Looks fun as hell but im burned after how bad deusmon is

How many homeros should i run in jupitermon? Or is it more about inori and the agents

Varies from deck style. I play like 3 in pure jupiters (with some o12 toolbox of course)because im a retard who bought a playset. It hasnt felt like a truly dead card.

>I play jupitermon pure so this is def a 1-2 of but I play 0 dan or yuki so lol, ill probably remove an asuna or aoi for the dual tamers.
Honestly I figured Kanan and the Dual Jupitermon would have been enough of a reason to reconsider how the deck is built already.
>>
>>98472886
Im still unsure how many dual jupiters im running in the deck honestly. Ill test it when the set comes out since now i have to make room for like 3 wrath modes and 2-3 extra jupiters. All i know is my wallet hates me since i plan to get 2 AA dual jupiters.

Yellow 3 & 4 and Green 3 & 4 are probably field stuff, maybe WG Tinker and Peter and NSp Morpho?
Giant Slayer probably level 5 or 6 so it has an inherit for Destroy Mode

Post-timeskip Hiroko, Inori's dad and the guy who piloted the Giant Slayer are probably all tamers
I guess a red Chronomon option though as a deck that seems so underbaked

this isn't possible?
how can you evo into a lvl 4 AND play the option on turn 1?
or are you suggesting you go 2nd, your opponent gives you 3, you pass back 2, and then they do nothing so you get an empty board to do this into?

What could even WG deck get that is good for it? It seems everything except level 6 needs change.

>>
>>98473546
Woodmon, Kiwimon and Parasaurmon are fine since they're utility pieces you're meant to play out like how you use the level 4s in SW or TB. Want one of those new spiffy 'play or use with reduced cost' level 4s

Another level 3 searcher, preferably on moving that hits vegetation or WG

Deramon and Cherrymon are meh since they don't do much on their own, Toropiamon has potential since it can evo for free when you suspend your own digimon by effect, would want a level 5 dna that can play out stuff with reduced cost from hand and ladder into a level 6. Blue/Red avian in trait preferably

New level 6 with similar effects to WG Gryphomon, attacks on evolve and unsuspends itself when it wins a battle.

New level 7 because Cernumon isn't that good of a boss monster, it's only good as spot removal.

Win a battle effects and protection so you can more reliably swing into bodies

A good tamer that either helps you go wide or gain more from winning battles

I'm new, migrating from yugioh, game feels a bit overwhelming but i'm finally grasping the mechanics a little. mostly playing on DCGO, will consider going physical once i can firmly say i like the game.
I'm trying to play a justimon deck but i'm having a hard time, this is something i netdecked and then made changes too based on replays.
my main issues are:
-i take way too long to actually put justimon on the field. usually what i go for is turn 1 evolve egg to level 4, turn 3 evolve the level 4 to level 5 cydramon and pray it survives, turn 6 evolve it into justimon and hope that's good enough.
i feel like this is too slow.
gameplan is supposed to be putting up digi devices and then trashing them but i never have enouhg memory to both summon justimon and get some tamers/option cards up, so i just trash my opponents options instead.

-i struggle with memory management and get memory choked very easily.
meanwhile when i try to memory choke back and leave my opponent with just memory they still do these insane combos that end on a big fuck you digimon with very little cost.

is this just because my deck is bad/old or are there somethings i'm just doing wrong fundamentally.
>>
>>98474065
>leave my opponent with just *one or two memory
>>
>>98474065
Archetype is old and isn't well supported, it takes longer to set up explosive plays due to how it works.

You're missing trainings which help you make cheaper plays/boost consistency

Try playing either Beat Break or Data Squad decks since they're based around irl starter decks with a few upgrades from BT25 and the upcoming BT26.

Alternatively you could try playing a monocolour Liberator deck: Zephagamon, Medusamon, Puppet Sisters, Pyramidimon. They're all easy to learn decks that are still quite good.

If you're interested in Digimon Tamers' decks, Renamon and Guilmon decks are decent, Guilmon has a few different builds based around different top ends and tamer counts so ymmv.
>>
>>98474118
Damn, my mindset going into this was looking for a digimon i really like, seeing if they have a deck, and building that.
I might look into a guillmon deck i guess, but for reference some of my favourite digimon are :
Beelzemon, Grandrakmon and Jessmon.
>>
>>98474141
Beelzemon has a decent deck thats getting more support in EX14 next year. Not beginner friendly though since the deck is all about making the most of your self mills. Has a counterpart in the form of Heavymetaldramon who I also wouldn't recommend for beginners because the gimmick is that you destroy your hand in return for recurring from trash.

Grandracmon is in a similar boat as Justimon, it has an archetype that isn't as well supported. The best pieces of support it had, the dark animal engine from EX5 got hit hard too.

Jesmon has a decent deck he shares with Gankoomon where you focus on laddering up quick, hitting hard and then sitting back with a wide and effect immune wall. Also not as beginner friendly since you need to know when to vomit out your pieces. It's getting support in EX13
>>
>>98474192
alright, i'll look into a guillmon deck to help me learn the fundies better and then learn jessman once i feel my grasp is good enough

The most sex a girl can be.
>>
>>98473736
I know it would be useless since there would be like 3 cards for it, but weird they didnt make a D-sat trait considering ADAMAS is a thing
>>
>>98474551
D-Sat doesn't use Digimon, even the DLC featured around Captain Kuremi has the guy fighting Omnimon with just a gun
>>
>>98474065
try using justimon as a top end in a different deck - DM vademon or liberator Invisimon

you will do better learning to play the game with a stronger deck. Beatbreak is a good deck to start with imo

>>98474192
i dont think a yugioh player is going to struggle with self milling. They are gonna struggle with the mana gauge. Looking at the posted Monodramon>Justi list how much memory support does it have? Very little. 2 scrambles - no training, no mem boost.
>>
>>98474065
I'm gonna be honest if your escaping Yugioh to this you might want to just move to magic or Pokemon. Digimon is starting to show signs of Yugioh style power creep where turns usually end by 2.
>>
>>98474816
not that anon but please tell me it ain't so
>>
>>98474869
Nah hes a fibber its turn 0 kill now
>>
>>98474869
No set rotation so old decks that don't get support fade away and even if they do they are still no where competitive to the new shit thats coming out, too reliant on archetype support, way to many cards that make memory irrelevant beyond the first turn, releasing digimon that are not effected by other digimon so they have to release even more broken digimon effects to get around them as option cards focused on removing digimon are too costly to just flat out use unless they are dual type digimon.

Honestly in its early days it was a cool game but at the end its falling into the same trap Yugioh did and its mostly because they refuse to do set rotations like any normal card game does.

>set rotations like any normal card game does.
Set rotation is only good for selling more product, it isn't good for the customer, at all, ever.
You are just announcing you are retarded to everyone by saying this.

Even the best example of set rotation, pokemon, which uses it to introduce and remove mechanics, having them effectively seasonally (especially because many of them require tracking extra bullshit and their own unique restrictions which don't interact with others) isn't even restricted to doing it this way and it would not be difficult in the slightest to limit each other.
And this is nothing to compare to games that just do it very badly and its purely obviously just to sell more cards.
>>
>>98476835
>Set rotation is only good for selling more product, it isn't good for the customer, at all, ever.
Let's not pretend any TCG is remotely consumer-friendly. It's all a racket, none of the value is real, it's all just cardboard, and they always want us to buy more. Doesn't matter if it's Bandai or WotC or Nintendo or anyone else.

>>
Been messing around with Ver.4 since TB Kaguyamon stole and improved on Titamon
Bloom is really fun. With two out (super easy to do) you're dishing out Cendrillmon-level -DP, and with Tanemon, Nanimon and Analog Youth there's some great flexibility with you manipulate around end of turn. Training Manual is good but I think the other versions will benefit from it more.
Struggles with immune bodies but Alliance (usually x2) + Raid helps. Wish there was Guard in DM
>>
>>98476835
>Set rotation is only good for selling more product
I quit vanguard because of that. If they did it with digimon like some retards were hoping for when blocks first happened I wouldve quit on the spot.
>>
If i evolve jupitermon/baccusmon/ceresmon into WM/DM/M, does it activate both cards when evolving. Or does succession only activate after the evolution timing?
>>
>>98477359
You imagine all the text of the card is on the top card too and activate all of them in whatever order you want
>>
>>98477114
No one is pretending that is why more desirable cards are printed.
But set rotation is a negative for players, its enforcement to buy new cards, they are say you must if you want to keep playing at anything but self organized private games.
>>
>>98477305
yeah if they added set rotation I would immediately stop playing
its straight up magic players leaving magic because they realize magic is awful and the choices its made are awful but then try to turn everything into magic
not even trying to do something interesting or beneficial with rotation, just slurping corporate cock, suggesting more predatory sales tactics are good and for the best, its peak delusion
>>
>>98475085
It is kinda the best selling digimon in ages, possibly ever.
>>
>>98477475
Yes but TS not having a gimmick (besides, I guess, "if you have 4 or less memory") makes it a terrible archetype to keep getting support. The cards it has can already do basically anything
>>
Retards don't understand why players want rotation and make stupud arguments. Digimon players were asking for rotation in bt9 because the game stopped being digimon. It became yugioh light and they wanted to rotate out all the otk shit and get back to a game where players interacted. Yugioh kids think the current game is fun because they get to play combo deck vs combo deck and their opponents have no way to interact to prevent it.

Rotation stops power creep warping your game into something different. We could have had 2 years of otk then otk removed from the game. And instead we just have faster and cheaper otks every set. And complaining you have to buy new cards is stupid when digimon power creep rips up decks every 6 months. And some times its even less than that. So not rotating does nothing because you either buy a TS power level deck or you don't get to play the game. Which is exactly what rotation is, except more honest about how viable your deck actually is.
>>
>Rotation stops power creep warping your game into something different.
lol
lmao
>>
>>98477782
>Retards
That's you
You are also a coward for being too scared to quote who you are talking to and think that others can't see your cowardice because you are scared it doesn't stand on its own, it doesn't, because you are a retard.

>Rotation stops power creep warping your game into something different
No it doesn't.
I am sure with your experience in magic you can see this isn't the case, but again, too retarded to realize 1+1=2

>instead we just have faster and cheaper otks every set
No, we don't.
Mirage could you kill you just as quickly with its otk in bt13
Red hybrid has been able to do it just as quickly for many many sets on a high roll
Leviamon could do it in ex5 and control the board far better and climb just as efficiently as any current day deck
The game has not gotten faster nor cheaper to climb in... well its been 21 sets since ex5
Has there been outliers? Yeah, and do you know what happened to them? They got banned, because they were outliers beyond where the game is at. The only deck that can kill any quicker than them right now is angels on a huge high roll, and angels is very likely to get restricted solely because of this capability. Despite how inconsistent it is.

The major power creep in the game has been the safety of checking security.
You can see that starting in bt14, with alliance being given to looga, barrier being introduced in bt15, jamming being given as a generic blue inheritable and devalued (bt15 betamon, bt16 gaogamon, etc), and many other methods to more safely attack into security.
Not to mention the increase in the amount of security trashed vs checked
But do you know what has happened in more recent sets? They have scaled back on this because they realized its a problem
3m is the only tier 1 or tier 2 deck that can consistently trash a lot of security and its very risky to check security on its, so it has a real trade off, all the others check almost all your security and often need to risk it or pay costs (gd barrier)
>>
>>98477782
>>98477868
So even the biggest offensive power creep the game had when otk decks were a fucking joke because of how easy it was to stop an otk has been reigned in

>We could have had 2 years of otk then otk removed from the game
We have never had 2 years of otk?
We had like 6-8 months of otk meta solely because of hudiemon and guil rush back to back
The meta before that was fucking royal knights being the centralizing deck? You either had to go faster than them or out grind them and it was exclusively a board control meta
Medievalgallantmon hasn't been power crept, he isn't a weak card, and he wasn't significantly stronger than other cards in his time, but he was incredibly good in the meta at that time due to the fact that board control was so important and building big resilient boards was so important

Even before that when gallantmon was the centralizing deck it was the ONLY deck that could otk in the meta and it rarely went for the otk, not to mention that despite being the centralizing deck it was not the most represented.
and it wasn't an otk meta before that
That was fucking numemon and magnamon meta, magnamon centralized the meta, numemon beat magna and beat anything else trying to beat manga, if you could beat nume, you lost to magna, so magna came out on top, yellow vaccine got hit for being the strongest (but incredibly difficult and inconsistent, and would have been by far the strongest without numemon there) to pilot deck, numemon got hit for its strength.

Do you want to go further back even more? Because it wasn't fucking meta to otk

It isn't meta to otk now

3m can otk, but it needs immense setup or being given ludicrous memory to do so, its normally trashes your security over multiple turns
gd can otk, and does otk in some match ups, but its main game plan isn't otk and usually doesn't
tb doesn't otk
ts toolbox doesn't otk
what otk deck are you even talking about? otk isn't meta

You don't even know anything about the game
>>
I just want to play Sakuyamon and be happy.

>>98477923

>>98477868
There is nothing funnier than seeing someone writing and essay and being wrong on every single point. You belong on discord with the other speds.

The game has lost half of its player base since bt9. Its still bleeding players.

The speed of current decks is faster due to the amount of freebies. Every deck has to otk to be viable. If it can't you can't run it as you just set your opponent up.

Gao was not faster than the current decks. None of them were because they had to pay to evo. Trainings or mem boosts or you you got nothing.

Garuru 9 was safe as fuck. They give dp boosts out the ass so only options mattered and options dont any more because of progress.

It's been an otk game since bt9. With defensive power creep for 3 months then back to otk. While otk was still played constantly.

TS doesn't otk? Fucking retard. Yugioh players are stinky little vermin everyone hates. Digimon has lost its playerbase except for yugioh stinkers who are unable to play a tcg with player interaction. So the only ones defending it any more are little thieving faggots like yourself. Its sad what this game has become and the bottom feeders who still defend it. Play a real game and stop thinking youre anything but king retard because you watched a youtube video on a combo deck and can copy it while your opponent does nothing.
>>
>>98478137
>The game has lost half of its player base since bt9. Its still bleeding players.
That happens to almost every card game. Look at how hard Magic is trying to retain players.

>The speed of current decks is faster due to the amount of freebies. Every deck has to otk to be viable. If it can't you can't run it as you just set your opponent up.
All games speed up over time. Every game gets faster, gets ways to ignore its main resource mechanic, lets you cheat cards into lay, etc... Most card games end up becoming Yugioh if they go on for long enough.

>It's been an otk game since bt9. With defensive power creep for 3 months then back to otk. While otk was still played constantly.
There is literally nothing wrong with OTKs in this game. You have to set up for them. It's not like Yugioh where you can FTK people if they didn't open interaction or OTK people through boards.
>>
>>98478198
OTKs should never exist in any game.
You can otk turn 1 with no set up in this game you dumb fuck.

Yugioh spergs never play the game. They don't know shit about it. They will outright lie from ignorance or stupidity. Then tell you thr game is fine as it gets completely replaced by Gundam and One Piece. Because they had a mildly successful jrpg release making record profits for a series that shits the bed as soon as it gets a crumb of success.

Don't bother replying. You will just be wrong as usual.

>>98478234
>You can otk turn 1 with no set up in this game you dumb fuck.

>TS doesn't otk? Fucking retard
yeah
TS toolbox doesn't OTK
there is a TS OTK deck, that isn't what I said nor I claimed, its not a good deck, its no where near meta, and its incredibly inconsistent
You can and have been able to play greymon otk for years, its never been good, its never been close to meta, do you just dislike combo decks existing?

otk has basically never been a meta strategy outside of a few decks for a couple months at most

>Yugioh schizoing
I never played yugioh beyond playing it as a kid in the schoolyard, for like maybe a year or so
by the time the GX anime was a thing I hadn't played yugioh in a long time

So your schizo posting doesn't apply to me, I am not a yugioh player?

>unable to play a tcg with player interaction
That's yugioh tho?
Or are u trying to say that is magic, because magic players love calling a very specific niche thing "interaction" despite trying to play the most uninteractive game possible.
instant speed spells exist in other games too, they aren't unique to magic, so do instant speed abilities. That isn't unique to magic.

>Play a real game
As I pointed out in your first post
You are a retarded magic player who leaves magic because its fucking awful dogshit but all you want to do is try to turn everything into magic despite that being the exact thing you don't like, all the stuff you think are good ideas are the exact reasons magic is the way it is.
So keep sucking that corporate cock and wanting set rotation.

So if you don't like digimon, what exactly are you doing here in this thread?
Crying that digimon is doing fine and that set magic is dying because set rotation is fucking retarded and no one wants to play with ur faggoty crossover cards?

You can OTK with any deck by simply eating your opponents cards and calling a judge over, he will have to check their deck, including all their security cards

I always summon my stand right before I lose to take one of their cards and hide it, call over a judge, and boom, true combo otk.

>But set rotation is a negative for players, its enforcement to buy new cards, they are say you must if you want to keep playing at anything but self organized private games.

This has been by far the most retarded answer ever.

You have to buy cards regardless, old decks cannot compete with the newer shit coming out and without a set rotation cards just get more powerful so they can have people continue to buy shit.

The only difference is the major spike in power creep. Normal set rotations will and forever have power creep regardless but its small potatoes to the power creep you get when you just absolutely refuse to do set rotations.

I hope you guys enjoy Yugioh because this is what your going to get in the next few years when games end by turn 1 or 2.

Magic the Gathering and Pokemon are both case studies that show this isn't the case, powercreep is just in TCGs is actually just feature creep because the game devs need to keep making cards that either feel distinct.
>>
>>98480851
either feel distinct or new*
>>
>>98480851
Power creep is a given regardless of any game, but with set rotations you limit that creep by a huge margin as new cards don't have to compete with old cards in power wise. While games with no set rotations have to continue selling new cards relying on more and more cards with better power in each new set.

Regardless of whether you support Set Restrictions or not your still having to pay money to compete in newer sets. Its just do you want your game to be an over bloated rules mess thats like Yugioh because people are zealously saying that Set Restrictions is bad?
>>
>>98480956
You don't limit that power creep at all, you just make it so that you don't have to worry about older cards when it comes to balancing future sets. You still have to compete with older cards because you can't just recycle effects and call it a day, that's why we still get reprints and new mechanics in games with set rotation.

Magic and Pokemon feature lots of power creep too, the earth bending mechanic is a good example.

Wan Piss, another Bandai TCG, also has set rotation and it still has power creep.

Rotation only makes powercreep 10x worse because then the business strategy involves making each set more powercrept than the last so players are forced to buy it.

Rotation means power creep is optional and you can get rid of bad mechanics and replace them with more fair ones. Instead we have DNA repeatedly breaking the game because it was never designed for multiple loops and free level 4s.

Magic is 30 years old now. Rotation kept it balsnced until the designers decided to copy japanese card design and power creep it to death. Its a good example of rotation working. If you can go 20 years until FIRE fucks it up you did something right.

Or you can wait for bandai to ban a card in 6 months time when its already power crept and unusuable.

T.quit 3 years ago due to reasons + don't mind powercreep
>>

Because it's ass

Because it means certain consistency boosters are now weakened if you choose to run the Tinkermon since it's YELLOW

This is a problem because we only have a single in archetype searcher(Floramon), our only source of draw power is the Yokomon egg and Kiwimon. Peter being half green is good, Tinker should've been green or blue.

Outside of in archetype stuff we have Giant Meat which I can't complain about other than being the harbinger of Bandai fucking us colour wise.

We're going to get more support hopefully, not this set obviously but I seriously don't want to be left hanging like this. This is ass.

Rotation worked REALLY well at keeping power creep in check in magic for YEARS. The reason why it's gotten out of hand in that game is because they basically just stopped giving a shit a bit over 10 years ago. It's a bit more complicated than that, but the long and short of it is that Wizards (Due to edicts from above) stopped giving a shit about keep power creep in check, which ended up having a series of cascading effects that only made power creep worse and worse.
>>
>>98482027
magic does give a shit. they give a shit about not being a wholesome place for people who aren't on the media plantation to congregate. They hire Zoe Quinn on purpose to destroy this game, and every MagicCon panel has a loud nigger announcer. They do this shit on purpose. You are not allowed to read your bible, talk to people at the card shop and go on your merry way. You must engage with mass pop culture now. They are killing the game on purpose. wtf is that fantasticar card. 3 mana for 20 power all 20 of which flies 16 of which have haste. They are killing the game on purpose.

>Complaining about infect
Tell me you don't actually know anything without actually telling me.
But as an aside, none of those mechanics actually saw a single card with them get banned in standard during the few year span where they were all came out. And as an aside, part of the way rotation was supposed to work is that if a set proved too powerful, they could dial back the power level in a later set in a number of different ways (One of the most common being restricting access to good color fixing) The more limited card pool also tended to help keep cards that were banworthy in eternal formats from being too strong in standard since they didn't have as much good stuff to synergize/combo with. MTG's powercreep issue only started to get out of hand when they reoriented their card and set design philosophy at around the same time they started fucking with how standard worked. And it got REALLY out of hand after they very thoroughly killed standard and the non-rotating EDH became more or less the default way to play the game.

>keep having to restrict cards
imagine trying to use this as a point when magic has both rotation AND needs to restrict and ban cards
rotation doesn't really help there, now does it? lmao
rotation clearly doesn't stop them needing to ban certain cards if cards still need to be banned, now does it?

In fact, magic standard banlist is bigger than digimons entire ban list, sure seems like maybe rotation is irrelevant to this if they need to ban more cards than digimon despite having less years of cards and having rotation
>>
>>98482319
Again, it's because they literally stopped giving a shit about their own rules and solely care about extracting as much money from their player base as possible before the game inevitably dies. They managed to keep power creep under control for like, 2 decades with set rotation, so rotation obviously CAN work.
>>
>>98482318
Being bad design does not equal power crept. Some cards can be badly designed but not power creep, some cards can be power creep but not bad design. They're entirely unrelated.
And again, you're more or less just proving my point about you not knowing shit since of the 5 things you mentioned in that post, only two either are or were prominent decks in eternal formats, and storm's rather infamously one of the most difficult decks to actually play successfully. And you're bitching about counterspells.

>>
Set rotation only works if you don't actually support alternate formats.
>>
you cannot have set rotation without those who produce the game to powercreep each set because they NEED to make money and they NEED for product to sell

>>98482406
>the problem with digica is that they make way too many fucking sets a year
This is the real problem. We get a set like every 2 months.
>>
>>98482374
I had an image I can't get to load cause it's too big, but basically, for the span between '95 and '16, they banned a bit over one card each year, with most of the bans being concentrated in two years and the majority of that 21 year span having zero cards banned.
Then they went full retard and stopped giving a shit and had a 4 year streak where they banned almost as many cards as the preceeding 21 years combined.
>>
>>98482406
Having an EX set between every main set has been a disaster
and then with LM boxes on top its like okay holy shit slow the fuck down

I get why it happened with liberator as they were trying to run it in the background and needed consistent releases for it and splashed in cards from it all over the place
especially with the world convergence where JP had slowed down sets prior to that to help everything sync up and then everyone got accelerated sets for like a year because they had clearly not stopped designing new cards, just releasing them, and it has slowed down slightly since then, we legitimately got a new set every month for a little bit. I wish it would slow down just a little bit more though.

3 ex sets a year is just too fucking many though
especially when its 2 starter deck sets released a year (either a pair of regular or an advanced)
and LM on top
and then other stuff like ad01

this year we are going to have/have had

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
>>
>>98482580
This being very easily used 3 times in one turn is hilarious. Get your giant meat out early if your opponent leaves a rookie out:
1. Digivolve to Symbare, play rookie, kill a small body, Digivolve the rookie
2. DNA the two champions to Angewomon, Digivolve to Eldradimon mid attack and play something. When ElDradi wins the battle, Digivolve the played thing to Diarbbit/any ace
3. EoYT DNA to Tlaloc, attack off Motion and play two more bodies
When tlaloc wins the battle, Digivolve one of the bodies
>>
>>98482636
Having that many bodies and none of them having a way to stop that seems pretty unlikely. Not to mention the chance of whiffing on ElDoradimon
>>
>>98482698
"Win a battle" effects are with security or a Digimon. This combo only requires your opponent having a rookie in play.
If you're worried about whiffing with ElDradi, play a level 5 to trigger Angewomon's attack
>>
>>98482710
>This combo only requires your opponent having a rookie in play.
And not have a blocker with at least 6000 DP to kill Symbare (9000 if you have the field Option and the largest NSp rookie, Otamamon). Or their rookie has Retaliation. Or they have a Digimon effect that triggers at any point in your combo that lets them remove one of your bodies (including Counters, you get fucked hard by Counters). Or your Security check hits an Option or Tamer. Or it hits something bigger in Security; just because you can use Barrier or Jamming inherits to survive, doesn't mean you won the battle. Or, after all that work, your opponent slams Susanoomon and wipes your board, swings with Execute, and vomits out a bunch of level 4s and a Sanmyojin.

Is it a slayer who is giant, or something that slays giants?
>>
>>98488044
>Has both Iliad and Titan but can only Digivolve from red or black level 6s (and Cherubimon) I don't expect you'd use it in either anyway
There are a decent number of other red or black TS level 6s, including Plutomon and BT25 Titamon for Titans, and all the Tamers that can bottomdeck themselves including the extremely popular BT24 Hiroko and Asuna could let you repeatedly use Destroy Mode's last effect even if your deck doesn't revolve around bottomdecking your shit like Chronomon.dek does. You probably shouldn't run it, but like you COULD.

...does returning cards to deck bottom from your searchers also count as "add[ing] to decks?" They all use the same language as the aforementioned Tamers.
>>
>>98488024
Riddle me this batman, if it targets 3 Digimon with less then 5 stacks does it return the whole digimon?
>>
>>98487980
>Completely useless
I mean... I doubt you will find a way to pay for it and not die
but glowing dawn does often play by effect

no epulsing a 4 from trash
no playing out a 3 to setup your alliance from your 5

its not a good card vs glowing dawn, but it can fuck up their combos if it gets chipped in security or something
>>
>>98488101
>does returning cards to deck bottom from your searchers also count as "add[ing] to decks?" They all use the same language as the aforementioned Tamers.
No. When you "reveal" from your deck they dont leave it unless you put it anywhere else like hamd or trash
>>98488102
Yes
>>
>>98488116
They digivolve by effect. They play tamers and Options by effect.
>>
>>98488122
They do play by effect as well
Have you never vs'd glowing dawn? or played glowing dawn?

Because you clearly haven't read the cards.
>>
>>98488102
No, its better dedigivolve.
Doesn't stop at lvl 3's, but you can't choose how many you dedigi (always do the full amount)

its just dedigi 5 to 3 stacks
>>
>>98488164
I actually have Glowing Dawn but I never really use Epulse to hard play digimon unless I have to. I use it to play Tamers.
>>
>>98488184
outside of turn 1 or 2
you basically only use it to play a digimon from trash, its one of the major sources of trash recursion
>>
>>98488219
If your not winning by turn 4 or 5 you've already lost.
>>
>>98488224
>If your not winning by turn 4 or 5 you've already lost.
Spoken like a true loser. If you're not winning by turn 1 you've already lost.
>>
>>98488224
GD has an incredibly strong grind game?
its absolutely not on a clock, wtf are u talking about?
tamers get more value the longer the game goes, not less
having access to rush and big damage rush combos also gets more and more valuable
not to mention the recovery and how many effects recur their effects if left around (atratus and habakiri namely) makes long games incredibly beneficial for the GD player

so idk wtf ur talking about

unless you mean literally if you are not ahead of the opponent you just scoop, which, lmao, then ur a fucking retard
so idk if you meant this post to admit that you have no idea what the deck you allegedly play does or if you just admitting you are retarded, but both are pretty bad answers
>>
>>98486935
Why is this just a rare?
>>
>>98488024
Was the beak part of its design before?
>>
>>98488353
Kinda. It was clearly beak-like originally but a lot of the details of its design were changed for the boss version in Time Stranger because of how it's fused with Giant Slayer and not Chronomon's original body.
>>
>>98488024
>reverse powercreep keyword dedigivolve
kek
>>
>>98487110
>>98486935
Unironically shows the design better and more than in-game too, actually looks menacing in an artstyle.
>>
>>98488367
>>98488024
I really did like CS and TS and the Chronomon DM design, but fuck do I wish his blue meat part wasn't the checkerboard ambiguous slop from the Mother Eater line.
>>
>>98485129
action economy is a valid concept to apply to this game even if its not multiplayer.

>>98488024
i am afraid of this succession keyword. scariest keyword they ever printed
>>
I hope we get a paladin mode with succession in chivalrous 13
>>
>>98488907
>play soulful deck
>matchmake timeslop or combat weebs
>play tryhard deck
>matchmake into soul
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
>>
>>98488325
nta but GD toughest matchup is itself between bricking and putting all the cards you were hoping to draw under your tamers desu.
>>
>>98490090
lmao I 100% agree
its actually why I don't play it for serious events

I got 5th at a regional with adventure last year and I played a bunch of vademon DM casually.

legitimately after dealing with tamer reliant decks bricking and dealing with DM card tucking bullshit, I saw GD, saw it was a deck really for me that I would really like, but also saw that I could not handle more of this if I played it competitively.
Need to made of sterner stuff to seriously play GD, its crazy

>all my me shit came in today for vb and me

Okay how does vb play? I wont be able to playtest for a while but if it is as fun as me than ill be happy.

It's Omnimon Turbo but with a little more flexibility in how you get there.

The Giant Robot he posses in the story and uses against the protags?
>>
dw2 set when

HURRY UP
>>
>>98494010
After Survive set (never)
>>
If i have giant slayer with holy mode in sources, and with collision it destroys something with retaliation. The retaliation evolves it into destroy mode, who gains holy modes piercing with succession. Does it check security?
>>
>>98496498
Succession would need Holy Mode to be Destroy Mode's topmost inherit.
>>
>>98496590
Succession doesn't need to referenced card to be the topmost card, it gains effects from the specified digimon that's the topmost in its stack.
>>
>>98493288
>>It's Omnimon Turbo
omni doesnt look that great in this honestly. War and emtalgaruru looks like the meat of it. Than again i didnt play the deck yet so im just talking out my ass.
>>
I just realized chronomon destroy mode doesn't trash when it "dedigivovles", it puts them to the top of the deck
so anything that prevents cards from being trashed is ineffective, because it isn't trashing them, its putting them on the deck
so stuff like maquinamon with unchained? yeah doesn't give a fuck, I am not trashing, you still get dedigivolved 5
>>

Chrono Devolution!

If we get a cardmon in the game it's going to be the Appmon
>>
>>98497955
We can get both, see Huckmon/Hackmon and Lighdramon/Raidramon.
>>
>>98497009
Yes, it's why Aegiochusmon Holy has a unique effect
>>
>>98497270
Light Fang and Night Claw should have never been Gracenova in the first place (and the way the deck played, arguably it wasn't)

When are we getting new Onmyojutsu cards?

TOO SOON
