Why there isn't a single RPG that captures the FREE SPIRIT of metal? Is RPG a sanitized medium?
That's what most RPGs were for at least the first few decades of their existence
>>98173587a sanitized medium?
>>98173572Selling out and getting sanitized is an integral part of metal.
>>98173594nah megadeth still rocksstill no metal rpg mentioned
>>98173614D&D 5E
>>98173572Supposedly mork borg but I haven't had enough experience with it say how metal it is.Palladium games Splicers smacks of Iron Maiden and Nightbane of Megadeth, imo. Rifts itself is such a kitchen sink its varies by the class with technological fighting classes going from hair metal to dad butt rock while mage classes usually the subversive Christian metal like DIO.Im afraid thats all I can say in terms of metal synthesized into rpgs, save that gurps is not metal. Gurps is listening to videogame soundtracks and 2x speed.
I don't know if it's any good, but Viking Death Squad is certainly metal, as it says it's inspired by Black Sabbath and the setting reads like something that Metalocalypse would poke fun at. It's only like 130 pages so it shouldn't take long to find it in the share thread, download it, read it and determine for yourself if it's what you're looking for.
what would you even do in a metal rpg?roll the dice to determine what power chord you play next?
>>98173788drinking blood, blowing up the government and hot babes

>>98173808Blood is taste, the government is our le fren for le once, and f*emoids are a jewish trap, I'm peter thiel
>>98173848Yes, eeeh, and gender wars are actually the Jewish trap because they stop you from breeding.
>>98173808so play Mork Borgor Macho Women With Guns
>>98173808Why would you blow up hot babes?
>>98173572Basic Fantasy
>>98174733Oxford comma stbads triumphant once more.
>why is D&D the only game that exists and could ever exist?solid post OP, your opinions on rpgs are deep and validhttps://criticalhitparader.substack.com/p/music-ttrpgs-and-black-sabbaths-gollum
>>98173572>Metalâ„¢>not a sanitized medium lmao You're also ignorant as fuck about the various metal inspired ttrpgs. Post something of worth and I'll list them.
>>98173677>Supposedly mork borg but I haven't had enough experience with it say how metal it is.Mork Borg hides behind the idea that a specific subgenre of swedish doom metal is their inspiration, which they are also mocking, but also paying loving homage to, with an artstyle and modern zine culture aesthetic which isn't actually anything like the style of that niche subgenre.
>>98173572>>98173808You fuckers need to play a good Black Crusade campaign
>>98173677>GURPS isn't metal>he hasn't read GURPS: Metal
>>98173572There is.https://lunarshadow.net/2019/09/02/review-hell-4-leather/
>>98173677>mork borgas a swede lmao nothose fags are the very opposite of free spirited
>>98173808You can do that in basically any TTRPG. That's generic enough that it's a theme, not worthy of dedicated mechanics.
>>98173848>the government is our friendIf you think this, you're a drooling retard. The government is always and forever your enemy.>MUH JOOSFunny thing, the culture war is actually something epstein and his friends made happen, so by participating in it you're literally a jewish pawn.
We had our own homegrown Hail and Kill about a decade ago
>>98178770>the culture war is actually something epstein and his friends made happenIt's something they made happen by trying to control the media and the political system. If you believe Epstein had a direct hand in guiding /pol/, you're a gullible retard who believes whatever tumblr trannies make up while gossiping with each other.
Age of Sigmar unit lore generally reads like power metal lyrics, so Soulbound might work for you. Your mighty storm warriors of the storm can fight the blood killers of the blood god in the eternal fire lands at least. You were chosen by the gods to fight the god of death.
What's the late 60's psychedelic acid rock of RPGsWhat's the early 70's hard blues rock of RPGs
>>98174733He's being cheeky with his euphemism, he's talking about knocking them up aka "blowing them up"Don't know why he wants to knock up Pete Hegseth though, or how
>>98180359You jest, but if anyone actually has examples that are an excellent fit of either of those, I'd like to know.
>>98173591a barrel roll?
>>98180737Chronologically since those kinda gave way to early metal, probably chainmail or an earlier war game but that's not a cool enough answer
>>98180042they literally talk about peter thiel having sex with moot in the epstein mails the exact day before /pol/ was first madeyou're a creation of epstein nigga accept itevery thought in your chuddy little head was handcrafted by him and injected in moot's asshole by peter thiel
>>98180042You probably have no problem with believing Maxwell had influence over reddit, but epstein physically meeting moot, talking about how easy to manipulate 4chan would be, and being friends with Thiel and Steve Bannon whi align well with rapeape, none of that raises alarms to you
>>98180359>What's the late 60's psychedelic acid rock of RPGsSenZar and Noumenon>What's the early 70's hard blues rock of RPGsSome OSR stuff maybe or perhaps some of the OG World of Darkness if ran with a certain vibe? Honestly not exactly sure what kind of vibe do you mean, could you give me some bands/songs as an example?
>>98183410I said it as a joke but>Honestly not exactly sure what kind of vibe do you mean, could you give me some bands/songs as an example?Acid rock, probably Hendrix or https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EDoWtqIGUjYAs for hard blues, early black sabbath albums like paranoid since they considered themselves a blues band early on
>>98183549>Acid rock, probably Hendrix or https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EDoWtqIGUjYI stand by SenZar>As for hard blues, early black sabbath albums like paranoid since they considered themselves a blues band early onNothing in particular comes to my mind, but WHFRPG 1st ed and Fallout PnP (the old one) feel fitting for reasons I can't explain
>>98183549>>98183691Oh, also Mutant Chronicles, both for that era of Sabbath and for metal in general
>>98183373>You probably have no problem with believing Maxwell had influence over redditBecause she was a powermod on all of the biggest news, science, and politics subreddits and actively used the site every single day until the week she was arrested.>but epstein physically meeting moot, talking about how easy to manipulate 4chan would be, and being friends with Thiel and Steve Bannon whi align well with rapeape, none of that raises alarms to youShow me the emails where all of these people colluded on deciding and pushing the exact beliefs and ideology of /pol/ and then explain why the same cabal of kiddy diddlers spent the next decade and more trying to fight /pol/s culture war influence and attempting to subvert the entire board, which they somehow created, controlled, and guided nonstop for years, while not communicating about it at all in any of the other emails.
>>98183811What do you think Peter Thiel's and Steve Bannon's politics areWe know they shared 4chan threads and and screenshots for years, they were here. Maxwell's reddit account was already known before the files but you wouldn't know epsteins 4chan connections without them
>>98183823The assertion is that /pol/'s entire ideology was handcrafted by Epstein, a pedo jew with ties to other pedo jews, who used his pedo jew connections to get away with his crimes for years, and now also Banon, a failed journalist faggot who spent years trying to collude with other failed journos to protect and rehab Epstein's image, and Peter Thiel, a technocrat retard who thinks Mordor was the good guys in LotR. Somehow, that group, without any direct communication with the guy whose millions of emails we have, controlled /pol/ this entire time, despite /pol/ being in direct opposition to everything they were doing. Also moot, the guy who could not keep it a secret that he was a huge cuck and kicked off gamergate by accident by trying to cover up the fact that he was trying to cozy up to gawker media subhumans, pulled this off for years, despite his overtly hands-off treatment of 4chan, and total lack of communication or interaction with Epstein, Banon, or Thiel in the years following his infamous singular meeting with Epstein.

>>98173572Against the Dark Master is the most Blind Guardian thing since Nightfall in Middle-Earth.
>>98173572Metal always struck me as a highly codified form of music, I wouldn't associate it with free spirit.
>>98183856Your first mistake is thinking that a right wing jew doesn't fine other right wingers useful. Right wingers with more white nationalist sympathies still aligned with Trump, even after he proved to be a useful tool for israel in his first term. That didn't stop them, a lot of them also post here. That also didn't stop israel from aligning with states like apartheid south Africa or rhodesia. Things overlap.Bannon openly bragged about how he could use disaffected young gamers for his political cause, and he also had direct ties to the white house, dismissing him is absurd.Peter Thiel is a great example of all of this, being from a neonazi town in nambia and still being a tool for israel, he was also the first billionaire to directly promote trump 11 years ago I do find it hilarious that once it involves guys who lean more towards your side, you demand nuance>trying to cover up the fact that he was trying to cozy up to gawker mediaFunny you bring up gawker, that site was directly shut down by peter thiel himself as revenge for them exposing him as a homosexual. He had a vendetta and that's why he funded the hulk Hogan lawsuitAbsolutely no one is saying moot is a genius at all, by the way. Quite the opposite There was also plans of a second planned meeting in the files, all about manipulating online media and search results, and moot was planned to attend. We just don't know if it went through
>>98183887>UVGBingo, great choice
>>98183887>>98184054Is this one actually a worthwhile game or is it one of those RPGs that are basically gloryfied artbooks?
