Inb4 "My homebrew world"
My homebrew world desu
>>98273328Dark Sun has a special place in my heart since its the setting I'm currently playing in and also my first. I'm currently on book 4 of the Prism Pentad.I enjoy Eberron simply for all the character building options. I played in an Eberron campaign, but had to leave due to scheduling.
>>98273328My Homebrew. Especially since any of the official setting are mostly likely made super gay by WOTC if they even touch them.
>>98273328Extremely based Wilderlands fan. There are dozens of us, dozens!
>>98273328Nentir Vale/Points of Light
>>98273328The homebrew I co-created between 2009 and 2012.Still using it to this day whenever I'm running fantasy games.
>>98275921Two dozens?
despite its flaws, old FR is still my favorite published setting
>>98273328>>98273334Honestly, I have trouble understanding why anyone would ever have any other answer. Imagination and creativity are a huge part of what makes these games engaging, so why would you ever feel greater love for a corporate-approved, mass-market product over the world you’ve built with your friends?
>>98273328Dark Sun
>>98280539I can see a reason being that getting invested in another's world can be interesting. DnD does make content beyond the setting books for their worlds. Getting into all the thought out lore and history can be a hobby on its own. Also it's a boring answer to say my own world. At least without describing it.>>98282652Nice, I've been enjoying my campaign in Dark Sun.
>>98280478To be honest with you, I think the central part of Faerun is the best part. The Dalelands are the perfect generic fantasy starting point from which you can branch out into places with more character like Anauroch, Cormyr, and Sembia. The Moonsea is a nice node to explore other stuff, then you start crossing the Sea of Fallen Stars which opens up Mulhorand, Thay, etc. This expansion as parties level up is way more natural and subjectively interesting than the Remembered Realms of the Sword Coast
>>98273328The other AD&D 2e Ravenloft modules are pretty hit or miss, but if the rest of Ravenloft was this good. 10/10, I prefer this over original 1e Ravenloft with Strahd.
>>982733282e and 3e Ravenloft
As much of a mess as Forgotten Realms is, I do love the Underdark bits.
>>98278512I thought I was alone
>>98274408I don't think wotc are ever going to touch !notAsia from Orientals Adventures if you'd like to look at that.
>>98273328My dm has a homebrew setting that we all absolutely love. Mods pls don’t be faggots about this, this is the actual name of the fictional setting we play in for our fictional fantasy games. He calls it:N I G G E R G R A V E
>>98287798Sounds nice
>>98273328Darksun or Eberron
