The guaranteed AP 3 is a nice threat, and the unit has Line 1 so they can camp on one objective and disintegrate scoring units on another. But have had an outrageously low number of veterans die to Overload so far, so definitely not the most objective opinion lol.

The Seventh Serpent was okay if a little contorted here and there, except that it tried and did a good job at fleshing out what in terms of fighting but especially operationally distinguishes AL from IH from RG and Sallie legion culture. “Castellans” is a weird place to be slotted for IF as a crusading force but only at first glance: A garrison force for when mortal troops would simply be outclassed, and before it comes to that, fighting in the void. Void specialized units, premier garrison force, with generalist troopers operating consistently at chapter strength has great playing potential for defender attacker/void/zone mortalis scenarios. I’d build a force kitting out the command echelon, with plenty of termies, storm shields/breachers, and lots of meltas and flamers. Idk why but grav weapons seems to be in character.
