well anon, lets hear your million dollar tapletop game idea...

I actually have one

Not DND, but actually DND

I don't see the point of a million dollar game idea. The house rules and homebrew systems I develop are always intended principally for the enjoyment of the people I play with. Changing them to appeal to the mass market would necessarily involve compromising some of what my group enjoys, and so would result in the project being less interesting to me.

Basically a kerfus (pic) style robot ran by AI that simulates a player in RPGs so I can forever GM a bunch of robots that play whatever game I want, bring me food and drink when requested, and have one of them Chinese dick milking attachments so one can scoot under the table and drain my balls if need be.

The biggest problem with sexbots is trying to make them humanoid when it absolutely is not needed, wanted, or practical. But, yeah, many player replacement because I loathe them.

Meant mainly instead of many.

You know you can fuck your vacuum cleaner right now and it's completely legal too btw.

The hobby shouldn't have money in it.

40k, but rehire Rick Priestley and Andy Chambers and whoever else they want on their team and give them full creative control with no executive jew meddling.

Infinity gorillion dollars.

OSR game where the treasure is monster friendship and all the monsters can do 1 spell and they say the spell’s name out loud like it’s digimon.

Western Fantasy Wuxia

This doesn't make any sense. It's like saying Italian Western shot in Spain. Nobody would produce something like that.

You mean, like spaguetti westerns?
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaghetti_Western
>Most spaghetti Westerns filmed between 1964 and 1978 were made on low budgets, and shot at Cinecittà Studios and various locations around southern Italy and Spain.

I meant more DnD with actually interesting martials but this is fine too
>>

Andy I could see, but have you seen a recent interview with Priestly? He's gotten old, and not in a good way.
>>

Congratulations on identifying the joke.

An OSR game that is floating islands in a void that is basically a combo of Traveller and B/X D&D but with airships and dungeon crawling.

1) Buying all rights to Ubiquity and Hollow Earth Expedtion
2) Re-arrange how the books for HEX are handling material and also shift the focus of the game itself toward pulp adventure, making the "default" setting an expansion, for fucks sake
3) Fix all the issues HEX has and streamlining its obtuse elements using my homebrew fixes, put it into semi-open trials to see how it works
4) Re-launch the game with a proper marketing campaign

Alternatively: get in touch with the two Italians behind Broken Compass/Outgunned and talk them into changing few subrules of Outgunned, then focus on marketing it.

The potential million dollar game already exists. And it could, with just minimal effort, work out perfectly fine historically. The problem is that the first attempt was completely botched by the moron behind it (brilliant game designer, absolutely idiotic in every other front) and the second attempt was a fucking test run for a different game.

Why is there a nigger on the cover?
>>

Buying the rights to reprint Dragon Magazine and selling them to people so they get physical high-quality copies of old editions in the mail monthly. I'm sure with how big OSR is currently more than enough people would be interested to justify the print costs and you could replace old ads in it with newer OSR products for additional cashflow.

Dead genre, port it to phones and add a collective 3D visualizer of some kind. I'm thinking it functions like one of those magnetic dust boards or the tactile peg boards you had as a kid.

I can't think of another way to sell imaginary testosterone to poor kids with bad parents, which is the function of this social tech.
>>
>>98239231
A computerized micro-peg board or magnetic dust assembler would be dope. Come to think of it, why doesn't everyone have one of these already? It's gotta be a precision/error issue of some kind, the idea is too obvious.

An anime sports RPG that has one primary book and splat books that go into specifics of a given sport as well as providing stories and characters. The primary thing would be to franchise it and it into various forms of media and even go as far as having a fantasy football style set-up.

I'd probably go as far as going the Baki route but have actual celebrity athletes who are part of the game's canon.
>>
>>98236341
Something actually realistic for a fucking change. Magic? Yes. Absurd strength? Fine. But realism to a large degree:
>Carrying capacity that makes sense
>Things need to be ready for you to use
>Damage taken effects damage output
>>
>>98239262
Just use physics as the rule set and you're good to go.
>Anything a player can justify using a physics calculation that the GM cannot refute through a contrary calculation or a specific, non-trivial criticism against completeness is permissible.
There's your realism rule.

>realism
If anything, this is one of the biggest marketing poisons possible. Any game citing "realism" is actively alienating people, because either they get wrong assumptions if they are new, or they get the perfectly fine assumptions if they aren't - and in both cases, steer the fuck away from the pile of shit in front of them
