I picked this up at a local comic con this past weekend for cheep. Is it as fun as it looks?

>>98345226it's based on the Deadzone ruleset. It's pretty fun, and fast paced with not too much pointless minutiae. the newer models have improved the sculpt quality drastically. I painted all the spartans I have to a lazy 4 color contrast standard last weekend, but the elites and brutes I'm trying to actually airbrush to something good. but yeah like everyone else here said, just play the game or paint the models.

If you think the game looked cool enough to be worth buying, it's got to be good enough to be worth playing. for your own sake, don't be one of those people who only forms opinions on hobby stuff if they can get approval of other randoms online. You enjoy what you enjoy, and don't need to justify liking a specific miniatures game over another.
>>98345226My brother and I bought the spartan edition box last month. It's pretty fun. We had an autistic brawl for half the game, where half of each of our teams fought on a single square over an energy sword. The turns can go by quickly enough, but good god there's a lot of keywords to refer to.The models are nice and I particularly like the elite sculpts, but I do wish that the spartans could have swappable helmets for fashion's sake.
