Nusr homebrew, magic user reformed witch and fighting man with oaths to the church team. >isolated village in the middle of a haunted forest >barrow of ancient things opening up, investigate to stop monsters from coming out >party returning to tomb, exploring old ground, gets some loot, get to use the second level map>fights magic eating su-monster in chain link tapestry staircase room, all spells used, wounded, spell catastrophe turns witch's face into skull visage after recently being returned to young and beautiful state >press on, encounter two tribes of intelligent spiders at war over dietary ideology, get minor magic helmet from a fight with brute spiders that covers skull visage mostly >learn about deeper levels of the tomb, undead elf noble shittalking other undead noble in a different part of the tomb, players trick him into revealing a lot of information by saying other guy had told them lore that was actually common knowledge to edge on on-ups-manship>find partial map of dungeon level with several leads to where loot might be, ominous notes about fungal incursion from the veins of the earth >Open locked gate to the sulphurous sea, get spooked by dark caverns and retreat to the surface >the sun is in revolt from previous spell catastrophe, 24 hours of noon day sun, travelling at night only >monsters from the surrounding woods are encroaching past the dolmen barriers, roll spore rather than encounter>giant parasite wasps emerging from a villager they know, deliver mercy unto him >village is in bad shape, crop failure, unrest >players have to figure out if they're going back to the tomb or into the thicket Hadn't run a more traditional ye olden setting in a while, felt good. Going to be hopefully weekly for a few months. How about you OP?

I fucked up. My character acted our of character. A small (or rather: titanic) slip of my inner murderhobo that is usually locked firmly away caused the group dynamics to shatter after a single cast of a level 4 fireball...

>>98280593My custom space marine chapter successfully ended off an unholy combination of chaos marines and orks. We let the local IG regiment get a few kills in so they could feel useful. OPR horde mode is pretty fun.
