Hero Idea:
Name: Grey Matter

Powers: Psychic symbiote host. Much smaller than the likes of Venom. The simbiote resembles mercury and is mostly aggregated at the brainstem of Grey Matter's skull. It can only provide minor structural support to the hosts body or be formed into small objects like bullets or little tracking beads, however also provides Minor psychic powers like surface level esp, heating or dampening other's emotions, movement of 5 lbs objects. Can also consume a memory in order to do a major psychic power like mind reading, full on illusion, or firing a powerful psychic stream of force.

Personality and quirks: Is generally positive and tries to be insightful or thoughtful, liking to learn new things and applying them. However he is absentminded much of the time in part because of his pseudo-parasite and in part due to his natural forgetfullness. Tries to make the best of what little he can recall at a time, coming of as almost comically optimistic though still pragmatic. Many things in his mind is going to last for long, so might as well make the best of what he has. Though he still struggles with the ever present sensation of loss.

Looks: Tends to wear all gray with the exception of one or two brightly colored additions like a yellow armband or a blue ribbon around his hat.

Oh Lead Head, that would be a good name!

There is some layers to that one!

Why are you posting about games?
>>
>>98415340
I must have missed it, which game was he talking about?
>>

I wanted to make my own supers setting in which some people could get unique powers, while anyone who wanted power could train in superhuman martial arts and/or elemental sorcery.
My target audience for collaborative writing wasn't interested in it, so I never developed it, though.

due to the nature of supehero media, where an amazon warrior and an alien from another planet beating up a robot from 10,000BC happens without anyone other than loud-mouthed teen hero pointing out how absurd it is, most characters are pretty system agnostic

you can rebuild the same character in almost any and in any system without too much problem
at most you just have to rename "new york" to "fictional metropolis with super heroes" or rename the source of your power from magic amulet to nanomachines (which are stored in an amulet)

This board is for worldbuilding and fetishes, not games.

You can make comics, films, literature, and television from these concepts too, so they aren't necessarily inherently one medium or another until an aspect exclusive to that medium is brought up.
So I ask where in that anon's post was anything exclusive to tabletop games brought up, because I must have missed it before.

the best part about superhero games is that the worldbuilding is extremely flexible
a grounded universe where the only super power is peak human and advanced technology suddenly coming face to face with supernatural or extraterrestrial threats is a perfect session 1 plot
>>
>>98415420
This is also a perfect plot for an issue 1 comic, film trailer, first title in a serial novel, or pilot episode for a show, so where was any mention of something exclusive to tabletop gaming?

>So I ask where in that anon's post was anything exclusive to tabletop games brought up
since youre autistic, there are many superhero RPG systems, tabletop games you may say, and by asking for ideas they are implicitly asking for characters to use in their own game

it wasnt said explicitly, but humans understand nuance and context, and asking for ideas about superheroes in a board about tabletop games can be understood to mean superhero RPGs without having to explicitly say that part, which most humans would find redundant
