I realize the game is very tied to the post-WWIII, destroyed-world pseudo-apocalypse, but I was wondering how easy it is to port to a unique setting that mostly involves exploring and documenting an unknown, anomalous territory.
>>98222631you would have to come up "unknown, anomalous" rules yourself, since, as you said, T2000 is basically the Fulda Gap 1980s WW3 (its technically not post WW3, since its was never declared over). If you are going for weapons autism in your notSTALKER game, its fine, but perhaps GURPS or Delta Green would provide a suitable total package.
>>98223100to add to this, T2000 char gen might get in your way. T2000 is a completely mundane game, so in char gen you are creating someone that simply is a service member in the armed forces. That may or may not be appropriate for what you are going for.
