After some thought, I've updated the CYOA to remove ambiguities from Power. My line of thinking was that you are as effective as a platoon of elite, power armoured crack troops but that wasn't clear from the writing, and some anons thought I was referring to regular troops, against which you are equivalent to a large regiment. This is assuming an open field battle without any external support, advantageous use of terrain, stealth, tactics, etc. A clever mutant could punch above his weight.There's also the vagueness with age, which I've clarified. This was always the case but hinting at it was counterproductive desu. Power does not have a longer life than Comfort, they're just able to survive longer in gutter conditions, whereas Comfort doesn't need to worry about that and has consistent access to the best healthcare humanity can provide.I didn't want to make eight posts for a two choice CYOA of all things, so I made a rentry responding to anons and the reasoning behind their choices. It's really simple both options can pursue the benefits of the other but will never quite reach the level of the other. Power can acquire significant luxury but is always an outcast, and comfort can spend a fortune on improving their combat abilities but will still fundamentally be a snobby rich kid with toys, not a true operator. As far as pursuing immortality they are about equal IMO, power has a better base to start, but comfort has better access to the resources that could make it happen.I like that the setting is obviously based on WH40K but not actually WH40K as simply existing in that setting creates a TON of unpleasant implications. Being a mutant on a dystopian lost hive world or something is fun, getting eaten by tyranids or the warp isn't.
