This also hinges heavily on how much of the skeleton is actually exposed as most liches still wear clothing of some type. And anyone who's actually studied enough biology to confidently judge this would know that we usually have to put "assumed" in front of a skeleton's sex, not because of some agenda but because there's just a lot of men with feminine traits and women with masculine traits that make it difficult to be 100% sure unless you're looking at a fully articulated skeleton you can examine closely.
