>>98325517I'm inclined to believe most of the stats that anon claims, to be honest. The thing is that the 6 D&D scores don't really measure everything about a person; just capabilities that some nerds thought would be helpful to a dungeon delver. And the things they do measure are grouped too broadly; someone can be great at sharpshooting but terrible at skeeball or needlework. So it's possible for some random dude to have overall pretty high stats according to a favorable interpretation (e.g. measuring dex purely on sharpshooting), but that doesn't mean they're some sort of ubermensch.

str 10. or 11. very average, big bones, needs work.dex 8. no comment.con 14. very resistant, but the only realistic way to show this would be through something more indepth. ie - can take brutal pain easily but prone to disease.wis 8. no comment.int 12, maybe 14. i don't consider myself smart. i do consider the average person a fucking moron. if that's 10, so be it.cha 12. i could be a cult leader, i also fucking hate people. 12 is ok to represent that.

>>98328791Would that make Lasha level 20? You know, starting at 18 str at level 1, then getting +1 at 4th, 8th, 12th, 16th and 20th level.

STR: 12. Hardly a gym rat, but my job requires a fair amount of heavy lifting on a daily basis. I feel confident saying I'm slightly stronger than the average person as a result.DEX: 10. INT: 14. Read a lot. Good with languages. Have an easy time grasping abstract concepts. I enjoy debates.CHA: 16. I've held multiple sales-related jobs, and tend to do well at them. People generally like me and have a tendency to open up to me. I have standing offers for a free bed in multiple major cities. I have talked women into sleeping with me within an hour of meeting them.
>>98328817No, I don't think anyone on Earth is level 20. Take the Complacent Human subrace from Dragon 320: "These humans hail from decadent, advanced, or exceptionally wealthy societies. Rather than focusing on relentless adventuring, physical survival, or widespread conquests, their culture allows them the luxury of specialization. They focus heavily on physical disciplines for sport and beauty, or intellectual debate for mental stimulation, but their abilities lack the rugged, "real-world" adaptability of standard humans." Describes modern society to a T. Complacent Humans don't get bonus skillpoints or a bonus feat at 1st level, but they do get +2 to one ability score of their choice. Add the Human Paragon's level 3 ability (Human Paragon definitely seems like a class for Olympic athletes), and you've already got to 22. I think the Olympic weightlifting champion is therefore level 4.
>>98328885>Olympic Champion>level 4Wow. What in the world would you have to be to be level 5 then?
>>98329025Professional athletes are very specialized and lack a broad range of skills & feats, so of course they're a low-level build that min-maxes a particular stat. While their achievements are impressive, you aren't going to get a lot of Experience™ working out at a gym; if it were that easy to level up no-one would go fighting monsters & shitHigh level characters in the real world would probably be special forces and SWAT team members: the kind of people who face difficult challenges on the regular (and thus rack up XP). The reason they aren't physically stronger than Olympic athletes is they're using a build that focuses on martial lethality, not just getting one's Strength score really high. But the real world's DM is clearly is using a slower XP progression than is default in D&D, because even special forces aren't THAT high level.

You can do none of that.I believe you have 12 to CON.You do not have 17 to INT. That, too, is close to the human maximum.
