It has a Website, Discord, and a playable version on Tabletop Simulator. Cards pulled from packs are often damaged, and in many cases it will just be your rarer cards, because fuck you.>They declared their own game rules to be invalid with a new Comprehensive Rules Document inbound to resolve the issue. Players were unable to "properly" test cards and decks during the interim, since there were no official rules clarifications. As a result, most local scenes of this already niche game died as it took them OVER A YEAR to make a new CRD despite sets still releasing.>After making a new CRD, players had questions about many things, leading to Upper Deck to basically state "whoops, we'll have to fix that once we figure out how this shit even works." (Think Ikoria from MtG with its Mutate and Companion mechanics where even the devs didn't know how things worked.)>Piss off players by announcing that set 6 will be releasing two weeks before the Neopets World Championship at Gen Con and that the cards will be legal. Most players will not even get access to the cards before the tournament due to shipping times, and even the ones that do will not have time to build and test decks.>To help "fix" the previous issue, Upper Deck spoiled the cards early so players could start testing decks. After explaining the new mechanics to players and clarifying interactions players had questions about, players began building and testing decks. A few days ago, once players had a good idea of what they were building for the tournament, Upper Deck completely changed how the new mechanics worked and invalidated pretty much every build that players were considering.
There's been a bunch of other irritating shit, too, like crediting the wrong artist on cards, pre-orders for deck boxes that were purchased 7 months ago just never getting shipped to anybody while new deck boxes were created and shipped since then. (Yes, so far Upper Deck has just kept people's money and never shipped them.)It's been an absolute clusterfuck. And there's other shit, but I'm done typing all this.
Oh wait, no, one more BIG thing I have to mention regarding Neopets. They changed the boxes from having 24 packs to only 20 for the release of set 6 and onward. To "make up for it" to players, they changed the pulls per pack from 3 commons and 2 rares to the much better 2 commons and 3 rares. It even says on the promotional material, boxes, and packs that they have 3 rares (or higher rarities) per pack now. Players just got their orders in and started cracking packs.The packs contain only 2 rares instead of 3.
Meanwhile, the creator of the Neopets Battledome TCG left quite some time ago, and Upper Deck has only four people TOTAL working on both Neopets AND Rush of Ikorr.I guess I wasn't done typing. God, what a fucking mess. And none of this even covers the fucking awful game balance issues we've been having.

As for the palworld game I have mixed feelings. Looks decent and has potential depth. I plan on going to my LGS for the palworld release event to see what it’s like and what the vibe is. I like the art on the cards and it seems like a nice break from Magic. However I do worry about themes and shit because of my autism and so when I see cards like pic related I get a little concerned because how the fuck is a chair related to doing damage unless your slamming that bitch down WWE style. I feel like they missed the mark and it should do something more akin to making a pal stand back up on use or on entry. I’ll post again 8/1 with my thoughts on the game. The demons online have been unimpressive

Now a days there's such a fucked up cadence of releases literally no one could predict that has derailed the update cycle that each class expected year on year. Their last supplemental set was atrocious and hardly supported the class spread beyond "we need stuff for sage players to pine after." Their sage support has failed so spectacularly that they're down shifting rareties left and right just to keep certain heroes functioning in the format let alone compete to win. This game is spiraling the drain right now unless LSS wakes up and corrects their trajectory.

Just the hero card for Blaze is like 10 EUR on cardmarket right now, and more seasoned FAB players pretend it's alright to paywall guides, employ the most horrible mobile game type monetizations on talishar and scalp cards when you have the opportunity to do so. I did try sorcery too and I don't see it being a competitive thing with all the weird balance and templating issues but it's fun and precons are acailable for a somewhat reasonable price.

>>98418636It certainly is unique if you put any effort in trying to learn and play and break the game you’d see that. It pools the best forms of mechanics from other games while maining a few semblances of its own unique element with the way resources and structures work as well as how you play cards on your turn. I enjoy the way resource generation works and how the 4 colors match the themes of MtG. Red being damage, blue card draw and control, black with sacrifices and removal, green with buff spells and soul resource ramp. The lucky and quick negate mechanic is also interesting.

Does anyone have any experience with the Godzilla game? It seems unique but screencaps from the movies is really lazy and I dont know how long a series with like 50 monsters can realistically last.The poster cards looks really cool though and I'm thinking about just collecting those.
Why did the pokescalpers come to lorcana? I'm not paying $15/pack for a new set.Helps keep non-fancy legendaries cheap(ish) at least. And otherwise new rotation looks great, I'm hoping the meta is as open as it looks. Sad that toys probably won't be competitive though.
