What character's do you use for inspiration when coming up with the personalities of the character you roleplay?

Since every character I make isn't me, my inspirations come from a wide range of sources, and their personalities are abstracted through their decisions made during gameplay.

>character's
In this context, you don't use an apostrophe.

Can a CE character even work in party?
>>
I just...make them up.
>>
>>98632218
sure, but it requires a degree of social awareness above most ttrpg folks.
>>98632906
You just. Make them up.

Yeah...

I have on occasion fucked the DM’s wire behind his back and whenever I’m in one of his games I use that smugness to inform my character’s roleplay sensibilities. There is no greater feeling than watching him roll plastic dice on the table trying to deal imaginary damage to my character sheet and railroad us all through his failed novel of a game while knowing that I have completely cucked him. His wife plays sometimes too which makes it extra good

Yes, you can be someone who delights in chaos and the suffering of others without that being the whole of your personality

Plenty of actual real-life psychopaths who do horrible things have "friends" that they won't hurt unless they get annoying or pester them too much.

How does this work in a party?
>>
>>98629858
Mainly sitcome characters
Always fun to think how a character like that would interact with a fantasy world
When ever I play a wizard I usually play as Frasier crane

Forever gm. My npcs are unusually a trait or two from this table. Tends to be enough to combine with the game context at hand.
