Strixhaven pr was apparently a bit of a shit show because they skewed the boxes to have higher rates of the color pairs of each school or something, and some pairs were just objectively better than ever so you kind of get randomly assigned whether you're gonna win or lose based on your box

I got a bunch of duplicate shit commons, and almost all of my Lorehold-specific cards cared about cards leaving the graveyard when I only opened 4 cards that let cards leave my graveyard. I ended up running a jeskai spell shitpile with pic related and two Zaffai and got curb stomped by every deck I went up against.

Made an enchantress deck with lots of ways to make token creatures and draw through bricks like instants and sorceries. Sad fact of the game is it has been warped so everything has to have value and pay off, and if you're not playing into that you're falling behind. Gone are the days when mediocre cards had drawbacks and that was still the best thing you could play
