Same as title.
Are there any good ttrpgs, boardgames, or war games similar to redwall?
>>
>>98201074
Never played it, but Mouseguard is almost a one-one rendition of Redwall. I have played Ironclaw, which is more furry, but an exceptional rpg, just limit the taller races like horses, lions, and wolves. Combat is rather quick and lethal, if I wanted to be Lord Brocktree I'd do it in Ironclaw.

The less obvious option is A Song of Ice and Fire, you'll have to homebrew the races yourselves, but the game handles everything the Redwall books would do, from mass combat and sieges, to diplomacy.

Mausguard is a well known one. Mausritter is another.

I'm running a Mausritter game for some newbs right now, it's redwallish, but there is also more magic and shit. It would be very easy to run it more Redwallish.

There's an RPG book for that board game Root. I haven't had the chance to play it, but I did find it interesting that the game has a specific rule where only one player is allowed to play each class/role at any given time and I don't think I've ever seen that in a class-based game before. The game also has a reputation system and you're supposed to start off as a band of nobody mercenaries, and that may not jell with what people want with a Redwall game, but I imagine that it can be tweaked a little so that it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

>It started life as an unofficial Redwall RPG and still maintains a lot of that identity while being legally distinct
>Dicepool system thats built around intentionally lowering your amount of dice for bigger bonuses
>Chargen is all about number fuckery, depending on what you choose determines what skills and attributes level at what rate
>There's a sanity system exclusively for Villains which tracks their descent into madness and obsession with the players as they progressively fuck with him
>food rules
>you can basically talk to anything with beastlore, even small insects if youre good enough
>domain and other management rules for freaks
>focus on travelling the world finding new locations and progressively filling out a blank map
>animal sized animals, so small characters big world kinda shin dig (basically like Redwall and Mossflower before Jaqcues basically gave up on that idea)

That's a fucking rad idea, color me interested.

You gonna do a hard copy?
>>
>>98203014
That sounds pretty cool

You wouldn't have a pdf file by any chance?

Nta but he already posted it. It's pwyw.

Ironclaw works fine for Redfall if you want a TTRPG. You can even do some of the larger animals that crop as monsters if you like, where you just make 'Snake' or 'Owl' their big dice instead of their profession or whatever.

A few months back I had pre-release copies and sold a few to a bunch of locals because they were fond of the game. Gave them all a personal letter too with a wax steal of my business.

I do intend to do some physical prints, just gotta get my name a little bit out there first.
