>>98365616Do not attribute to basedness what can be sufficiently explained by blind incompetence.
>>98365654Do you think someone saw the line in the old rules text and removed it because they thought it was a waste of space, or they removed it so that GMs could be the ultimate decision maker on how the spell works on a case by case basis?
>>98365974they had to take out three lines for the column to fit better or something retarded like that.
>>98366029Almost certainly, I've done similar shit to get everything to fit onto one page in my own personal stuff. I wonder if they covered this in the 5.5 errata, or if they're fine with changing a functionality of a spell that doesn't seem intentional.
>>98365616>video brought to you buy a product that is being sold on dndbeyond
>>98366090Well how about you sponsor his next video tough guy, then you can have it advertise your favorite sex doll or whatever the fuck you want
>>98365616Not watching your video, buy an ad, but 2024 has rules for being crushed. DMG page 30, there's a dedicated table for improvised damage, and one of the examples is being crushed by compacting walls.Logically, that would apply to a creature who grows into a space too small for them; it's 10d10 which for low level characters is Deadly Damage. I'd probably make it Bludgeoning damage since that's usually used for spells that squeeze, crush, or otherwise compress a creature in a painful manner. Do if your Goliath Barbarian gets hit with Enlarge/Reduce and is made Large in size in a Medium cage, they'd take 10d10 bludgeoning damage as they're unable to safely expand to full size, their body being crushed inside the smaller space. It's like you spergs can't read the book or something.
>>98366245>BuY aN aD
>>98366245>Not watching your video, but 2024 has rules for being crushedIf you didn't watch the video how did you know it had anything to do with being crushed?
>>98366300Yes, if you want to shill your shitty poorly-drawn youtube slop, buy an ad.>>98366308The thumbnail and the differences between the 2014 and 2024 text for Enlarge/Reduce. It's called context clues, they teach this to literal children, and if you can't use them you might just be a retard.
>>98365616>if it changes to your disadvantage in every situationmy dm be like
>>98366423bump just to spite this guy
>>98365616buy an ad
>>98365616>advertising/begging
>>98366219>then you can have it advertise your favorite sex doll or whatever the fuck you wantBeen pitching this to Ginny Di for quite some time. No success yet, unfortunately.
>>98365654I don't think it was either of these.I think it was spite.
>>98365616Sponsored by: Valda’s Spire of Secrets Player Pack 2Publisher: Mage Hand PressCool. Where's the MHP trove?
>>98365616They probably did out of spite. Sometimes there is a level of incompetence that you have to wonder if it is deliberate. It could be spite or just testing the fandom to see how bad things can get before they move away truly.>>98372829>traditional games?>post models>how did this affect your last session?Do you all think there are AI bots here and /tg/ is used as a testing ground?
>>98372930>Do you all think there are AI bots here and /tg/ is used as a testing ground?I think the mods and jannies are trying to spoof activity and bait people into arguments, but also some ass-blasted retard has repeatedly seething about people responding to puckee-tier threads with loud and repeated calls to go kill himself. So he thinks he's turning the tables on /tg/ by spamming those kinds of replies in every new thread in hopes of making /tg/ users turn against people who care about on-topic discussion of real games.
>>98365616>intentionally making retarded choicesI think this has been deliberately done before to release a "fixed edition" that costs money to make more sales. Also to make the fandom fight themselves over whether the broken changes are actually bad or good or if people are taking the product too seriously. Or if they should stop caring about a product they love so the new product is consumed more.
>>98372930Why are you on this board if you don't play games and don't want to discuss them?
>>98371650The trove only works when a product is worth pirating. Their stuff is shit, and not even worth ripping.
