Describe monsters with real-life lore

Giant spiders are honestly very misunderstood. Insects with Tracheae, six legs and mandibles are so much more efficient on the micro scale that they outcompeted arachnids from all the herbivore and detritovore niches, effectively forcing them to either become predators or grow giant, and then dinos and mammals displaced them from all the mid-sized niches too. Sure they're dangerous if you wander by a tree or burrow they're nesting in, but they're slower runners than people in a straight line and only lunge because they're dumb as rocks and virtually blind. You're more likely to be kicked to death by your own horse
>>98539261Heyyyy, I made that post!
>>98540656make another please, it was a good one
>>98539261what game?
>>98541849Fuck off, faggot.
I don't understand the purpose of this thread
>>98541868>oh hey it’s cool this reply talked about ogres like they were real>I think I should start a thread about that because it’d be cool if other monsters got the same treatment
>>98546446we don't polycotton to you "creative" types around here now git before you taste the pain
>>98546446what game are you using this in?
>>98546446Am I fucking crazy? Any description of a fictional creature is a description as if it were real, that's what fiction is. I guess you could be talking about the history of the folklore or something, but that's not the default at all, you don't make a thread specifying not to do that.
Traditional games?
