>TT religions>>98594273This is from the setting with the 8 halfling gods where each god represents one of the seven deadly sins and its associated heavenly virtue, plus one god which represents death and growth. They preach that it is human to have these sins but denying your sins does not make you virtuous. You must learn to accept you have these faults and to live in the middle because you cannot live without them. So each god has both angelic beings and demons, deva's and devils. At the absolute furthest end are the most disasterous beings, the Preven who represent the perfection of unattainable virtue, and the Neget which represent the purity of unfettered sin.Start with a Preven and Neget of Unna. The goddess of Chastity and Lust. Goddess of a curiosity, learning, secrets, and knowledge. The Preven punishes you for daring to change yourself or others. You are perfect as you are, even thinking a question is the sin of trying to learn the unknown. The Neget punishes you for not having it all. Everything must be known, everything must be understood, but there is no right answer because there is always another question you could ask.
>▶ Thread Task: Tell us about the religions of your world and how worship is handled. Or just keep posting monks.Monks.Yeah there's no way I can go back to Bing. Chatgpt rocks.
these guys religion appears to include sacrificing maidens to their gods. Unless of course, a hero (or a heroine) comes around to safe in at the last moment.
>>98594455The god of Charity and Greed. He asks that you save when necessary but use what you have. A saved coin does exactly as much as having no coin at all, nothing. It's only in the usage of something saved that is has value. The Preven punishes you for not making use of everything you have at every opportunity. You could be using the grain you're saving to make bread to feed those in need. You could be helping someone move their crops to market with your cart. You could be buying the materials to build that bridge and pay the workers to do so. You could be...The Neget punishes you for not holding it all. Why don't you wear a dozen rings on each finger? Why don't you have chests filled with preserved meat? Why don't you...

Function is more important than perfection, but the Preven demands perfect. If there is a single flaw it must be corrected, immediately. If any could criticize the work, it must be fixed. It must be beautiful, functional, and without equal. No rest can be afforded while there is work to be done. You could just do it tomorrow though. It's not like anyone cares, says the Neget. It's good enough. evry1 gets it. someone else cn do it. why even fini

Indulge and it feeds itself only wanting more. Yua asks only that you know when to say I have enough, I am content. The Preven hates excess. You shall eat only whats needed, drink only enough to survive, love twice, and find no joy as it's not needed to live. Faith shall be your only sustenance. The Neget is unbridled hedonism. Stab our neighbor because you want to, drink the city dry, burn down city hall because they said no, or fuck and suck until you can't move. Nothing can stop your desires.

Katherine!A few days after leaving poor Julian behind, Katherine located a new ship to bear her on her journey. The Sovereign's Wake was a 400ton Subsidized merchant with luxury appointments to which she was much more accustomed. The ship plied the Spinward Main between Lunion and Mora, then back again in a never-ending circuit, offering a luxury passage to any world in between, and cargo ferriage to all ports of call. Katherine had found five tons of advanced cybernetics and thirty tons of anti-gravity utility vehicles that she hoped to sell them at Duale, a world with two dictatorships vying for control of the planet.>I had a hell of a time getting the ship close to correct. I had to coax edits out of GPT, and even did some hand edits and loaded them back up to show GPT what to do, and it's still not quite right. Close enough, though
Katherine met Captain Allister Vance, a gentleman of a well-preserved sixty. She was scheduled to be on the ship for three and a months until they reached Lunion, and she was happy to have a handsome gentleman on board, even if he was twice her age.>"I mean, she just got laid with Julian, but three and a half months is a long time" My wife said.
Now this was how Katherine liked to travel.

>>98594981The goddess of Growth and Death. Shea teaches there is no permanence to life, but it doesn't end. Once something dies, it will feed those that come after and grow from the remains. Whether a simple apple, a man, or an empire. They all grow, they all die, they are remembered. The Preven of Shea ensures growth. It is the only Vectari that directly fulfills it's directive since the rest rely on mortals. It arrives to break everything down so what can come next can begin to grow. The Neget of Shea ensures death. Not death in the sense of killing or hunting, but the disappearance of that was came before. Words are worn off walls, books burned, and the dead themselves given animate form so they may walk to the unseen graveyard. The undead in the setting aren't evil or hateful. They are always encountered walking forever towards the sunset. They don't fight back but can be talked to.

Kain is the god of the inner experience, where everything that matters is how you sound within your own head. Do you boast to yourself or second guess every action? Who do you think you are?The Preven of Kain is abject shame. It stands there forcing everyone to look upon their deeds for what they are and confront them. Standing in its presence reminds you of every time you made a fool of yourself or said the wrong thing. It says only: know yourself. The Neget of Kain is unfiltered irresponsibility. Being near it makes you only see the futures that lead to greatness. Nothing is ever your fault because you never do anything wrong. Any failure has been caused by someone else. It tells you: show yourself.
>>98595531Is she though? Is she REALLY?
>>98595335Wait, what happened to Katherine buying her own ship?
>>98595610Wasn't going to do all 8 today but fuckit. The goddess of Kindness and Envy. A community is the strongest institution humans have created. To be able to see the people around you as valued members and to help those who need help. But community comes with a cost. You know what your neighbor has and maybe they don't deserve it. They got married to a loving person and they have 3 kids while you're still single slaving away at a job you hate. Both Vectari of Awona interact with mortals more than the others but it's because they live for the group. The Preven of Awona is unwanted candor. It gathers groups together and forces them to share everything. If one member is mistreated by any of the others for even the smallest of slights, all suffer the same mental pain. If one stubs their toe, they all collapse together. We are many who have become one.The Neget of Awona is constant surveilance. There are always eyes watching in every group of people. Everything is counted, every house has a window, privacy is impossible. Everyone knows what everyone has and will make sure its fair. If she has more flowers than you, take some. He has a horse and you don't, kill it. No one is above the community.
>>98595696The goddess of Forgiveness and Wrath. Anger is the easiest emotion to express, it's immediate and visceral, but it is not the only version of wrath. Wrath represents the inability to control ones emotional state; to let their happiness overflow or their sadness wail. Knowing you have these emotions whether you want them or not requires you to forgive your actions and the outbursts of others. The Preven of Dialos is detachment. Nothing matters. As such, there is nothing to be sad for, disgusted by, or angry about. Since nothing matters, everything is forgiven. The Neget of Dialos is a flood. The longer and stronger an emotion is, the more tears it produces. Happiness, rage, or fear, it doesn't matter as the tears fall. Slowly, everything leads to anger and the world erupts.

Last time I was here I was recommended Krea2, but I don't know how to find a model that will actually run without exhausting my vram and force stopping. More KatherineAfter two weeks of travel, some mild flirting with the captain who was far too professional to take the bait, and plenty of social interactions with the guests, the Sovereign's wake arrived at the planet of Duale. Katherine had the choice of dealing with the Sovereignty of Oros; a fascist dictatorship, or the Hegemony of Xylos; an aligarchic dictatorship that hid behind a facade of "communism" and "collectivism". Katherine decided that communists usually had poorer economies and therefore less money, so she chose the Sovereignty.
>>98600673Tried again but still looks off. Are other Ai models better for consistency
Katherine spun the grav utility vehicles as silent aerial jeeps of higher technology than anything their enemies the Hegemony had access to, and the cybernetics would arm a whole company of special forces troops with force multiplying capabilities. She also noted that it was her duty as an impartial citizen to offer them to the Hegemony and allow them to go to the highest bidder. General Berghman instead offered a higher price immediately, with a "finder's fee" bonus to ensure an "exclusive contract".>Tzeentch says, "Just as planned"
General Berghman insisted on a demonstration of the equipment, so Katherine had one of the grav sleds unboxed and activated. She grabbed a soldier's rifle and blasted at the vehicle to show it was largely impervious to small arms. And, as a bonus, had "self-healing" skin. This closed the sale.
A few days later, Katherine was relaxing by the pool of her hotel when she was approached by an Imperial officer and a soldier. She was told that charges had been filed against her by the Hegemony of Xylos for unfair business practices, illegal arms sales, and espionage.Oh no!

>>98603380Correction, I meant combat classes. Fighter is a better ranger than rangers are since they can use the extra attacks with bows. You basically only want to play the other classes for flavor, with the possible exception of rogue simply because of the skill monkey aspect.
>>98603307>yet you don't see me posting crude parodies of SR gens in a childish manner to make them stop posting itWhat's funny is that one of the avatarfags does precisely that: angrily genning and posting caricatures of the qualityfags as ugly trolls.
>accidentally blows you up
>>98603471Because it's okay when you do it, but no longer okay when you're on the receiving end, isn't it?
>>98602042Thanks! Had a lot of fun genning those.
So THIS is the quality you desire?
>>98602922Barbarian 1 for unarmored, Rogue Soulknife for "unarmed" attacks. I tried to make a picture but Perchance hands dissuaded me.
>>98603234Wooden Dummy is the acceptable phrasing. Wing Chun made it famous as far as I recall. Not to be confused with a makiwara board in karate.
>>98603528I'm not the one doing it. You really need to stop thinking that only one person dislikes the way these threads have been going. >>98603537No. I don't think either side should do it.
I begin to think that all you need is a HUG.

You'd assume his religious order is buddhist, but it's closer in structure to a bosozoku. May the god of pompadours grace you with effortlessly springy hair.
>>98602318I should redo this old piece sometime
>>98602074What's wrong with posting goblins?
>>98603913We've long lost the guy who wrote it so no one has the password. Besides it was DALL-E era as I recall, so probably worth taking down entirely.
>>98600584>>98602082Sunblaze wasn't even immediately sure what spell he had cast on the bow. It was like his mind forgot to pay attention. But that was secondary to the indignation he felt at being forced by the Fae again. He was about to speak out when Jägare yelled first.>Mother! Jägare spun in place scanning the forest but found nothing. She sighed and looked back to Sunblaze with a betrayed expression. >Thank you for Brän.She inspected the bow for a second before drawing it. As she did, a shaft of golden light grew into the shape of an arrow. She fired it at a distant tree and it flew at an impossible speed, blasting a holy burn into it. Sunblaze recognized it as a Searing Light spell, and that the Fae hadn't just violated him. He watched Jägare shake for a moment before making her way to look at the impact on the tree. The Magistrate found himself extremely confused, but decided it would be better to ask the captain about it later. He had heard the voice but other than being pretty it seemed harmless. He suggested they complete the inspection since there was no apparent danger, even from the horrific white armored beastwoman.Nearby, Corun was whispering inside his helmet immediately once he'd heard Röst screaming. He was used to pain and his fear of death so Jägare hadn't affected him. He did his best to reassure her nothing bad was happening to him and she was safe at the inn. Celia enthusiastically arrived at the inn later that afternoon, having been told through the rat runners about Röst.__Celia would have of course asked Andris if she wanted to come since she knew she was friends with Röst. She doesn’t know if Andris had forgiven her yet, but it's an extenuating situation. Celia is in full hyper fixation mode either way and Andris would be able to ratchet her down.
>>98605202>>98603913It's still alive, but there's some sort of odd problem with how rentry's servers are resolving the URL.Just use "rentry.co/tgslop" and it works fine.
Cram in as many monks as I can before the next thread
>>98605619I'm loving that leg armor.
>>98605103Nothing inherently. lowercase posts good goblins. The problem is when the furries and scalies breach their /trash/ containment and post their low-effort, ridiculous-looking "tfw no green shortstack gf" slop.
>>98605619Alright.Perchance really wants the monk to be a nun instead, this is one of the least nun-like results.
