Unrelated to OP but how do people pick anything?Like you could add a bunch of different fantasy races to your world or not. You could run a campaign of X and Y theme or scope or you could not. I can't decide on anything, every world I try to make (for TTRPG campaigns) feels flat, even when I try to build specifically for mechanics. Even practical worldbuilding, like for dungeons. I feel cursed.
