I'm working on a system/setting and I want to test it out on new people to get some fresh perspective on it outside of my usual TTRPG group, where do you even go looking for new players? Namely anyone willing to try homebrew instead of an established system or setting. Any decent sites or forums to advertise?
Post in the game finder threads when they pop up, if you're desperate, you can also post on plebbit's and roll20's lfg boards. You could also try local, game stores might be smelly but they also have people who play games.
>>98278185I found a new group by posting on my town's local reddit board. I didnt even up sticking with them though because half of them were teens and I'm 38. Just didnt fit.
>>98278185Seek out groups yourself. Outfit a van as a mobile games room then drive to local stores and invite people inside it to play.
>>98278185Facebook groups in your area. Libraries sometimes do ttrpgs and boardgame nights, check those. FLGS. Going to the copy shop and printing off game material tends to bring up a bit of conversation about it if you get the right worker at the copy shop.
