Trying to figure out a character for a heist-style campaign (not dragon heist, I've run that book fuck that book). Was thinking of going for a demolitions-expert style caster who "makes doors" aka blows holes in the sides of things. Spells like Shatter can double as combat spells, covering my bases.
Evoker Wizard is obvious, but Dimension Door and other teleport spells are Conjuration and Passwall is Transmutation, so maybe I go for those? I'm not sure if there's better options

Man I cannot tell you how cool paladin is. I'm playing one and I used the Find Steed, GM suggested it be a Ki-Rin in form because of the vagueness of the spell in 2024 + the fact I'm playing a Silver Dragonborn Paladin of Bahamut and let me tell you readying Command to stop cultists from their ritual as he has his steed gallop around the corner with him on its back was peak.

I have a guy about to do a Half-Orc Paladin of the Crown. We're playing 2014 but using some spells/etc from 2024, Find Steed among them. He's a 6'9 green giant riding a moose. Roleplay is he's from a very stratified society where your position is set from birth and he hates being a paladin, absolute detests it, but is so dutiful he'd never even consider walking away from it.
