Does your group have any players who just kind of annoy the shit out of you.My group who has two:>Guy who always, always supports the status quo and never opposes authority. He never fucks around with guards or bargains for higher rewards or considers other deals.>Girl who seems to enjoy fucking the absolute worst people possible, including a literal slave-trader, so we can't kill them. I'm talking an actual "This is my pleasure slave tee hee I mean concubine" oily mother fucker.I feel both of them do it specifically to fuck with me, I just want the group to be - you know - heroes.
>>98363405 A G-G-G-G-G--G-G-G-G--GIRL?! GULP!ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU PLAYED WITH AN ACTUAL WOMAN?! OH KAMI-SAMA, BLESS US WITH YOUR WISDOM
>>98363405>we can't kill themYou actually can!
>>98363405yeah, it's my chud player. he's a weirdo and a creep
>>98363405I just want my players to fucking do something. I try my best to make actionable descriptions of what's going on, with npc interactions, as well as hooks their characters might be interested in but they just sit there after a room description, expecting me to say more. I can't control your characters for you, I'd be playing a solo game with an audience at that point. Thankfully we're doing a one-shot that I'll be a player for so I can show them how it's done while trying to rope them into it, because otherwise I think I genuinely can't play ttrpgs with my friends.
Please make an original character for once in your life. All your characters are literally lifted from gacha games. Can you please try to make something original for once?
>>98365306wtf are you talking about?
>>98363405Yeah, and it's usually a female.I've never had a female player that didn't eventually (or quickly) become a huge problem.I'm sure they're out there somewhere, but I'm not dumb enough to try again.
>>98365388I have a player who only plays characters from gacha games No matter what the setting, they will square peg round hole a gacha game character, lore and all, into the setting.
>>98363405Nah. We've got one player who is just very passive, but the rest of us keep things moving so it's never a problem. We've got another player who's been a part of the group for almost 10 years and I still don't think she's ever read a rulebook in its entirety, but we've been gaming together for so long that she's picked up the rules for most our regular systems by osmosis. And finally, we've got one player who occasionally let's her fetishes rise a little too close to the surface but she's extremely hot so that just becomes fantasy fuel instead of annoying That Guy behaviour. And yes, they're the three girls in the group. They might not annoy the shit out of me but they're as close to bad players as we've got, >>98365423 has it right.
>>98365423>I had a girl player who I thought was really invested and interested in the game. Showed interest in the fact that I optimized my Pathfinder 1e character by taking Adopted Feat and then picking Dwarf as my adopted parent.>Then proceeds to cuck her boyfriend with the other dude in the group and his girlfriend. And the entire ttrpg group dissolved into nothingness because we lost three players.>Last I heard she was kicked out of their relationship for being weird and wanting to get more people involved.>Moral of the story: listen to your mom when she says to only date Christian girls.
>>98363405>>Guy who always, always supports the status quo and never opposes authority. He never fucks around with guards or bargains for higher rewards or considers other deals.>I feel both of them do it specifically to fuck with me, I just want the group to be - you know - heroes. What's the issue with the first guy?
>>98367005>listen to your mom when she says to only date Christian girls.Mom's hadn't got the memo yet, eh?
>>98363405He plays video games during sessions. Unsurprisingly the least mechanically competent player at the table but somehow a decent roleplayer. Everyone else seems fine with it but I seethe quietly every week
>>98363405>He never fucks around with guards or bargains for higher rewards or considers other deals. How is this a problem? He doesn't try to derail things by going I ATTAK DA GARDS LOOLOL and he doesn't trust faustian bargains. That seems incredibly normal, in fact it sounds like you're just kinda mad you can't dangle consequences for risky behavior over his head because he plays cautious.
>>98363405Didn't you already post this kinda thread >>98319363
>>98363405I made a similar thread about a player I hated. Would over optimise and try to somewhat cheat, show up late, make shit jokes and never lock in, get distracted, try to detail shit by being lesorandum. So I took /tg/ anon advice and kicked him. Life's too short for shit games
>>98366878What's her fetish?
>>98363405The only complaint I can make about my fellow players is that they often take too long to take their damn turnI mean I do get that we're doing PBP but cmon man it doesn't take five days to look at the fucking map and move somewhere or attack something
>>98363405>I just want the group to be - you know - heroes.>Guy who always, always supports the status quo and never opposes authority. He never fucks around with guards or bargains for higher rewards or considers other deals.Sounds like the gash is your only problem. that guy is great.
>>98370246BDSM more generally IRL. Rape and mindbreak in-game, usually of tough Amazon types or lovable tomboy scamps.
>>98363405Two players>One guy who always asks for extra class features, until he has so broken abomination with no drawbacks, only to never do anything with it and proclaim any challenge the party might face is completely insurmountable .>Other guy picks a class, doesn't learn how it works, spams on spell/ability or basic attack for 4 sessions, proclaims the class sucks, asks to make a new character, repeat.
>>98368260A cautious playstyle is only interesting in a system that's out to fuck you in the ass. In anything that's not intentionally super hostile a passive player is a boring timewaster who leaves all the work of making the session fun to the GM and other players.Live a little, have some flaws that make you do questionable shit, take some risks. Do ANYTHING.
>>98375327So where do I sign up for your game? ERP virgin here, sadkek
I've had great luck with female players in my time. My first D&D group back in high school had one who was an artist and she'd sketch everyone's characters in between sessions and it was great. Two others players started to fall for her and that shit bled over into the game and eventually started to get annoying as fuck though. Chick i played with in college was an absolute smokeshow but bit crazy.
