniatures and terrain between the months and spend like $50 every other month on terrain and monsters and collect everything over time. There is no rush in your unique situation, and no risk of someone dropping out.
>>98141507>do you really need everything at once? Not everything, but enough that not every single roll on the encounter table results in "fuck, I don't have that"I'm at 60 miniatures for the bestiary and 15 for the warband and with that I can run only a slight variation on the base encounter table.
>>98141532Have you looked at those big Archon Studios "mix" sets? You can buy 50+ miniatures of various types in one set, and depending on what monsters you actually need, you should be able to cover most.
>>98141418>>98141383It would be an interesting project, to create some kind of a budget shopping list, based on the scenario requirements for those campaign focused games.
>>98141569I'm in the ideal category for this game that I listed in that I have both an FDM and SLA printer, so my full table of terrain and the 75 miniatures cost me around $40, my complaint is more objective when ti comes to cost and mostly about the lack of transparency about what the game actually requires as every recommendation and discussion is focused on just the first match.Subjectively the cost will be quite low and as I enjoy both painting and printing there will be no hardship, both my Blood Bowl and Battletech collections number of 200 figures each so I'm no stranger to collecting a large number of miniatures.I like the game, I am making the investment for it, it's just that there was no mention of the scale of that ever, anywhere.
>>98141605the problem with making a list of any kind is just how much work are you willing to do? anon clearly doesnt want to do any. are you willing to get your terrain printed? make it? does it have to come pre painted? How much do you care about quality for minis? fuckin wiz kids can get you a box full of primed minis for 25 bucks. or terrain as well. if youre only concern is cost
>>98141616i think the second you step out of the base game. the skirmish wargame, the cost always goes up. especially in a scenario npc game.I love Star Quest, but you do need a horde of minis to fight with. any coop vs ai game needs it

>>98141670Best wargame on the market (Pro)Lefty playground (Con)
>>98141666I disagree that a 1v1 skirmish is the base game, I hold firm that that is merely an introductory match, the core book is quite clear that ongoing campaign is the focus. It could very well be that the majority of youtube videos about it are focused on that because that's all they really did with it, dipped a toe into the game to get on the algorithm and then moved on, so far it does seem to be that everyone I found in search talking about the game (video or article) has a living that revolves around briefly sampling many games in a review capacity and then forever moving on. One guy was even doing it the back storage room of his gaming store (I hope) as the shelves around him were stuffed right full of dozens of games and he prefaced his talk by stating he was digging around in his stuff and found his collection (all of which was pristine books with no spine damage indicating they were frequently used) though he could have just been a hoarder too.
>>98141713The game is designed for people who already have minis. From the start, the idea was to use minis that you had already gotten for games like D&D, substituting gnolls for orcs or whatever you already had. The perfect customer for Frostgrave is a DM who already makes terrain and has miniatures for the encounters he runs in D&D.

This isn't really the best thread for this I guess but there's no design thread up right now, do you guys think 1d20 or 3d6 is better for a skirmish wargame if a main mechanic is like, rolling multiple dice and keeping the highest or the lowest? For example on 3d6 you might end up rolling 5d6 and keeping 3 of them, or on d20 you might roll 3d20 and keep one.I actually don't really like the bell curve on 3d6 for this type of game, I feel like it works better for an RPG and I like the randomness of 1d20 more, but I really dislike how big the shift is from 1d20 to 2d20 keep highest in terms of how probable higher results are and so on whereas with 3d6 it's a lot smoother of a shift as you add dice. I am like so torn about this but I have to make a decision and just commit to it at this point, I can't keep going back and forth. Do you guys have any opinions?
>>98141670Unironically one of the best games going at the minute. Plenty of groundwork for narrative play, there's practically zero ability for alpha striking because of the random draw activation. WMH was basically the perfect "large skirmish" size. you can nitpick the game rules themselves, but it was always interesting and you could consistently jam a game in an hour without needing to resort to a time control to do it.WMHs arc is basically what "game gets killed by bloat" looks like. It stayed good, mostly, for a long time, well into Mk2. but it just kept getting more and mroe unwieldy. the number of models you needed kept growing, the size of the models kept getting bigger, and devs were seeing dollar signs so they just kept adding more and more shit until it was impossible for anybody to remember what all the models did. especially when there were a dozen variations of the almost-the-same model doing slightly different things.a lot of anons will blame Mk3 for killing WMH, but the truth is that's like pointing to an atomic explosion as the "problem" when the core had been sitting there at critical mass well before that.

>>98144814Again, I never used that term mr.strawman.But on that topic Arian, Irmin and Armin ARE European words and the jeet use of aryan itself stems from ancient Europeans who conquered and ruled over them, that simply made the mistake of outbreeding into their population later.

>>98145040It is still a strange situation and it really makes the entire racist nazis discourse sound like something it was made up later.
>>98145016Racism as we know it today, was simply defined differently back then. You can be sure that your average german citizen would not have allowed his daughter to marry a french colonial soldier in the 20s or 30s, when the french occupied parts of the german territory. But this opinion towards africans was pretty normal throughout the whole of europe back then. There are reports of mixed children being bullied in german schools too, and all 50 of them probably were not really the most popular kids among their mates, but even they were drafted eventually. But there simply was no political agenda against blacks (or indians), because there were so little of them. I think its obvious, with a black population like in the US, the NSDAP would have found a "solution" for them as well, but as it was, there was no need for that. Part of this is thanks to the allies who took away all the african colonies Germany had after WW1.>>98145040A bit more complicated than that, because of the german minorities in other (conquered) countries, but kinda true. In addition to that, Himmler wanted more influence, Wehrmacht could access the recruitment pool first (this changed in the late war btw), and there were lots of volunteers in rather uncoordinated units all over the occupied territories, so they made all of them into SS soldiers.
>>98145038>Again, I never used that termI never said you did, mr.retard, I'm asking you how swastika is a jewish conspiracy, but "aryan" isn't, when both derive from the same source?>Arian, Irmin and Armin ARE European wordsAnd none of them have anything to do with "aryan".
>>98144832>>98144896>>98144947>>98145016>>98145040Yes, it is understood that mistakes were made during the third reich. But mistakes are made to be learned from, next time we understand that it doesn't matter what your goals are or how you proceed toward hem, that if it ends in failure a century will be spent making absurd accusations of total racial genocide and seeking complete world domination, so to hell with being nice.
>>98145047iirc xenos rampant
>>98144226>>98144288Always good to have a bunch of different options. Thanks. An Egyptian skeleton army also makes for a great excuse to get maxminis Egyptian elf line of minis
>>98145060>And none of them have anything to do with "aryan".Yes they do, they are variations on the same deity name just like Wotan, Woden, Othinn, Odin and (more arguably) Hermes are.
>>98145063All I recall from that game was that mechanically there was little reason to have something else beside elite infantry.
What is going on with KoW? Are they re-releasing all their stuff for the new edition? I've seening lots of sales for Mantic minis, some even -50%, and i'm wondering if thats just to get rid of old boxes, or is Mantic struggling?
>>98145059>I think its obvious, with a black population like in the US, the NSDAP would have found a "solution" for them as well, but as it was, there was no need for thatTrue, they'd have their hands full mass murdering local neighbours before they'd ever need to worry about what they believed were lesser races who lived in far off Not Europe. The Nazis were explicitly racist towards America for having a high black population, but Germany didn't have a system of slave importation that made 10% of its population black.
>>98145109I am also a bit worried. They are my go to.
>>98145075It's not a competitive game. But you are correct, elite infantry wipe the floor with everything else in Xenos rampant.
>>98145109Good old tradition of every wargame company.Shoot themself. The question is are they going to shoot their feet like GW or the stomach like PP
>>98145375Its an issue I have with games in general. I love for example give a name to all my models and usually make up scenarios for each game. But when something mechanically sticks out it annoys me to no end since now I have to worry about players abusing it
>>98145109New edition of Kings of War launched a few months ago, so they're probably trying to clear old stock to push the new chinese dogmen army.
>>98145351I'm not worried per se, but seeing prices like pic related, it got me wondering. If they might be rip in a year, it could be a now or never situation for some decent miniatures. >>98145550Probably, it seems to be mostly old stuff being sold, but some of the new kits also.
>>98145648They also increased their support for homeprinting. Which might be good or bad, depending on your position.
