You will also slowly turn into a monster/part of the god you are using the forms of and after a certain treshold you are declared a target for execution. So technically you can be immortal, but it puts a massive target on your back and possibly results in identity death.The identity death issue can be solved by either going with the safe choice of Aria, since that doesn't turn into a monster, or attempt the big gamble, take Eclectic and ascend into an independent god. The target issue can't really be solved unless you change the laws of the world, so either live on the run, isolated, or stage a revolution.

But with eclectic you don't take in divinity from just one god but all of them, balancing it out and turning it into neutral divinity, which you may learn to shape with time maybe even making your own form. Or, you know, you go mad because of all the conflicting energies in you, equally as likely. That's why it's a gamble, a very dangerous one.

The adaptation doesn't have to take the form of superhuman strength and speed it could also be survival and stealth based (Zombies that tunnel underground, zombies that camouflage, zombies that fly, etc...). This will make the apocalypse extremely hellish at first but become gradually more manageable as humans become more scattered and weak.
