>titans supposedly the biggest badest thing of 40k>A single voidship lance has a bore that can fit a titan.
>>98136266What are you asking? Titans are the biggest thing that can be described as a "unit" and not a single-use wonder weapon. Voidships in 40k are their own discussion entirely, such as how the biggest things in it are, in orderWorld Engine > Blackstone Fortress > Phalanx > Ark Mechanicus > Gloriana Class Battleships > (I won't bother listing it out because it follows the traditional Battleship/Cruiser/Destroyer type beat.)
How many boards are you going to make this thread on?
>>98136266How many things to you know that can survive a direct hit from naval artillery?
>>98136447Submarine pens, but that's about it. Those things are hideously defensible, to the point most don't consider anything short of a direct nuclear impact could take one out.
>>98136266Post your voidship models.
>>98136429Playing naval vidya put things into perspective for me, as arcadey as they were. Trying to look unimportant as a little destroyer with 4 3" guns that are basically "keep your distance" signs for anything larger, yet give me that same battery as support in a land game and I'm as happy as the proverbial pig. I knew it intellectually but to actually experience it was more visceral. Naval weaponry is a very different ball game.
>>98136266Warhammer in general ignores how valuable air superiority would actually be. >bu-but airplanes exist in the loreand they're never mentioned in most stories except the ones the space marines use like the thunderhawk of course.
>>98141111They've been trying to make up for it, the latest Tau campaign heavily featured the fight for air superiority.
what a pathetic ship, the deathstar can easily 1v1 every single dumbass ship design from chudhammer 40k
>>98141207Which is incredibly silly since the Tau are the most militarily backwards race in 40k and don't even have real FTL
