Been replaying the series. I did sect camp this time, then when you get to g2 they suddenly refer to swamp magic as psionics; is this a retcon, translation issue, or just another way notr is shit? Anyway OP is right, and overburdening a system with attack skill groups just disincentivises experimentation and variety, these are the teachings of Baal Anon, our master.
