>be me>thin>rotate between roughly 12 people for different campaigns>all of them are fat to varying degrees, including the DMHow do you combat the dnd smell? Last night it was almost unbearable, certainly the worst it has been in a long time. Tell me your fat guy stories
>>98334583>be me>DM, a bit chubby>all my players are healthily built and well-adjustedHow do I make sure I DON'T smell? I'm being serious here my dudes. Is one of these armpit sticks enough?
>>98334583If you can't beat them, join them. By which I don't mean ruining your body with lard ballast, just don't wash couple days before the session.
>>98334583Stop playing with americans!
>>98334588Bro, do you shower? Do you wash your clothes?
>>98334588I suspect a huge amount of my players don’t wash their clothes properly, if at all. So definitely do thatWash yourselfClean your teethSimple as
>>98334908Yeah, one of the guys I gamed with for a year in uni would re-wear his clothes multiple times and stank as a result.I had a chat with him eventually and he got his act together.
>>98334925>>98334908Incidentally, some pump or drain in my washing machine broke last year and supposedly clean clothes were coming out after a wash smelling kinda like he did.
>>98334602This. Smells are particulate matter. You need to create a sufficiently dense aura of your own brand to keep out their.
>>98334929But you had the sense to understand your clothes smelt and that it needed to be fixed. I used to live with a guy so whose clothes stank like shit. When we confronted him about it we realised he wasnt using detergent, just using water in the machine, and then hanging them in his room to dry with next to zero ventilation. The dank, swamp stink from his room was absolutely wretched and we demanded he wash/hang his clothes out like a normal fucking person
>>98334583The tiny table is the cherry on top.
>>98334583>How do you combat the dnd smell?Don't use D&D.
>>98334588Just shower twice a day, change your clothes everyday, change your sheets once a week, vacuum your carpets if you have them at least twice a week. If you don’t keep a clean house, the stink of the house seeps into your clothes.Clean your undercarriage when you shower. Don’t ignore the underside of your gut, or other places the sun don’t shine; scrub your entire body, every inch, right down to the ankles.Use deodorant most days, antiperspirant on game days.
>>98334588Stop being fat, people can smell your low testosterone pheromonesUnironically the spots of fat accumulate sweat and overtime kinda smellsSo yeah, grqb some dumbelss and get some cardio u fat fuck
>>98335418>spots of fat accumulate sweat and overtime kinda smellsRight, because the fat is on the outside of the skin. Retard. The reason fat people smell is because they’re too lazy to clean themselves. Get fit to be healthy, have better stamina, get healthy because the excess weight of being fat grinds down the cartilage in your joints and spine and will cripple you. Getting fit won’t your armpits and unwashed asscrack stop smelling.
>>98334583I like the guy on the right's minecraft cosplay
>>98334583Blatant fat people slander
>>98334588scrub your fucking balls vigorously with soap and a cloth or something same thing with armpits it's the dead skin that smells so scrub it
>>98335406>shower twice a dayJesus christ how fucking odorous are you that you need to annihiliate your pores like that? Shower once every like 24-48 hours unless you've worked up a massive sweat earlier in the day, don't habitually do it several times a day. Christ no wonder you guys smell
I don't wash my clothes. I wear the same socks until they basically disintegrate
>>98336162Deserved. Just put down the fork. If you enjoy being fat so much, just rp a fat person on tabletop
Just don't play with fatties. They're all vile worthless sloth demons.
>>98335406>shower twice a dayLmao what swamp ogre bullshit is this? Hit the gym, shower, go about your day, go to sleep, repeat. Ezpz.
>>98335189The table is normal, they are just big.
>>98334583Honestly, most of my groups never had a problem with that kind of thing, so this is completely foreign to me.If you can't herd people hard enough into the showers (adolf would be very disappointed), I guess playing online eliminates the smell factor
>>98334583I cannot for the life of me figure out how people can just live with smelling bad. I'm fat as fuck, but I still bathe daily and wear deodorant. It is not difficult to remove body odor, there's no excuse for it
>>98338597Being fat is highly correlated with many other mental illnesses that lead to people not taking care of themselves.
>>98338597I'm this dude's polar opposite. Tall as a tower and skinny as a stick, with horrible personal hygiene and no regrets.
I legitimately don't get how people don't notice it on themselves. Our home gaming group is all good but some of the guys from our uni group just reek of stale sweat. Not the "I went to the gym" type thing, more "I last washed these clothes days ago."Maybe it's my child of the 90s thing; we did a lot of weekends out on the pull and that meant putting in effort. To this day I still shower and change before more or less any social event.>>98334588If you're worried about it, it's unlikely to be you.If it helps, in my experience, deodorant sticks aren't nearly as effective as sprays. Nothing beats a shower and a change of clothes though.I will say I do notice I sweat when playing 40k tournaments. I think it's slightly hot rooms, stuffy environment and slightly awkward posture combining.
>>98334588Wear light clothing with a fabric that wicks away sweat. When bathing, make sure to wash the various nooks and crannies that might be harder to reach normally and just generally be more conscious of how you're washing yourself. Eat cleaner as well: things like fried foods, red meat, and certain vegetables (including basically any alliums and brassicas) can make your sweat smell worse. In general though, even if everyone involved is healthy, sitting around for a few hours gaming is bound to make people exude some odors, so be sure to game somewhere with good ventilation and sit on chairs that are easily cleaned.
>>98334588I recommend you get some arm and hammer powder for your nether regions, it helps prevent moisture build up that produces rashes and fragrance down there. Be sure to wash your face, beard and scrub behind and inside of your ears. Do not use shitty soaps, use something that's actually good for your skin like goat milk, lavender and mint bars. Get a soft bristle brush, brush after every meal or at least day start and day end, floss too, but do not ruin your enamel with over abrading it. Clean your clothes, get fabreeze if you think your house stinks, light a match or lighter up when you shit down the bathroom. Then and only then should you take a look at your diet if you're so mother fucking stinky. t. 330 lbs 6'2" rigga rad
>>98334588Shower before you go to the game, have freshly cleaned clothes to put on, use antiperspirant and deodorant, brush your teeth and tongue, take some mint gum along with you. If that's not enough, and your fresh sweat is still rank enough to bother people, that might be that, some people are just that way.
>>98334583man, sorry to read that anon.im fat but i make a point of showering every day.
