>>98419233Why. Even if it's just a D&D Beyond, why would you do this. VtM is its own tabletop system. What's the point of an official conversion to fucking 5.5e of all things, just go play actual VtM.
>Nu-wod + nu-DnDIs like vomit and horse shit made a couple.
>>98419581>it works for your magic gatherer game, do it again for the dragon dungeon thingt. Some Hasbro suit
calm people.. some player can know about vampire with it. And ghostfire gaming have good designers
>>98419581>Why.It's easier to convert established setting to a system people already know than to get people to learn new dedicated system just for that setting. Especially when that dedicates system has several mutually incompatible versions. And looking at the bigger picture this might be testing water for potentially selling World of Darkness to WotC.Paradox has been holding rights to WoD for a while and repeatedly failed to make it profitable. Vampire 5e didn't really pull over people from older edition. Bloodlines 2 was perhaps less of disaster than initially expected but still far from profitable. Then there's several card games, a board game, some VNs, and assorted other vidya. Not to mention Werewolf and Hunter lines that are also part of WoD package. None of it big enough success to justify hold onto the property, so they're running out of ideas and looking for ways to offload it on somebody else.

>>98419581Because V5 turned out to be a flop, or unable to make up for the money pissed away on Bloodlines 2.There's only really one place where lots of people will actually buy shit: D&D.
