I’m the same way. With all things. I hate sequels to movies and video games, for the most part. It’s rare that I will be able to entertain sequels. I particularly dislike when a completely different person goes and expands on something else. At least get the original creator to do that. It feels off otherwise without that same creative vision. I honestly can't really think of any cyoas with this archetype off the top of my head desu. Maybe Yomi from spirit conscript, or Rebecca from Enaria hero academy? Some of the monster girl encyclopedia ones have stuff like High Orc or Salamander that want to be beaten in a fight. My intention is that literally no one knows I have it or has reason to believe I have it. The drawback concerns the severity of the information not how likely it is to be discovered. The info is going to sit in my encypted datapad for years unused until long into the reign of the empire after the destruction of the Jedi. Official description

I think I originally named this guy Ten/Teronas? The way I see this going is mostly playing off that Rook lost his chip; thus lacking the mental blocks against investigating and thus learning the true purpose of the chips, with the help of Ten the entire squad gets dechipped, and unfortunately 66 happens before the information can be spread to the rest of the forces discreetly enough not to be discovered; Ten and the squad manage to escape the initial slaughter and hide amidst the neutral systems before going out to the outer rim, and hiding as a merc company, with Ten's abilities with blasters and general squad tactics meaning he can effectively hide his Jedi abilities

I capture dark siders, sever their connection to the Force, and show them that the light side is just as powerful as the dark side with none of the insanity. Once they understand this, how can they not convert to the light side? Once they are truly converted, I restore their connection to the Force.

Some Jedi think that I'm inviting wolves into our homes, but my great empathy sees through everything; the dark siders I bring back absolutely have the potential to switch to the light side. Besides, I can kill them at any time if they try anything funny.

Why do this? In the short term, it creates allies loyal to me. In the long term, it undermines the existence of the dark side, so the Force will eventually no longer need to periodically create wars to cull dark siders.

As for the deadly secret, I will inform the Jedi Council of what is necessary and tell them to assassinate Palpatine.

Conversely, the dark side uses negative emotions to tap into the Force and turns you insane. Build is focused on controlling spirits, with my acolyte being a primal spirit of fear and madness tamed to me. Signature technique makes them magnitudes stronger than a normal spirit tamed with spirit acolyte and their power is based on how much aura I can feed them, which is a lot, even a normal spirit acolyte at 15 aura can match angels (the strongest 'base' summon) at combat, now imagine what's essentially a greater spirit baseline at something like 35 aura and technique artistry legend boosting it. Another interesting thing is since summon Techniques can be fused and subjugation counts as a summon rite I could fuse subjugated spirits together and into the acolyte to give it access to other spirits techniques and power.

The plan is simple, exorcise and enslave or befriend and deal with spirits to get more and more influence until I can take on the trigram, enslave those spirits, and then prepare for fighting Yama and Yudi. I'm pretty much playing pokemon with the spirits while also doing my normal cultivation schtick, and doing what I can to help the city. I want to rule this place, but I don't want to make it even more miserable than it already is. I went a bit out of the normal and didn't pick any romances because frankly, none of the romances are perfect for me and lots of them are not to my taste. If I want sex, I can summon succubi, and spirits are all over me, including because of delicacy. I bet I could find tons of spirits willing to be concubines for a taste of my aura, and I will always be on the lookout for someone that fits my taste in women I can romance.

Also, Catai's a pretty interesting option with you being an isekai given they see knowledge of the world and its mysteries as very important. Probably the best place to larp as a wise sage with your otherworldly knowledge.

Some time ago anon spoke of a cyoa of the year. As a year is too long to sort, I have set about this by splitting it into twelve
The winners of each poll (Or the double winner and the winner in the ranking poll) will be entered into a final cyoa of the year poll
Although the main motive for this is to give a moment to reflect and to provide a shortlist for people who can't follow the thread

Most of these were already featured in the contest poll, but I'm still running them, both because I want to be there for people who aren't following the threads and because I still have a slot to decide

It's been a pretty good month, although most of the fun was concentrated in a period of about a week

There's still no dark sider, so the surprise ought to really be that an imperial was built before a dark sider. Although one may say that everyone considered the drawbacks of the dark side and concluded that choosing to be a regular evil person is better than being a dark sider, in which case indeed, it makes sense that an imperial was built before a dark sider. However, this was a character build anyway, so expressing surprise at it could also mean that you just thought that an imperial is a fun idea and didn't consider the practical effects of it, in which case this post's first half is not relevant to your post and overall only serves as a clarification on what you meant, which would still require you to reply to affirm or disaffirm, so one may say that this post is a wasted effort because of the fact that it is longer than yours.

Being a Dark Sider in Starwars is like being a Theistic Satanist. It is a losing idea either way. Actually looking up the cosmology on the Starwars wiki has actually kind of killed my enthusiasm for both the Jedi and the Sith, falling to the dark side is REALLY easy and being a true light sider truly is anti-fun.
