I just got hit with three Long River's Pulls, and all of them were used to counter non-creature spells, and only the first gave me a card to draw. On the next two, the text "Gift a card" was like, greyed out or opaque, but he used it to counter Sorceries. I had a Torpor Orb in play, but that shouldn't affect it, right?
