I'd be fine with alchemy cards. A lot of them look fun.
>>98605236>>98605012oh and also I don't believe this can "work" in paper unless the other players trust you to replace the card in your spellbook with the same one you added to your hand. (a lot of alchemy cards are like that.) so it would either require the other players to just trust you to do that, or you could errata it to say that you reveal the card when you draft it, or you could errata it so that the card in the spellbook isn't replaced when you draft it.
Conjure is a mechanic that could be easily made into paper. I really want some of those conjure cards to be real.

Casting Obliterate while having Burning Earth out is worth the price of admission, even if I don't win. Overall it's fun, but inconsistent and gets hated out quickly. It completely changes everyone's strategy and puts a real clock on the game. this card is very interesting but im having trouble finding the confidence(?) to actually play it when i draw it. i understand that im supposed to be okay with letting the cards get exiled since ill have more than enough cards to play the game with in my monoblack deck but there's always the fear of having the answers i need get exiled or the fact that every land is basically a complete whiff that my opponents get to exile for 0 hp. the upside seems incredibly powerful when my opponents life is low enough to feel pressured into letting me have the cards though.
>>98606285Try turning a light on anon. It's not like you will ever need to dim the lights for a woman coming over anyways.
>>98606417No. Tokens entering only enter attacking if the effect creating them causes them to enter attacking, i.e. myriad.

>>98606562This card is garbage, complete garbage. If ever a good card is reveal you will not get it, it exiles lands for free to so you may miss land drops all the time. Do not run this card. DO NOT. The only time it will pay off is when everyone is at 3 or less life.

>>98606613i'll be very impressed if the monowhite deck managed to have two extra white cards in hand to cast this for free
>>98606599The best is Farewell, on account that it selectively exiles, meaning that you're wiping out whatever is most advantageous to you, including hexproofed/indestructible permanents, and it also can cleanse graveyards.Hour isn't even as good as Austere Command in my eyes, because it's easy to shape the Command into being incredibly one-sided.

>>98606685If we're going by that metric, Blasphemous Act is the best for its value of spending R to wipe the field of creatures, and gets even spicier if you happen to have someone like Brash Taunter out on the field.
>>98606695three mana one time to burn each opponent down to extremely low life is a pretty solid exchange rate, unless you have a low curve where the amount of life they're paying is cheap enough that the enchantment will never put out a worthwhile amount of damage per card "lost". I believe the math works out fairly well when youre deck includes cards that have somewhat chunky cmcs and you're discounting or cheating the costs anyways.

>>98606599The graveyard is just someone else's hand GET RID OF IT FOREVER
>>98606715Yeah it's up there, but being able to remove everything but land is so valuable.
>>98606723It's simply a bad card. If you want to run it, that's you, but it is undeniably a bad card, by the time you opponents are low enough for it to be a threat, you could have killed them anyway turning creatures sideways. Giving people the choice to deny you a good card is never a good thing. There WILL be times when you need one of the revealed cards, weather it be a wincon, a way to break a lock of some sort, or just real card draw you desperately want and you opponent will say "No.". If it put the cards in the yard then it would be one of the best enchantments in black.

>>98607909you'd be surprised how much you can get away with making a custom card and people just taking your word for it that it's real, nobody has phones anywaybesides, they're not going to know, there's no reason for them to know, it really does not matter.
>>98607916>proxying isn't stealing everyoneone should do it>ai art? help police he's stealing from muh artists!like clockwork

>>98607971>I don't need validation to play the game that wayyou sure are clutching your pearls at the thought of me blindsiding retards with custom cards!
>>98607974Yeah literally cheating is generally frowned upon by most people. Now say some nonsense about how not paying +$20 for official cards in a format that doesn't care about using real cards is cheating somehow lmao.

>>98608145All these? Tools of the cheater.

>>98608332Hell yeah they should be, I'm tired of people being pussies. Obviously then and only then would it make sense to bother revealing what proxies you are actually using.
>>98608352the whole point of ante being banned is because the working assumption is that people don't want to gamble away real cardboard but since we're in 2026 now and people print cards from their home gambling away worthless paper has lost all meaning so by definition ante must be allowed again
>>98608366Why would proxies existing make gambling be legal? If you ante a proxy then it's literally not gambling anymore and not the actual game.

>>98608494>both nothing being played for moneyreminder that ante is defined as taking ownership of someone's card, NOT that the card must have intrinsic value; it just so happened that people were using real cards with value back in the day and wotc didn't want the baggage, but since people use fake nowadays there's no more baggage and ante must be reinstated, if only to piss people off that they have to print cards again>zero sanctioned rules are being brokenyeah like playing custom cards :)>But you've already expressed how little of a shit you give about the actual rules of the game.and yet i've just proven that i know more about the game than you ever did!

All in all, across hundreds of conventions and stores, I've probably put about 600 cards in circulation. I won't even talk about online sales, that's just the easiest thing imaginable.
