>>98414296holy SOUL
>TQI built Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder because I want to have sex with him/her still don't know which one it is
>>98414264I run this card with Phylath and there's a hand with this in that gets me a crazy start (for a Phylath deck): T1 Mountain, Orcish LumberjackT2 Forest, Rampant Growth for another ForestT3 Tap all lands for RGG, tap lumberjack to sac a forest for antother RRR, play Phylath and get two plants, play land for turn triggering Phylath's landfall
>>98414360Evereth is a woman
>>98414407ok, someone here said he at one point referencing her so I just thought I was wrong this entire time

>>98414264I like this garbage card with my garbage commander
>>98414721That garbage card isn't even bad though.
>>98414726Its not horrible but I guess I think it is bad because there are several cards that do the same thing but better. It actually winds up dead in my hand a lot too where other versions can do art/enc/land or all
on a scale of 0-2how salty is this card if I have it copied with muddle
>>98414264Tellah's showcase is so much better with that aurafarming art vs his normal one that it was the major push in me building him
>>98414721Here's a garbage picture of it even. One 'small' problem I can't find my Shatotto, Tactician Magician that is supposed to go in there...
>>98414788Every time someone says muddle I think they mean Muddle the Mixture and I get confused as hell for a second. Also not that much. If I see muddle in the command zone I've been holding removal for something like this before you move to combat.
>>98414473Goblin lovers are just closeted pedophiles

Land denial is a nono-square, but shutting down a whole deck for 2cmc is fine.

>>98414980I am not.
I have Phyrexian Obliterator on my field and use a Fight spell to make it fight another player's 7/7 creature, killing itself. Does the other player still have to sac 7 permanents even though it was my spell that caused the damage to occur?

>>98414995>Some of them aren't even borderline, they're just straight up pornWhere's the line? I figured nudity would be it, in which case they are all on the border. Certainly it would be required to be "straight up porn".

>>98414995Careful now. You're about to make me take it too far.
>>98415047>tribalshitNm, I take it back
>>98414656Ohhhh, the top one's fake.
>>98415038That's not a line, it's not solid enough to be a line. You literally said "overly" which is as vague as it gets.
>>98415062its pretty damn telegraphed since you need 8BB and 3 cards if you want to do it in one turn even if you're in colors that can tutor any part of it even with the bad tutors. Mana neccessary to fire is even higher if you want to mistrise to prevent counterspelling on the finisher. Like that's pretty mid-B2 as far as combos go even if it doesn't take your commander to be cast
>>98415089>Overly doesn't mean anything Yes it does you fucking retard. If everything you make has to have giant tits and ass hanging out all over the place, it's ovely sexualized and porn even if there's not vagina or nipple shown. This is incredibly simple.
>>98415142Overly is not specific. It just isn't. I'm sorry you can't understand that.
>>98415077You aren't funny or clever.
>>98415087Cool, stay the fuck away from my pod
Do you think it would ever be possible to get a Voltron strategy to bracket 4 power if you played something control/pillowfort alongside focusing on commander damage?
>>98415153You're so serious. You need to relax.>>98415165As long as you can get it to work before people combo out, anything is possible. All you need to do with play godo and get helm of the host on him as fast as possible and you're technically voltron. Godo helm is a CEDH deck.
>non foil of this drop is the only one sold outDamn, did they finally learn to print more lairs?

>>98415204It's Stardew Valley bro
>>98415193I didn't even know it came out
>cast wedding ring>get 10 cardsthis thing is insane actually
>>98415165I think slicer is really good, and he works pretty well with voltron strats
>>98415351It's great when your "spouse" has Sylvan Library. You get to draw three cards with them but don't have any rule that punishes you for keeping all of them like they do.
>>98415351>Put it on a person who was playing sephiroth>hfw he realizes his main kill combo will never effect me at all, and he doesn't have a way to remove an artifact while filling my hand too.
>>98415370>>98415351My favorite thing to do is use Sculpting Steel and force myself in."Sup, buds. We's a polycule now"
>>98415351I have one in one of my boros decks. Using it with a wheel (cast at instant speed on their turn) is hilarious.
>>98415378I should give out wedding ring copies to everyone. If everybody scoops I win.
>>98415371Parallel draw isn't going to stop sephiroth dumbass
>>98415412No, the life gain will keep you neutral though.
>>98414572>AI dashSo does WotC use AI for the stories now? Surely ChatGPT can make something better than this.
>>98414996unironically doesn't count as that's a D&D character, mtg's art style is about women being ugly foids
>>98415412dummy
>>98415423Shit, is there a commander with this kinda setup? It'd be hilarious (in a stax sorta way) to give it hexproof/indestructible and just sit there and gloat about me being unkillable against all of my friends' lifegain decks
>>98415485While we are at it.
>>98415536>Showing the one card where it’s legal in Commander and the text includes “infect” and the text includes “can't be blocked”
>>98415540Was looking through unblockables for this dumb thing.Second choice after the invisible guy with hexproof.
>>98415557Ah yes I'm reminded of my dream of having some super cool equipment in the command zone with small/dispensable unblockables. A shame the idea never happened, we've only had incredibly mid options like these for years. One day they'll allow "equipment that can make legendary creatures" and I can finally have the Elbrus deck I've always dreamed of
Holy shit some actually good fucking Dwarf cards that aren't just Magda tap fodder. Based set. Based Tolkien
I'm only in B3/B2 games usually. Having this in my monoblack deck would get me DQ'd because as written her ult is a MLD, yeah? Even if it would be supremely wack to even have her survive long enough to cast it, just the possibility means I should find another planeswalker to slot in
>>98415640That's going in my Depala deck.
>>98415702If anyone complains about her, call them a faggot ass bitch and play her anyway. If anyone is playing anything near B3, they can handle any Liliana.
>>98415702Most people -4 her right away but when my buddy plays her we just gang up on him for a bit. Never see her ult go off.
>>98415702Anyone complaining about a planeswalker's ult in a fucking 4 player game needs to seriously reevaluate their life. ESPECIALLY a 6mana walker in a fucking monoblack deck. Unless you're playing the biggest fucking control/stax/prison setup it's going to die very quickly regardless of how hard you try to keep it alive
>>98415540Have you looked into Phyrexian Crusader? Not technically unblockable but he gets through pretty easily and first strike+infect is a good combination. As a 2/2 he can fight a 3/3 and survive.
>>98415717I love all things Infect, of course I know about him
>>98415704>>98415715>>98415716That is indeed what happened I got 2 creatures off the board for everyone else but the next guy just dropped a hasted thing and killed herThey just messaged me after the game about her -9 being B4 territory
>Drop down Sword of Hearth and Home>Rakdos player ignores it because its protections don't do anything to him>Play Eight-and-a-Half-Tails and equip him>On his turn he tries to kill 8.5 with some black kill spell>Turn his spell white>He tries to destroy H&H with some red destruction spell>Turn his spell white and give the sword protectionI don't know what his plan was but it didn't work.
>>98415733Tell them if they were able to kill her that easily, that's not B4. If she is able to get her ult off without you running full stax or some sort of Proliferate shenanigans, they fucking deserve it with their B1 decks.I run her Japanese version in my Grimgrin deck. I'll explain what she does when I put her down and then never again. I'll just say I'm only going to tick her up to get sac fodder for Grimmy (usually true).
>>98415733>They just messaged me after the game about her -9 being B4 territoryTell them to suck a bag of dicks
>>98415733Proof number 9821438548766663 that brackets don't work
>>98415733Every day I find fresh evidence of being one of the few people on the planet who understand the difference between stuff like Armageddon and a walker's ult like that Liliana and Ajani Vengeant. If you're not running some mass/infinite proliferate to ult it the turn it drops, then your pod is irredeemably bad for letting a fucking ult pop off after like 3 fucking turn cycles
In case y'all were interested, then dude who drew the Goblin Storm arts has some of those arts as prints for playmats. The pre-order ends on Monday.
>>98415826Not a fan of his art style
>>98415832Same, it's way too tumblr/cal arts for my taste
>>98415703depaladoubters in absolute shambles right now
>>98415861nta but I built her many years ago and I've never regretted it. she's aged like a fine wine
>>98415746Got a List? wanted to build this fox for a while.
>>98415861Depala was always pretty jank because vehicles are a pretty jank mechanic. Still one of my favorite decks to play.I did add Magda and she did make it a lot stronger. Being able to just tap out all my untapped dorfs to crew a random vehicle on my last opponent's end step just to get a bunch of treasures is pretty nice.
>>98415703I built her and took it apart. I leaned too much into vehicles, maybe I'll revisit it with more of a dwarf focus.Friends hated me looping pic related though
>>98415900I've kept mine Vehicle focused with a bit of a lean towards some artifact/colorless goodstuff.
>>98415900Whoops
>>98415826Adventure Time ripoff bullshit
>>98415864He's just one of my 99. He's kind of on the weak side, but I like to keep him in because he can do a lot of funky and weird stuff.
>>98415900>>98415703I'm just going to make and throw gold at people
>>98415953tiny aragorn
>>98415870>vehicles are a pretty jank mechanicVehicles are one of the design team's favorite card types and they constantly try to cram in as much vehicle support as possible per set. They're not cedh territory (yet) but they're far from unplayable or weak nowadays, and they're guaranteed to get continual support for at least 2-3 more years.
>>98416001Vehicles are gonna get some hella spicy stuff in Titanbreach I bet
>>98416001I don't dislike vehicles in any way, and there are some I love, even from UB. But the fact that you need to keep SOME shitters around to crew them through your turn and all three of your opponent's turns make them not the best around. But like I said, Depala is one of my favorite decks to play, even if it doesn't win very much.
>>98414421>>souls proxy posterHe's harmless

>>98414421>souls proxy posternah you're gay
>>98416016This thing is immune to so much shit it might as well be God.

>>98416051>Build a dogshit archetype>I can't believe this is shit
>Vehicles with effects when they're non-creature artifactsCool, the option of turning them into creatures w/ crew is additional versatility on top of beneficial effects>Vehicles that NEED to be crewed before they do anythingKinda lame, that's just an additional cost you need to repeatedly pay...>The fact Titan Breach mechas are probably going to be vehicles that need to be crewed, and we're going to get more pilot tokenszzzzhave some cat piss
>>98414922No. If I see that shit in the command zone, I don't care if you give me the whole "I'm not like the other girls teehee," I'm going to be bored immediately and assume it's either combofaggotry or pseudo-storm underneath control. You're not special or unique, you're just a faggot that wants cheap wins whose too much of a pussy to just build a higher bracket or own up to potentially being the archenemy.
>>98416097>Titan Breach mechas are probably going to be vehicles that need to be crewedI imagine a good chunk of them will be like that. But I hope that Shorikai will be like a roadmap for them to follow and guide future mecha vehicles.
>>98416051It's shit but I like Sydri.
just saw the old one was at the bump limit, its almost like GōtC brain drain influences the thread limits...anyway reposting this question to the Goblin Gooner:>>98413908brosephus what is that device for tracking the game state? that is awesome. and I was watching some old tournament videos and the judge at the table was putting out mana pool cards with dice and it looks like you have those here too. why am I just now finding out about mana pool counters

I don't see anyone complaining about the first Commander product since Commander Masters being a Secret lair / Con only thing.Do people just not care it’ll be unavailable and scalped to death?
How are there only 2 witch-maw commanders and they are both the same "person"?Thought this format is at least 2 decades old or whatever.I heard a cheap mana base will fuck me over with a 5 color commander?
>>98416247>I heard a cheap mana base will fuck me over with a 5 color commander? Not really. It's not 2016 anymore. There are a fuck ton of good dual lands that aren't much.
>>98416107I hope they give us another Mechtitan style card
>>98416247a) nobody calls 4C those names except tranniesb) wandering minstrel is the king of cheap mana base
>>98416256>a) nobody calls 4C those names except tranniesWrong
>>98416253>another Mechtitan style cardGod I fucking hope so too. It's such an obvious and cool direction to take with the theme that it would be insane if they didn't try it more. Those and flip transformations.
>>98416227didnt even hear about it until today but thats dope AF. hope we get future sight basics in this finallyjust opened 2 mystery booster 2 packs today, pulled. a future sight pact of negation, was pretty dope. lost money on the 2nd pack though but thats gotta be my favorite product in a very long time zendikar ill put a box of this as a SLD on credit without a doubt
>>984162475 color you need to play green predominantly and stack the deck with finding basics of the other. color. no matter what the dominant colors are, make sure you have at least 2 basics of each typemake sure you have fetchable duals with the basic typing (even if they're the tango lands "enters the battlefield tapped unless 2 or more basics...) but has the basic typesalso theres no reason not to run the OG duals they cost $3 a piece and are identical to the "real" onesif youre low power its OK to run evolving wilds/terramorphic expansealso you need mana dorks. again leaning into green to get your 5 color mana base Birds of Paradise. 10 dollars for any version that might be a little beat up or again, $3 from a reprinter. llanowar elves. Myr cycle for other colors. Ignoble & Noble Hierarch
>>98416227I'll just proxy if it looks decent. There's zero need to play the scalpers game anymore (opinions of tarded paypigs don't count).
>>98416262mb2 fav product since OG zendikar**
>>98415702>>98415733reminder that liliana's ult says "each opponent" which doesn't meet gavin's mld definition
>>98416051Because even after all these years, there's still not enough great vehicles to build around. It's either prohibitively expensive mana cost with crew 1-2, or 1-2 mana cost and like crew fucking 8. There's not enough low mana cost + low crew + good ability stuff that actively helps you/builds your game plan
>>98416310it's really just the issue of requiring creatures
>>98416316>>98416310here's my dumbass idea for vehicles sram as the commander mono white auras like shelter by ghosts and darksteel mutation for removal and then like 20 hare apparents and then all the best vehicles and cost reducers for fun.

>>98416197Are you making fun of me
>>98416419holy based>>98416433not you, just that pioneer is a meme
They shouldn't make cards that only go in the aids bracket look so cool.
>>98416766The problem with MLD is that people are too irresponsible to use it correctly as a wincon so it has to get quarantined with the other degenerates.
>>98416799But what if I am the exception to the rule? What if I am really cool and smart and attractive and know how to actually use mld? Does that mean I get to run it in bracket 3 or maybe even 2?
>>98416817I'd allow it at my games if you could list atleast 2 examples where you'd MLD as a game winning play instead of slowing down the game for no reason.
>>98416819I think it would make more sense if you came up with the scenario and I'd argue whether or not I would pull the trigger on geddon because otherwise I could just come up with a situation where I am so far ahead that it would always be the correct choice. That being said, I reckon I would use it much like I use Sire of Insanity in my Hypergenesis deck, which is as a disruption tool when I have put myself in a situation to benefit the most from the board remaining as it is. I also play Cataclysm in my Brago deck and almost only fire it off if I can get a bunch of my guys in a parallax wave/ghostway/eerie interlude and then lock people out by bouncing/destroying what little they have left with the etbs I have lined up.
>>98416867Yeah using MLB to "win more" is perfectly valid to me. If you're so ahead on the board that turning off lands for 2-3 turns gives you the win for sure I'd say go for it.I'd kick you from the group if you tried to MLD because you're only slightly ahead or doing it to stop someone from winning on their next untap if no one else has a win lined up. Game's gotta end at some point after all. We're not here sweating for wins.
I made it printready and ordred it.
>>98416819shit is there a wincon for deleting all lands? are there any cards that say "they lose life for every land they *don't* have", like The Rack but for lands?
>>98416902Best I can do off the top of my head is Prince of Thralls into mld or something.
>>98416906fuck, what I wouldn't give to have him in the command zone. play that into Jokulhaups or something would be incredible
>>98416902I wish, but no.I think the best "wincons" that work with opponents lands are shit like Price of Progress that actively want your opponents to have a bunch of lands out.
>>98415702Its cataclysm, so yesIt would be the same if I ulted venser and exiled each permanent you controlled.
>>98416817yes, bloodmoon goes in every sub 3 color red deck
Fellas, if I cast a Sunderflock with Reflections of Littjara in play the Sunderflock copy doesn't trigger when it enters, right? It makes little sense to me that "has been cast" would be a property that can be copied but I'm not entirely sure.
>>98416799Trolls exist in every game. I would deal with MLD trolls playing a chaos deck every once in a while if it means I get to play my stax decks in the only brackets people queue for.
>>98417038Nta but I would argue that the problem with MLD (or other "problem" cards that draw the game to a halt like farewell) isn't as much malicious actors as it is dumb people who don't know how to leverage these cards in a way that allows them to actually win the game
any creature should be eligible as commander, legendary or not.
>>98416902>>98416906This is the only thing that comes close

>>98417419>For a little bit of additional definition around "mass land denial," this is a category of card that most Commander players find frustrating. So, to emphasize it up front, you should not expect to see these cards anywhere in Brackets 1–3. These cards regularly destroy, exile, and bounce other lands, keep lands tapped, or change what mana is produced by four or more lands per player without replacing them. Examples in this category are Armageddon, Ruination, Sunder, Winter Orb, and Blood Moon. Basically, any cards and common game plans that mess with several of people's lands or the mana they produce should not be in your deck if you're seeking to play in Brackets 1–3.wym? perchance I am outdated?

>>98417579Finally another good white tax effect. Only took 35 fucking years.
Final pieces showed up in the mail to slopify this ramp heap into its final state. It's about as done as I'd like it. Not sure how long it'll stay together, it's stronger and far more explosive than I clocked it. It DID win a turn before the turn 7 "bracket 3" count too, though in my defense I got hit with 0 interaction that game. It's super consistent so long as you don't eat turn 2-3 removal, which the deck does deserve to. And I do enjoy taking a million game actions while vomiting out big cards.
WotC insider here. In the next two years, they are going to reprint true duals. They aren't doing it as some part of removing the RL. They are doing explicitly because they are going to errata true duals to count as basic lands. They are also going to be strictly surge foils to not ruin the RL prices. You didn't hear this from me.
>>98416227It'll be as "con only" as Mystery Booster 2, which is to say a million boxes will be put into circulation.
>>98417749>It DID win a turn before the turn 7 "bracket 3" countat a glance i don't see an infinite here, god forbid anyone cry about the combat step
>>98417756so what's underground sea 2.0 going to be named? underground ocean?
>>98417758Yeah, I just chalked up the extreme salt to the player in question being Not Very Good. The deck has minimal haste outlets to give the table a window to "answer" the board before it gets out of hand.We also would've died a turn before that to the combo player if I didn't drop removal on him, but the other two players were sufficiently oblivious to not process the guy was even on a combo deck.It didn't stop one of them from leaving in a huff because he didn't get to "do the thing."
>>98417749cute catto
>>98417768It's going to be called underground sea, because it IS underground sea.
>>98417774combat damage is fine, if anything the "turn rule" is so that people are actually incentivized to win the gamve via combat rather than comboing off
I still can't believe they actually have a horse ass from MLP full art in a card.
>>98417783they found a loophole that allows them to reprint RL cards as surges? i don't get what "errata to basic" has anything to do with reprinting if they're going to have the same name>i'm just humoring you btw, but i've been wrong before
>>98417781He wanted to chew on some tasty unsleeved commons so he sat down and waited.>>98417786Yeah I'm aware. I don't even necessarily think brackets are a good representative of power or game quality. I just felt a bit bad because the players thought their decks were stronger than they were. They also had absolutely 0 interaction (besides the guy who complained who just sandbagged his counterspells so he could tap out and paly his commander?), when a single board wipe would've at least evened out the game state.
>>98417756>In the next two yearsI'll forget this or i'll be dead by that time.

>>98418646No the real kicker was Golos emerging in the window tons of players were forced to leave their sheltered playgroups, and play online against people that had different ideas of what "fun" meant (for most of these players, "fun" meant "winning").There were more egregious commanders even at the time (Kinnan being a good example where he's the same thing but immensely better in exchange for requiring you to put a tiny amount of effort into him, and came out not too long after). It's just that Golos was playable by an ape with brain damage because you could throw him on any slop deck and push his gambling button to do something useful. Even now, there's commanders like Wandering Minstrel that realistically make better commanders than 90% of what I see people actually building. The only reason people don't notice is because the average commander player is atrocious at the game and has no exposure to most play patterns.
>>98419120The issue with Golos is that because he's colorless to cast, you can put him at the head of what is effectively a mono-red burn deck and get all the benefits and zero downsides apart from having all five colors to activate Golos
>>98417907New card? Is there another white opponent did two things card?
>>98419136This is the case with many commanders even right now. You can run Wandering Minstrel as the helm for most decks and get better results because he gives 5c access and takes away the biggest 5c drawback (tapped lands). In exchange you're given the Herculean task of paying simic for this, which I don't think I need to explain is not a real cost for most commander players that already gravitate towards green ramp and blue draw.

>>98417855no thats incorrect. bracket 4 is playing commander. bracket 5 is combo slop. the point is bracket 4 is actual commander with the best cards if a combo pops off eventually, well people do that in bracket 2 even.CEDH is to bracket 5 as S-CDR is to bracket 4. its more than a format specification, its also a mind set (cedh players are like gooners where as S_CDR players are like people trying to play Elder Dragon Highlander)
>>98419282>incorrect, actually my opinion is correctlol ok
>>98417579It's good for white but this is inherently worse than King T'challa or Faerie Mastermind. Drawing a card>a treasure
>>98417749KITTY
>>98417938>brackets are not official rules by any stretch of the imaginationlol yes they are
>>98419177>DetroitOh neat didn't realize they were doing a horror block
>>98418778One of the main reasons WotC unionized was so they could collectively resist when hasbro forces them to make UB Harry Potter, of this I'm sure
>>98419399Could be worseCould be Atlanta
>>98419402that's arena and any troon meltdown is fixed with yet another visit through the omenpaths
>>98418778I'd bet my entire collection that Harry potter never happens. Also the Paramount WB Merger is on hold for up to a year now and may never happen
>>98419420>>98419420>>98419420New thread
>>98419425>that OP picthe furry can't help himself anymore i see
>>98418420Totally disagree. My buddy has a ninja tribal yuriko deck and it's just fine, runs with the lot of them in our 2/3 pods. Kinnan I can't see being any different.
>>98418710I don't know what the question is. Having training grounds out would reduce his abikity to only cost 3. Are you aaking if that's worth it? Cause that depends entirely on how your deck is built.
>>98418898but do you understand that in a 5 color deck using green cards like Farseek or Nature's Lore or even rampant growth is a really good idea?thats why 5c likes to lean into green. Plus green you can stay on brand with Avacyn's Pilgrim in your case note how in 5c deck green also gets all these efficient mana dorks, Pilgrim, Birds, Llanowar, elves of deep shadow etc
