Speed can be achieved trough strength it's an inherent property of strengths drawback of recoil. Newton's third law for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Normally it would just damage your limbs but since you have the durability to take it well then it will launch you and considering your mass stays the same it will launch you very hard at high enough strength it becomes a real problem as you might just launch yourself into space and then your fucked as you have no leverage.
