It's a "reverse eBay" - on eBay you set prices and wait for buyers to bite, on Cardsphere buyers set prices they're willing to pay and it's up to you to grab the offer before someone else does. Cardsphere has fees per card (a % of value, min $0.01) AND a cash-out 10% fee, but you gotta cash out at least $100. eBay has an up-front fee that you pay when making the listing. So if you want to sell a couple of high-value popular cards that you're sure someone will take off your hands, you go to eBay and handle them individually. If you have a bunch of low-value cards that you think might stack up eventually but isn't really worth the up-front investment, you could toss your list onto Cardsphere (or another similar site) and look for matches. I've sent out 13k+ cards in 8 years, but I started with 45k+ and I didn't cash out (spent it on the few cards I wanted to collect).One thing that no one's brought up yet is "hobby income" which might be an issue if you're in the US. Over the pandemic, with everyone working from home and doing Zelle/money transfers, Uncle Sam decided to take his cut.
