Gimme ideas for an interesting fantasy ocean. Weird, unusual concepts that would make for an interesting environment to explore and a beautiful world to imagine.

I've considered "ocean covered with a thick, solid carpet of moss you can walk on and with mushrooms and such" and "ocean that's like a relaxing bath - warm, soapy, pleasantly carbonated, little pumice boulders floating on the surface", but they don't feel interesting enough as concepts
