As said its an anachronistic mix of all periods of egypt, but the main difference is that its not as centralized of a kingdom due to the dangerous "adventure friendly" lands separating the various cities, so there is a costant push and pull for influence between the royal family and the various temple cults that administer the city's ecomony and the like. The party is 3 players, two are playing temple guards, which are stereotypical super soldier huge ladies that serve their specific temples interest (crocodile temple guard is a barbarian, temple guard is a rogue) and one rich nepo baby greek elf wizard thats there to "study" like all rich greeks liked to do back in the day taking a few gap years in egypt

And don't really give a shit beyond that.I think you should maybe start with a plot that you think stands good on its own merits for a campaign, then add in the Egyptian themes later, and finally find a way to make those themes matter. Don't just change "King" to "Pharoah", try to learn where those titles differ and what it'd mean to be one or the other.Shit, you kind of have an "evil cult takes over the kingdom" plot already with the Atenists. Have it so that the "true gods" are being suppressed by this psychotic Pharoah that thinks he's the heir of some sun-god, then go further: have the sun god be some parasitic cosmic entity that threatens to destroy our own sun. BAM. You've got the makings of a campaign there.
