There will be some instances where avoiding negative archetypes means one might as well not go to the LGS. It can get that bad.Smelly fat neckbeards are the biggest group in size and how common they are to be encountered. But there are more and crossover of different groups.For many of those it depends on behaviors but smelling really bad is the big one to avoid them for the sake of your sanity even if they are a nice guy as in actually polite person instead of the nice guy syndrome meaning.

The problem is that you've got a boatload of disingenuous threads started with a simple question/premise that people are using for engagement baiting. The Puckeeslop threads are a perfect example of this, because at the end of the day if the thread is 'successful' by whatever metric is chosen this can then be used to create slop content on youtube/instagram/whatever. So then you've got the 'Traditional Games?/Post Models/howdidthisaffectyourlastgame etc responses because a lot of the OP's are either not actually people, or they're slopfarmers. The issue is when genuine questions/anons get caught in the crossfire which sucks. Because then people get a negative feedback loop and the enshittification of /tg/ continues.
