>oWoD dead>nuWoD dead>5E WoD died on the crib>White Wolf dead and bankrupt>Even the highly anticipated new VtM game tankedIs this IP defunct?
>he doesn't play Jyhad
WoD 6e in the makingand there's like a dozen vidya (mostly VNs)
>Is this IP defunct?it has been for 20 years. you need to wait for indie new darlings.
>>98576782At this point a spiritual successor is in order.>>98577627Most indie are pretty terrible. It’s a sea of the same stuff again and again that something that is actually good is a Diamond exception.
>>98578336>At this point a spiritual successor is in order.Curseborne tried to be that, with limited success.
>>98578336>At this point a spiritual successor is in order.Curseborne is explicitly that. Believe it or not, it's also dead.
>>98576782in a way I want vtm V6 to attract the Stanger Things D&D crowd and the system is designed for just that. more people playing VTM is a good thing, you can introduce them to better editions later. if VTM stays popular we can get more VTM video games
>>98576782This IP has simply just already ran its course with the end of origimal WoD. They've produced a fucking mountain of top tier content in the 90s and early 00s, which is still available and played. They understandably want to keep the ball going, but the truth is they're just not going to surpass it no matter how hard they try. They should just finally stop trying to reinvent the wheel, reprint the older books and maybe try with some new IPs for once
>>98581268The DnD crowds isnt gonna be moving onto V6 anon....
>>98578504>>98578518curseborne failed because it was made by retards
>>98578504>>98578518Curseborne failed because it's dogshit.
>>98576782OWoD is not dead, its the only thing still going. The problem is that everyone tries to change a perfect product. But yes, new content will be dead on arrival as long as they try to "fix" WoD for the nonexistant "Modern Audience.
