These are the two ethnicities of amazons in my setting. The left ones are called Frotheimskar. They're descended from some Norse period people mostly from Norway and Iceland, with some from Sweden and Britain that got isekaid to the Fantasy continent. The right ones are called Las Ezoyanas. They're descended from some coloial period people mostly from Colombia and Venezuela, with some from Argentina that also got isekaid there. All the men died out and a Goddess chose to give them the ability to reproduce so that their people could survive.

She has no contacts offworld to find somewhere to sell her freeze-dried ration cakes made with the seafood.

Katherine knows that shipping agricultural goods more than a couple parsecs is generally a losing proposition. However, she feels a swell of pity for the backwater planet, and in a fit of altruism, buys thirty tons of the stuff. She knows the asteroid belt of Gandr is two jumps away, and such mining colonies are always looking for foodstuffs, though she guesses she won't make much profit.

Last Katherine for today:

The "prototypes" turned out to be humans that had been implanted with cutting edge nanotech to turn them into cyborgs that could survive in nearly any environment. Unfortunately, the same nanotech also "rewrote" their brains, turning them into mindless husks. To salvage the project, they uploaded robot subroutines into the now computerized brains to turn them into biological vestige robots. The Imperial Biogenetics board would file an ethics complaint large enough to cripple the corporation if it was discovered. They needed them quietly moved.

With the asteroid Gandr the next stop on her voyage, she had an idea. She told them to be sure the manifests labelled them as "Experimental autonomous robotic units". It was a damned shame what had happened to those poor test volunteers, but she could find someone with a use for them.

Unless you need something very unusual, I'd say it's worthwhile learning to do it yourself. It's considerably easier to make AI art now than it was a couple of years ago, since the current generation of AI models are much more capable of responding to normal natural-language descriptions.

Seeing that she had no intention of answering, he changed the subject.

Yeah, that's intention. I like my Traveller milieu to have a sort of Syd Mead & Mass Effect meet Art Deco sort of look, so the clean vector like art style I use for Katherine makes sense (to me). Dove is in a more dirty, "used universe" so the sloppy, unfinished, "speedpaint" painterly style I like for it. Katherine twice in one thread

The Gandr asteroid belt had no Imperial spaceport, and as such no customs department. The Imperial Navy came through with a cutter every so often to do spot inspections, but mostly of outgoing Lanthanum and Tantalum which were needed for jump drives and heavily tariffed. They checked almost nothing coming into the belt.

Most of the station was kept at microgravity, to save the power needed for the gravity generators. As such, there was no "floor", "ceiling", "up" or "down" with corridors and furniture on any surface imaginable. As these mining colonies could be a little rough, Katherine brought along Lola, just in case.

After hours of networking throughout the station, she finally found her way to "Madame Zane" a union leader for the belters, fixer, and crew chief. The negotiations were tense, as the belters could sniff the aristocracy on Katherine. She arranged a trade cycle with Aquaculture of Tivid so they would supply ores in returns for their aquatic foodstuffs.

Then were the delicate negotiations about the "Robots" Katherine had for sale. Lanthanum deposits were becoming harder to come by, forcing the miners to seek them out further into the belt. The "Robots" could survive extended periods in the vacuum of space, and properly equipped could locate potential veins of ore much more easily operating as scouting drones.

Zane, however, did not have the cash to pay for cargo. She did have five tons of radioactive ores that she could make an even trade for. It was a gamble for Katherine, but she knew it was her best chance to unload the very illegal cyborgs. She made the deal, hoping it would pay off when she reached Lunion.

The next part of the voyage would be three jumps through a couple uninteresting and largely unpopulated systems, meaning they would be spending the next four weeks on board the ship with little chance of disembarking. Katherine spent much of her time socializing with the other guests.

In particular was Leo, a teenaged young man travelling with his parents. He clearly had a crush on Katherine, which she did nothing to discourage. During the journey, she bumped into him coming out of the small gym. As he was quite technically adroit, she decided to ask him to her room to help her look over the technical specifications of a couple different space ships she was thinking of purchasing.

She "forgot" to close the bathroom door while she took a quick shower, then sat rather close to him wearing nothing but a think silk robe, driving the young man nearly into apoplexy.

After getting the technical advice she needed, she ushered him out the door. Lola commented that had been mean. Katherine said the droid had no sense of humor.

Oh, I turned off the memory function. But GPT keeps old conversations in a list, which is good for me when I want to reference a character prompt I've done before I can just go to that conversation and copy-paste what I need.

I understand learning to draw to be a long grueling process, but amateur writing feels a bit too easy to practice to use AI.

I've been trying to make to make a character for every DnD core class while filling in slots with characters I've actually played.
This is Selena, an Elf Fighte (I picked Fighter because Samurai works with Sharpshooter), but it feels wrong for Fighter to not be a human, but it also feels wrong to switch her to Ranger (she lives and works in a village and trains under an assassin at night). Rogue is taken, but Ranger doesn't feel like a village living class.

Ive been using it for a couple projects to keep things straight and consistent. I like it for writing storage cause its good at warning me if I mixed up a small detail I mentioned 2 months ago. It's mid to bad at proper editing but fine for proofreading.

I tried having it write some things but its always the same cadence and diction. Its super distracting once you see it and even worse I'm seeing it more often everywhere like news articles and such. It was always easy to guess something was AI, but now I can tell usually within the first 3 paragraphs based entirely on the way it writes, from word choice to the simplicity of the sentences. There used to be a bit of a question if what I was reading or looking at was AI but being here has given me too much insight into it.

That all said, it has had a good use case even with that shitty writing style: small town local newspapers. They can't afford to hire more than 1-2 writers but at least with AI they can provide a small bit of writing about what's happening around you.
