Haha okay oh fuck we are in so much trouble.

The techo-Tremere trying to steal our Caern seem intent on bringing normies into this. So, every single entrance and exit into the national park is now blocked. It isn't official or anything, they're somehow scrubbing all the 'why did I get turned away from the Rockies???? Why's there so much police on the road?????' posts from the Internet. Annoying. And verrrrry indicative of that the techno-Tremere, or TTs, titties even, for short, have an in with enough Nosferatu tech nerds that they can pull this shit. Not great.

On the upside, Librarian, Bee, and our maid are back! The maid nearly stabbed Sorcerer's eyes out when she saw him, she's been twitchy ever since our butler got kidnapped. Good first impression.

>>98630280 (OP)
Oh my God that's literally me! Well, almost. But literally me!

Also I am again functional! And am down to do readings. Ground rules:

>You can ask a full question, or just list the subject and let the cards work; less specifics mean more card freedom
>"Will I find love in Los Angeles?" or "Will I be safe in Los Angeles?" works, so does "Los Angeles?" or "Love?" or "Safety?"
>I tend to go for anywhere from three to seven questions elaborating on what you ask, one card per question normally
>The cards give meaning, and I'll interpret them, but you can interpret them differently. They don't often do the whole 'if you wage this war a great empire will fall' trick, they try to be helpful and honest
>The cards won't tell you where Cain is, but they're also better than you'd think, be reasonable in what you expect
>Be nice or I'll ask them when your dick will rot off
>If you want on-retainer readings and guidance, pay me money, these are freebies I give out as advertisement of my immensely useful services
I actually draw cards, either physically or digitally if I don't have a deck on me. Cards that are pulled are the cards that are pulled, I don't intently set up some sort of outcome.

I wish we could openly live in peace with the kine without need of the masquerade.

good fortunes kindred, i believe we have discovered an outcropping of ceoris

my assamite companion and i have scoured the hills of romania as a pair of 'well-meaning turkish hikers.' it has not been as unpleasant as my companion laments, though, this is mostly as his halal needs hamper him somewhat, and my affection for cool breeze is apparently insufferable.

these nights are strange. the land, it seems, is not as alien as it once was. the wolves of the moon haunt the hills and forests, and every village has some ghoul who has carved out a private fief for himself. but all give way to my intent. there were only two incidents, one where we relieved a very corrupt public official of ill gotten gains and tossed handfuls of embezzled cash to the people on our way out. second an encounter with a number of camarilla dogs who remembered some slight i'd committed back when i ran beside the ashirra.

i shall never encourage kindred to seek out the blood arts of haqim. but i, now, appreciate them. having their leader erupt into a bloody sword that chased the rest off was rather refreshing.

last night we spotted one of the outpost towers of old ceoris. deep within a wooden thicket, the napalm burnt facade beckoning us through the late evening fog. my companion personally recognized the architecture, and that damned key now points at it when left in still water.
>>
>>/tq/
i would refuse on principle.
lest one of my peers get scorned by whatever force granted that wish and we recreate the original tragedy.

>>98630853
there is something greatly amusing to me about the rejects of the magi being called 'tremere.'
but, i do have a request for cards seer. and a second un cardish one.
>what awaits within olde ceoris for us?

and secondly, invest in some shawls, would you? i remember better days when fortune tellers were more ubiquitous. and that hat of yours i find rather... colonial? of a certain time. and annoying puritans.
>>
>>98631182
Isn't that also a wish for a world peace in general at this point?
>>98630853
>>98631251
>that hat of yours i find rather... colonial? of a certain time. and annoying puritans.
What does a sorcerous Kindred have to do with Purita-
>DON'T LISTEN TO HIM. WEAR WHAT PLEASES YOU.
Zoryana out of nowhere?
>EXPRESS YOURSELF. IT'S YOUR BODY AND WARDROBE.
>>
>>98631310
>What does a sorcerous Kindred have to do with Purita-
nothing. but, i recall the time before the world wars and the unfortunate occidental fools i ran into.
i much prefered the company of travelers and fortune tellers. even rats.
>>
>>98630280
Right now? I would have EVERY LAST 'RATIONALIST' WIZARD ROT INTO A POOL OF VISCOUS DEMON SEE
METAL PEOPLE AND OTHERS TOO- PERISH IN HUMILIATION

>>98630853
I cannot help but wonder how deep in these Imbecilic Nihilists are with the Camarilla. And the World-Devour Giga-Corp. Do their long noodle penises tie together in a knot in the halls of the powerful? Making them trip? I imagine so. Insufferable VERMIN.

And- Good that your brain works now thank you for returning.

If I may expose my hand for a moment- I've been expecting attempted and actual stabbings much more. Almost a relief. Also good that I was finally able to deliver the gifts to the Librarian and this 'Bee' character. So my Ductus will not maul me.

While the hand gripping us is tightening, I have good news. The further I delve the more aware I become of the deficiencies of these "Tits." They clearly reinforced their shitty lamps for certain forms of tampering, but they failed to prepare them for Vitae based ritual. I believe I could rupture several in short order, but I can only confirm my blood is viable for this act at present.

I will need samples of all of yours. Just to test.

Also, my beloved sibling caused an incident on the opposite side of their dumb web. Infighting. He drove one of the spiders through a band of cyborgs and explosively into another of their pylons. Now while this was a temporary boon his covert presence caused serious infighting. I believe there are at least three separate cliques of the TITS and they were rather... Irate. Another avenue we can exploit.
>>
>>98633143
>they failed to prepare them for Vitae based ritual
Isn't that weird for a gang of Tremere?
>>
>>98633182
They are "Tremere" ONLY in the sense that is the nearest thing you would be able to compare them to!
Sprouting from the same insufferable tree that TREMERE and GORATRIX jumped from! Conceited Magi! Idiot wizards! The lame- morally dwarfed ingrates that desire to control the universe!

Fortunately for us, despite their resources and their subjugation of mythic powers, they are STUPID. And at the very least my blood was not accounted for. But I must now test and see if it is my Goratrixian heritage that permits me this rite.

Or- Potentially- My Koldunism. Or some mixture of elements. My familiar spirit has been rather coy when he isn't blitzed on my vitae.

DO NOT DENIGRATE EVEN THE PATHETIC AND LAOSTHOME "WIZARD" BY PUTTING IT IN THE SAME CATEGORY

BUT, KEEP SAYING IT THEY HATE THAT IT IS TECHNICALLY TRUE

I'm in a secure location. Won't say more, can't be sure how safe it is, even here.
I managed to socially engineer someone into looking into last night's "visitor" wasn't hard. My cousins didn't even make me pay the "Clanless Nobody" fee or the "not ugly like me" upcharge. No other explanation, Dotonbori's Nosferatu are afraid. Hard to blame them, lots of their daywatchers have disappeared, meanwhile Osaka is being overrun by Koreans, delegates from the no less than the Green Court. A few have even visited the clinic my mom works at. As to why the Green Court is visiting here and not, I dunno Kyoto; I can't say, because who do I ask? Every kindred I could vaguely trust disappeared while I was drying off.
Fortunately the pet kinjin of the green court brought their own refreshments. It shouldn't be too hard getting the blood I need for tonight's talk. Then, the waiting game.
>>
>>98631244
I cannot help but notice the timing. Another pack of flesh crafted ghouls accosted my domain, about the time you would have been conducting your initial explorations. They were dispatched witn greater ease than the last batch, which makes me suspect these were little more than bodies being thrown into a fire, not well trained servants. If he is resorting to such crude methods I wonder if he is not afraid to leave his land. Or perhaps it is less he is unwilling and more unable to do so... I leave this section of the tale entirely in your hands, good sir
>>
>>98621707

Okay, yeah. I know I can be reckless, impulsive. But I don't think I'm stupid. Yet here I was, riding on a motorcycle behind a complete stranger whose name I didn't even know, on my way to do...what? Bullshit with a Camarilla Prince, I guess. Our Pack was still trying to scout out this cam stronghold, to report back as much as we could. To find the weakness the Sabbat could hit to crack this domain wide open. Maybe hit it ourselves...

Was that it? Was I just being greedy and letting that compromise my judgement? No...that doesn't feel right. For some reason, this back just seemed familiar. Safe. I wanted to lean against it. Against him. I did. My arms went around his waist, hands folding around his longhorn shaped belt buckle. Moomoolund indeed.

Eventually the ride ended. I managed to pry myself off him, put on a bored face, and asked his name. His spurs jingled a bit as he put the kickstand down.

Call me Sam. I could hear a grin in his voice. So just as a heads up, the Prince is a Lasombra.

Woah. I knew a few Lasombra were jumping ship to the Cam lately, but making PRINCE?

Sam read the look on my face and spat. I know. I dunno how he pulled that off either.

As part of my studies, I interviewed a couple of Marco's Dead childer whom he embraced after Spider Lily. They died as fledglings. While our more fortunate villainess was happily helping the Ghiberti conduct their horrific business in Luanda in Western Africa, Kindred in the Tokugawa period had it hard, sandwiched between two different, enemy inquisitions.

One died to the Hidden Christians of Japan whose exceptional faith allowed them to survive underground from the ban of their religion in 1614 to the Miracle of the Orient in 1865. The other died to those endorsing said persecution of Christians - the local mixture of Neo-Confucians, Buddhists and Shintoists.

Japanese Kindred avoiding the sun and interacting with foreigners were likely to be suspected of being Christians. Meanwhile Marco himself survived by studying and adopting said Asian ways and translating texts between Latin, and the languages of the élite: a Classical Japanese (kobun, 古文) already separate from the everyday language of the people, and Classical Chinese which the aristocrats could read but never spoke except maybe a pair of monks (kanbun, 漢文).

When you summon a soul, the candlelight dims and changes color, you feel as if space is warping around you, ready to swallow you whole, but most unforgettable of all is hearing that first groan coming from beyond the grave.

It's a somewhat basic power, but according to everyone here in Venice, this atmosphere you get out of it never gets old.

>I knew I liked you Tío Viejo.
You don’t know what you’re encouraging.

>But if you want me only flying, I can oblige.
I don’t want anybody flying. William is fucking cursed. Every time we go near something that goes airborne, it stops being airborne very quickly.

But at this point I am actually unsure if any sort of transport would be safe, so fuck it, fuck me, I suppose we’re going into the air.

>Got any requests while am shopping?
Yeah. I know what William wants to do to get us a big helicopter. We’ll need a few drones, the less-shitty ones that go for a few hundred dollars apiece. So, decent but disposable enough. Also, bring various ammo, guns, explosives and gold, especially gold. We can get all other sorts of supplies fine - tents, tools, fuel, blood, whatever. But we can’t get the drones, weapons or gold without drawing undue attention, and with Christiansen’s lot and the ecoterrorists and the lupines whoever the fuck else, we ought to play it quieter a little. Especially with how we’ll be procuring the helicopter.

Oh, also, fireworks. Buy fireworks. Loud and obnoxious ones.
>>
>>98630853
>What can your foes do during the day?
A lot! We're relying on the lupines stepping up and playing guard during the day, along with other, more classified and oh-so-secret defences. Though we've not been directly attacked yet, much less during the day.

All in all the Tits are about as active during the day as they are during the night, but there's more fleshy and alive peeps during the day. We're not seeing any ghouls, at least none that give off the aura of a ghoul, so that's fucking weird. Maybe they're really paranoid about letting us get any of their vitae?

>>98631251
>the rejects of the magi
Spicy talk for somebody in dick-rot-off range and age!

>shawls???
Ehhh. Some of my fortune teller girlies got a few and I have a whole cryptic and mystical getup with a lot of them, but it's conspicuous, you know? In my usual I just look like an attention-starved Midwestern girl tapping into a very popular fashion style. It's easy to gloss over thanks to that it sticks out the same way three hundred thousand other women in a five-state-range stick out.

As for the caaards,
>Olde Ceoris: how bad of a place is it, really?
Ace of Pentacles - Reverse. Financial ruin; lack of security; missed opportunities. Kind of on-brand.
>Will Balthazar and company be better off, if they go there, even given what sort of a place it is?
Page of Swords - Upright. Opportunity to learn; new skills to master; a step of a journey to wisdom and knowledge.
>Will Balthazar lose anybody or anything important? Will that be the cost of what he can learn?
Ace of Swords - Reverse. Indecision; confusion; a reservation of your creation.
If I had to guess, the cards are saying the Ceoris is a hellpit, it's a hellpit you can learn much from, and the price is, potentially:
>You lose clarity and grasp of your focus
>In a struggle to comprehend, you and whoever else will be there come to blows
>You lose trust or others lose trust, as somebody conceals a breakthrough
I'm just a conduit though!
>>
>>98635362
As old and frightening as Hell Flower was. I don't think she was all that was standing between a war between the Green Courts and Courts of the Sun, heck even if that was the case; I wouldn't run.
And while the situation in Dotonbori seems tense it seems less like a war and more like.. a search? One that includes the clinic you might recall from earlier posts.
Does Haneunim-dono or his court have any particular interest in medicine? Assuming he's like the local Gaki or even we kindred, he's dead.
...
What could possibly be of interest them in a Hospital?
>>
>>98633143
>And- Good that your brain works now thank you for returning.
I make no guaranteed that my brain actually works and that I'm not, like, a body puppeted by the spirit I'm tied up with! Don't ask me things only I would know, though, I'm woozy.

>But they failed to prepare them for Vitae based ritual
Ha, nice!
>>98633182
>Isn't that weird for a gang of Tremere?
a fuk
>>98633222
>They are "Tremere" ONLY in the sense that is the nearest thing you would be able to compare them to!
Ah fuck.

Hm.

So, working theory number one, yours: they just aren't too deep in the classic blood sorcery, so they forgot to cover important gaps.

I have a much more horrifying theory I can't just divine for, because, as I found out today, divining for the Caern fries me kind of.

What if what you found isn't a gap in defences but a, like, very specific structural choice? A point of connection? So that whatever ritual THEY want to do works easier?

Also,
>I will need samples of all of yours. Just to test.
Sure, we can hook you up! If you wanna do a creepy Sabbat rite or drink it, warn us, or somebody really will stab your eyes out. Also don't freak out when the vitae has funny effects, they're, like... Very variably pronounced. Igni got. Um. Funny ones. You'll be fine though. Probs.

>>98636278
Good 'goyle! The butler's scent being out there at all is funky. Maybe the kidnapper's baiting us, or the butler's having a fun spirit world adventure, trying to escape? We'll find him, either way. Plus if he's harmed I'll skin the raven enough times that I'll have the material for ten more card decks, so, I'm sure it'll work out fine.
>>
>>98633143
Watch your six Libby's coming in for a hug run run run run

Also,
>He drove one of the spiders through a band of cyborgs and explosively into another of their pylons.
So that's what that was. The cop radio can't shut up about the noise. Funnily enough, they seem to get censored whenever anybody mentions giant spiders, so maybe the Tits are trying to keep a lid on things even as they use the locals as... I don't even know as what, filler? Not sure why they bother, with the scale they're dragging normal people into things, they'd need to purge them all or to conduct some very intensive mind trickery to hide it all at the end.

>I believe there are at least three separate cliques of the TITS and they were rather... Irate. Another avenue we can exploit.
Fingers crossed we can. My best hope up until now was just irritating the spiders until they become a problem too big for our uninvited guests to continue with their project. Not a good plan - I've gone on a trip with Bee to a petty spiritual site, a tree that got hit with thunder like five times last year alone, and we saw four spiders merge together not far from it. All four seemed pretty healthy, so, it was not even because they were too injured, like the previous instance of merging you and HSE saw.
The result looked very, very unwell. The carapace had these odd cracks to it, the eyes were leaking fluid, a few excess legs. Sickly, all in all. It skittered off into the dark just fine, though, and about as fast as the smaller ones do, which is pretty abnormal, considering that it was bigger than a SUV. The sort-of den they merged in was filled with haphazard spiderwebs, spun up corpses, a few half-melted metal Suits, the works. No eggs or anything though, but we did find a bunch of very freshly disturbed soil, like the spiders dug their way out of it.
>>
>>98637239
>so maybe the Tits are trying to keep a lid on things even as they use the locals as
THRALLS
Vile wretches the whole lot of them

>OOOOOH LOOK AT ME I'M ENLIGHTENED BY MY OWN EUPHORIA
>OOOH IM SO SMART AND I HATE SPIDERS, IM GONNA SEND ALL THE SPIDERS TO SUPER HELL AND ANNIHILATE THE CONCEPT OF SPIDERS
>GOD MY BRAIN IS SOOOOOO BIG I NEED TO LOBOTOMIZE A WOMAN TO TOUCH ME

Gonna snap. I promise you.

But that is... I will concede I know not of the full extent of these crows and spiders. Before everything, tonight I will be enacting a Koldunist ritual to seek power from the Earth in a Place of Death, where a certain someone once set up a den. Which- Egh. I know what this will look like but I am not loosing my mind.

AND I FORBID YOU TAKING PICTURES.

Medical journals are somewhere between disheartening and brain breakingly dull.
That one poster asked about the crossover between vampirism and medicine, well suffice it to say, I think a lot of Doctors would wilfully break the Masquerade if they saw the lengths kindred go to keep it or the way they exploit matters for their own ends, especially where blood is concerned.
You might remember the buzz about a synthetic blood subsitute, a purple powder that could keep for two years and was usable across blood types. It could have streamlined the entire process of transfusion, saved countless lives and spared so many men having to pretend to care about compatible blood types on blind dates. The Sotoha killed it in the crib in 2023.
Then there was the scandal not too many years back about a life extending drug that was found to be tainted with traces of blood. Reading through the benefits and side effects of the drug, this Anagath F45.6 sounds achingly familiar to the incidents of those two small canadian towns Ms. H0T and company were investigating.
This is just two stories, there are dozens of incidents all buried in journals that never breaks into the news cycle.
There's nothing about the Gaki, but I guess "Red Chi" isn't exactly something modern medicine concerns itself with, at least not under thst label.
So it's entirely possible the clinic that's been my second home since I was a kid has been the playground of monsters without me or mom or any of us not even knowing!
...
Saved by the bell. Assumed name, real address. One that my source reports he couldn't enter. Well, it's either I figure out a sneaky way to flush my new friend out or I work through my feelings and I know which one potentially lets me punch somebody so, off I go!

My source did not lie. I approach full of purpose and intent to righteously pummel a total stranger. I can't even bring myself to walk through the doorway. Which operates on a motion sensor. I walk up to it, freeze as it opens, then walk away, even if I approach trailing behind a group of people. I've tried the back door and even an entrance on the roof, same feeling of "No. Do not." It's like being a Hikki but backwards, I see the door but can't bring myself to use it to go inside.

CERTAIN TZIMISCE DO HAVE THIS WEAKNESS, AN EXTREME RESPECT FOR OTHER'S TERRITORIAL BOUNDARIES TO MATCH THEIR OWN PROTECTIVE TENDENCIES IN THEIR OWN DOMAINS. >>
>>98649870
A Juggalo is a fan of the musical artists known as the Insane Clown Posse (ICP), they paint their faces as clowns to match their idols. The image is from the cover of the ICP album "The Great Milenko". I know this because I was a Juggalo long ago when I was in junior high. This could be a new clan Tzimisce thing, this could be a Malkavian thing, this could even be a Brujah or Toreador thing, I don't know. It's not a Ventrue thing that's for sure.

A good proposal! One issue is, the publicly available forest fire maps, like that my-lake one Victoria's contact fetched, do not show many forest fires as far north as the forest roughly must be. However, that just doesn't track with what I've been hearing from the locals; a whole bunch of small towns and hamlets got burnt this year, apparently, even up north, where there's no real forest fire presence, supposedly.

I suppose when we'll be getting the helicopter, we should also do a little detour and grab more limited-access maps. A task fit for you! Probably. You seem to be decently well-versed with the computers, I do not trust myself and Victoria will be needed for how we'll be getting the helicopter.

I can't shake the feeling that my Sire Marco will eventually see me as a liability and accelerate my flight from Venice. The latest prank with the old hag's portrait doesn't help.

Before the Family Reunion and this short-lived Clan Hecata, the Harbingers and other bloodlines of Necromancers were in the Sabbat. The anti-Hecata, mainline Giovanni will definitely try to renegotiate the Promise of 1528 into full Camarilla membership after 500 years of neutrality, adding as many slain Sabbat or ex-Sabbat Necromancers as they can on their resume.

As for me, I'm a Diablerist, a Caitiff, an inhuman capital S Sinner. I can join neither the anti-Hecata Giovanni nor the ex-Hecata survivors who still want to be Independent. There are Princes that think I'm Spider Lily and not her slayer, and will do any sort of pressure they can on other, welcoming Princes to have me dead, or at least kicked out of Cammy domains.

The question is not if I'm going to fight until the night I die, the question is who could possibly bother with fighting alongside someone in my position?

I think the only Sect that isn't opposed to everything I am is the Sword of Caine...

>you know how glass can carry tensions within it? Particularly if it's not annealed, not allowed to settle while still at a somewhat maleable temperature?
Reality is like that. Don't worry about what the temperature is or who's casting the glass or what it means to anneal in this case. When an actual brother of ahhh hermes works his will upon the glass, it introduces that kind of stress into it. And if you do it too much, well. The Glass Cracks baby, and the glass is you, so its not recommended. And just the same the sort of bane infused nonsense you guys get up to, you guys are basically fomori destined to expand entropy until it consumes you directly. Beyond me and my roomie finally performing our first exorcism, instead of debasing ourselves to accommodate a ghost's demands. Beyond doing something to a captive enemy spy. Beyond the excitement of seeing Spider Lily moving through the wall to cause pure terror to the little ghost just like spettri make kine shit themselves. Beyond being allowed to touch a relic/purification rod from a lost Shinto shrine the night after Hiroshima's bombing...

...it's as Rumi/Gekka said: "That was fucking awesome."

"Fucking awesome" here is not the opinion of the haughty countryside princess Zoryana, the lascivious ghoul turned Cainite Lianhua, it's not the conformity to some consensus of three women in a room, and it's not an excited spasm of the Beast.

This is the opinion of the net-idol who sung karaoke and dressed up for the pleasure of older men and sometimes women, who presumably had to kick others down on her way to success - some of those 'others' being most definitely younger - the kind of success that would culminate in receiving the attention and then the Embrace of that man from overseas, one Marco della Passaglia.

Fomori are some of the most LOATHSOME of entities. Physical bodies hallowed out and commanded by powerful evil-spirits, BANES! Degenerative progeny of the great Wyrm-Things which seek to devour our reality.

We Cainites are... Closer to them than we are to mortals. Your average fool-stooge of the Camarilla has a scent not unlike Fomori, a reek of entropy and decay, battling for our worst impulses. But critically- We are not them. We remain entrapped within our damned bodies, and only truly powerful or ritually armed Banes would be able to contest us for control, from ourselves and our Beasts.

Just look above at that... Clown. >>98651704 He is clearly "possessed" by a Bane! But because it is a weak spirit it is now entrapped within his body! His slave! And what is ever more curious, as a Cainites grows more resolved, starving their Beast, or else, mastering it, they are able to perform feats of great curiosity. The articles of Faith! Wrought iron will! When the Beast is mastered it empowers the one 'accursed' in most bizarre ways!

Banes are why I shall give the Wolf-Men the "Pass" as it were. And why we cannot afford to be complacent. Lest powerful Cainites be seduced by them, and allow their subordinates to fall victim.

I think I should go where Necromancers are rare for economic reasons as well. I do have Lianhua's memories of my self-proclaimed sister's shenanigans on either sides of the Pacific, I'll definitely be impressed if it is as hellish as you say.

I have a question for you, Mr. Grin.

I received a DM of invitation by this Cainite who identified himself - definitely with a pseudonym - as a Ductus and as a Knight of St. Gustav, saying he leads a pack of pilgrims made of a "Follower of CAINE Pack Priestess" [sic], an Urban Gangrel, a Nosferatu and a not further specified "Mystic", a fellow Koldun I'd guess? Yes, he spelled CAINE in all capitals there.

But his invitation is not to become part of his pack, rather he would like me to settle in a deconsecrated Catholic abbey church and turn it into a "fortress, shelter, command centre and temple of the Sword of Caine", where I could continue my studies and offer hospitality and protection to nomadic packs passing by.

I've been meaning to ask you: is this kind of unlife typical for Sabbat-aligned, mystically oriented, sufficiently old Tzimisce, or indeed Necromancers like the Harbingers, who I'm told are so old they are 5 to 7 times removed from Caine on average? Do they live a sedentary life surrounded by a herd, ghouls or revenants and so on?

I thought the Sabbat was mostly nomads on the run from enemy Cainites and hunters. Do they become "less mobile" when they are of higher station and power?

I won't disclose the location on this channel but I think the ex-church is close to a city the Sword of Caine wants to reclaim. Do you have any recommendations before I continue these negotiations?
>>
>>98668284
>I thought the Sabbat was mostly nomads on the run from enemy Cainites and hunters. Do they become "less mobile" when they are of higher station and power?
I
YOU
WHERE IS RUMP I NEED HIM TO EXPLAIN THE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCKING SITUATION IN HISPANIOLA

No.
NO I am fine.
There are many areas where the Sabbat are long lasting presences. Much of the Americas have been a battle ground since the Colombian Exchange as the Sabbat sought FREEDOM in the new world.
Mexico, Quebec, Portions of the Dixieland, California, Brazil, and the Caribbean. Despite the rather Stalinesque claims of Inquisitors and the Camarilla, the Sabbat endure.

>There was no mention of this Wyrm in the Noddist literature I read, is it some kind of offensive name for God?
I wish. The Wyrm. As far as I am learned it has always been, hidden since primordial times by the Entity of Control which I hinted at. The Weaver.
Together they are a fitting DEMIURGE! Forces of entropy and decay! Locked in eternal battle to either bind reality, or destroy it.

I shall elucidate these metaphysical concepts with a request. Go outside come nightfall. Look upon the sky, and the blackness of the abyss. Where there are no stars, where there is no name. THAT is the WYRM. It needs no name, it is omnipresent, and it looms large over all of us. Noddist historiography falls into the STUPID DUMB IDIOCY of CAROLINGIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY! Too focused on name and lineage and the sucking of Caine's MASSIVE SCHLONG to look up and see the looming abyss. For the better! This knowledge is...

Unpleasant.
>>
>>98668284
It's typical-ish. Though usually these kind of deals are offered to Older Non-Affliated cainites. Generally ones too old and tough to push around or outright kill.
As for St. Gustav, all I know is they're Inquisitors and as such they're awfully particular about people under their sphere of influence following their rules. This mostly boils down to "Don't make deals with the Actual Devil.", but they're leery of serial diablerists too. And, any city the Sabbat intends to take over is probably going to turn into a Red zone. One can find many things in our sect, safety isn't one, even if you aren't in a pack.
Finally, what the Sabbat asks for, the Sabbat can also take, if you meet with them in person, bring muscle.

I... need to reach out to Spider Lily's shinobi ASAP and weigh my options. I must think this through. And have an honest conversation with my Sire. More than safety for the rest of my unlife, a pipe dream, I want the lesser evil-
>pfft
>AHAHAHAHAHA.
Stop bullying me!! There is a chance the Sabbat turns out to be the lesser evil FOR ME AND IT'S NOT FUNNY!!!! IT'S JUST HOW BAD IT IS!!!!! UUUUGHH!!!
>if you meet with them in person, bring muscle.
No matter what I choose, I'll bring muscle anywhere I go. I can even make muscle do dumb Dominate won't push it over. Maybe that's one of the reasons for this invitation in the first place.

It's very easy to see a starless sky here in Italy or everywhere urban because of all the (artificial) light pollution scattering starlight. You see planes with their blinking lights. You can see planet Mars, which appears brighter, but no stars, not with a naked eye.
But since I'm dealing with this guy who travels with this lady "Follower of CAINE" [sic], and he's also an Inquisitor apparently, I'm just trying to understand how could these pagan (?) deities (??) fit into a story who sees naught but God, Adam, Caine, Abel, and maybe Lilith and Lucifer?

Are there interpretations of the Wyrm were he is, like, Satan? You make him sound pretty spooky and satanic, and both Jesus and Paul in the Bible refer to Satan as prince of this world, or the air, or the god of this age. Does it make sense?

Indeed. That is the point. The "Sky" needs no name. Yet. It is. There. Just out of sight and out of mind.
And the world of the Kine, and ours, empowers their dominion.

I will be very blunt with you my "Creation of Chinese-Bimbo-Doctor-Moreau" (affectionate) I am absolutely not the one to explain this. Because- Essentially the tale of God (Demiurge Bitch) is apart from these primordial entities. Foundational elements of our reality bending. Just because the tale of the Dark Father doesn't mention gravity, that doesn't mean he didn't slip on occasion. We must make extrapolations in this space. Compare things.

And in SOME cases we can assume the Gnawing Horrors the big J-Man was talking about wasn't Romans or Rich Bastards, no it might be the Wyrm.

>If you haven't already reached your highest sad level of potential.
My advice was, and continues to be. Leave. Whatever the NWO want, I doubt that you can't relocate yourself to somewhere they are not. And don't think I am talking down to you here. I would give this advice to most of my own brethern. They just aren't worth fighting. They have seen your formula for fighting 'blacksuits' and already configured themselves to be too tough and numerous for you to effectively fight. That means every encounter with them will be a mortal risk for you. Sooner or later (and sooner if they have any say in it, and they most certainly do), you will fall.

But I must make my way sideways now. I doubt the connection will remain stable. To the rest of your cursed kin, I suggest you seek the sun. It's only fair that you both get to see each other one last time.

Oh, good spotting! The landscape fits; lots of water, little islands, not quite ideal for the movement of a forest, but certainly defensive against fire. During our encounter with the thing, it was further north, in a relatively dry area, but I suppose with the advent of modern observational technology, with the fire and with Endron digging, it perhaps had to move. And there's some places near where we could refuel, if it isn't it, but I hope it is - the more north the forest is, the more likely we are to get stranded with no fuel and little non-animal blood.

>>98662215
Speaking of refueling - once you arrive, we'll need to move quickly and seize the helicopter I've got an eye on! I apologize for not giving you an apt window to acclimatize and rest, but I fear the helicopter may be moved shortly. I've done some in-person observation, and from what I'm seeing, the company operating it recently got hired by one of the mining conglomerates for personnel transport. The thing I've got in mind is precisely the sort of vehicle you'd use to transport a whole lot of personnel, very far, so it's probably not going to stay at the airport for long.

Also, minor Yellowknife update! I've observed the hazmat crew move the radioactive waste onto the Giant Mine grounds. It’s a vast complex, so specifics were hard to observe, what with the plentiful cameras and occasional guards, but I believe it’s a fair guess to make that the hazmatters just dumped all the lead-lined boxes in there somewhere. Quite the cursed locale; plenty hush-hushed incidents of violence, murder and even bombing are tied to it. If we are to presume that the HnH people are indeed tied to Christiansen’s employers, so to say, and she wasn’t a lone, particularly rotten case, I presume we’ll find a lot more exceptionally toxic things down there in the depths of the mine. Something to tip off the local Lupines about, if they bothered to show, and if they somehow couldn’t tell.
>>
>>98671893
>My hosts would be cross if we failed to recover their vaunted butler from that feathered-freak.
Not to be too dramatic, but we're also down a sibling! You know, the surgeon one, with all the creative blueprints we expressly told you to not show to the lupines too much.

Us not being boiled alive through a ritual suggests that he, and by that our line's vitae, is not held captive by anybody with potent blood magic, so he's either not held by the Tits, or if he is, the Tits really don't know blood magic too well. I've had the cards essentially tell me they're not fucking sure, when I asked where is he, which adds to the confusion. Cards aren't supposed to be unsure! They're, at worst, at rare times are capable of being wrong, or inaccurate, or refusing to answer, but lack of confidence is... It is not right.

The Lupines have apparently found faint trails of that mix of odd scents that accompanied him getting kidnapped, and the trails went in and out of the Otherworld erratically. No particular luck trying to track that down, but besides the occasional wannabe medic of theirs, they don't like Stitch a lot, so it could be that the ones that could maybe find him, using their freaky-deaky tricks, just don't want to risk it while the Otherworld's got giant spiders and whatever else crawling through it.

Which is another issue. Unless the spiders are a runaway area denial weapon, or something like that, they're very much not a toy of the Tits's, they're a threat to the Tits, if anything. And we have no clue about their origin point beyond 'maybe below', or why they started showing up now, besides 'there's a lot more activity and maybe something like that drew them here'. It's only a matter of time until they start eating the cops and the park rangers, and then we'll be in the real shitpit what with having to keep it quiet somehow.

We're irrevocably tied to this place, babycakes. There's no leaving after the obligations we've agreed to. I'm honestly not sure we'll even get to leave if we die.
Speaking of,
>sooner or later, you will fall

Everyone dies eventually! Out of familiarity, out of innate to Kindred refusal to accept change, or out of minor to moderate guilt, we've decided that we're fine with dying in effort to keep this place in proper order. Free of people like our Sire, or the NWO, which is frankly worse as a name than Tits, or that fucking, that Godzilla in a suit, I'm sure she'd want our Caern too, even if just to piss radioactive water all over it.

I do admire the attempt at giving us sound survival advice, even if it's like a year too late at this point.

Of course, dollface, anything for you! Five cards, for extra context.
>When our Schirchgün encounters a passage into the veil, would it be apparent or not?
Four of Wands - Reverse. Lacking foundation; self-doubt; inconfidence.
>In the Otherworld, will our beloved find things worthwhile?
Knight of Swords - Upright. Drive for knowledge; ambition; complex problems yield to you.
>Who will be there?
Page of Swords - Upright. Chance to learn new skills; vast power of learning; opportunity to gleam more.
>What finds its way in, must find a way out; what will be the trick for leaving unaided?
THE CHARIOT - UPRIGHT!!!. Willpower; determination; victory.
>All has a cost, except when it doesn't, yet it usually does; what will our sibling miss, as a cost of going into the Otherworld?
Four of Wands - Reverse. Bad question, maybe?
A shuffle and another question. The cards will permit six, if the previous one counted - if anything, they like divisible numbers better, it's just hard to stop if I go for a divisible number.
>Out there beyond the veil, there dwell things. Good things, clearly, but not so good things, too. Will any appear before our Schirchgün?
The Hierophant - Reverse. Meaningless, yet mandatory rules; inflexibility and firmness; prudence and hypocricy.

My oh my. So, if Iiiii had to guess, the passage IN would be a difficult and unclear thing; once there, you will find out great things, and perhaps encounter a source of knowledge; shades, sages, maybe my brain parasite? Maybe lonely wanderers? Ooh, maybe that fucking reptile? It's grouchy and didn't show in the last while, but it's also got a thinkpan full of secrets.

The way back from the veil would be a matter of your sheer, unyielding power of self; the costs of it all are unclear, or perhaps a loss of confidence, and one thing I am confident about is, you'll probably meet something borne of the Tits and their stupid lamps, given what the last card tells us. Or maybe a talkative, bigger spider?
>>
>>98673969
>You and yours clearly inherited a certain... Certainty
I mean, I know things for a fact; I even know that the whole three-division thingy seems to convey something real, at least, real enough. They seem to have a good bead on things, and if HOT believes 'em, clearly they're actually not wrong, but, like, their methods buried a whole bunch of their family under our lawn, you know? "For old times' sake" I dragged an initially reluctant Marco into a private performance just for him. Like the Japanese salaryman who works hard and parties harder, he became a completely different person, a slip of the mask. Enter our unrecognizable Renaissance-era Elder waving lightsticks and chanting: "FUWA FUWA FUWA FUWA!!!"

Two encores later, once more, "for old times' sake" I knelt, reached for his belt, and unbuckled it, but he stopped me. I asked: "Are you not entertained?" He snapped his fingers next to my ear and whispered: "Do you remember who you are?" His pupils grew and grew, as to wholly replace his brown irises, a stare so intense I could feel it with my entire body, mind, soul.

Then my body stood up and froze. It recited: "I am a shadow cast by no object. A copy without an original. For the sake of my mission I will strike the guilty and innocent alike without hesitation, mercy, or remorse. I am a daughter of the Dark Father who knows neither modesty nor shame. I am Rakka, fallen blossom of the Drowned Sun. A kunoichi."

He dropped to his knees, wrapped his arms around me, squeezed me tight and said: "No, girl, you are my Childe..." He behaved as to console this Childe, for to me, he was the one who needed consolation.

We are permanent, forever. Our circumstances are not. We're uniquely equipped to wade through the bitter water on the way to the sweet. If you and Marco play smart, there's no reason you'll never see each other again, troublesome as the caveat of playing smart will be.

There's a secret trick to being bad. When you've been a naughty, wicked little strumpet, you're never going to convince suspicious authority figures you're a good girl, pure as the driven snow, who dindu nuffin. But you might just be able to get them to believe you were
ONLY a naughty strumpet.

So I hoped my aura looked nervous enough (but not too nervous) as I marched resolutely into Elysium to see the Prince.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I don't think I had underground vampire sex club on my bingo card. Especially not in a midwest town run by a Lasombra. After seeing just a few of the attendees I felt overdressed in jeans and a leather jacket. I might have been wearing too much even in my usual outfit; more than a few were only wearing body paint meant to glow in the black light.

I got escorted to the VIP area and immediately got triple mood whiplash so severe I thought I might go torpid from a broken neck.

The first was the Prince himself. Sitting in a high backed throne he had one leg tossed over an armrest. He was jeans, cowboy boots, spurs, chaps, a flannel shirt, leather vest, and a 10 gallon hat. Oh, and he had an honest to God Colt SAA in a holster on his front right hip. Which would not have been that odd, were the room not lit up strobes, black light, the moans of vampires having sex, and Marilyn Manson's cover of Sweet Dreams.

Then this what the fuckcake got a nice layer of icing when I realized Julian was standing just to the left of the throne.

And just to put sprinkles on. Frank was off to left and behind the throne. He was going hard with his poker face, Jullian looked smug and just pinch sleazy, and the Prince looked like Hirano Kouta was making sure his mood lighting was just right.

Alright, Lita. Showtime.

Respect guns, blades, claws, fists... Do not panic like a kine does when a weapon is pointed at you, but don't underestimate it either. You just have better chance at surviving an encounter with armed people than you did before. As for having to respect one that pulls a gun on you, that's a whole other story. For the record, to honor the Masquerade, you're supposed to act like an actual kine that was shot, i.e. not run away or jump on rooftops, in many situations where there could be witnesses, including the shooter.

I could see it working for a "Count to Ten and Die" music video. Or the Love Song.
>>
>>98684681
Count to Six and Die would be an out of costume affair with one camera and nothing in the background, it'd feature manson and the band playing russian roulette/spin the bottle with a pistol. B/W, no colors, lots of uncomfortable close ups when to the pistol that mask "this is the part where we removed the bullet(s)", very minimalist to go with the uncomfortable quiet of the song itself.
The getup would go great with The Love Song, tho. Holywood in general.

I've been in the Camarilla for a while now. The opportunities for a diablerist ex-sabbat here are few and far between. Especially in positions that befit my clan. The only bottom position we can accept are in the depths of the sea, being In Charge is as driving of an urge as is drinking blood.
But. Leadership is a position of trust. And as your impolite headmate says, no one can trust me, because I'm a former sabbat, diablerist, kinslayer, turncoat. And with what's watching through my eyes, I can't entirely trust myself either.
So, for the most part, I've been playing the Voyeur. There is an opportunity somewhere in these demeaning circumstances, and when I see I will seize it.
>>
>>98685126

Jealousy brings out the worst in even the most reasonable "kindred", it must wound her ego to compare her own countryside holdings to the glories the Iberian penensula or of Rome at it's peak.

I think I relayed some of the story of my sojourn, with my sister and her end. To put it simply, we learned the Truth and refused to labor for our fraudalent sect. We did try at first, to spread the word through our respective packs, that Lasobra lives. However our sire slaughtered them for blasphemy. He then turned his wrath on us. We killed him. This was in the early 2000s, at the time there was a deal between clan Lasombra and the Camarilla of Chicago, to join the Camarilla you must bring us your elder's heads. And there we were, with our dead sire, by any sensible metric, our Elder. Though, I can't be sure it was my sister's proposal and not the diablerized sire, given later nights. As for the Sabbat, well the nice thing about a mass schism and exodus, is that it's very hard to keep track of who left and who didn't and who's even alive to wreak terrible revenge upon.

Oh, thank God you're fine! I was worried that the police raid near the airport was perhaps somebody stumbling on you and your cargo. Given the local history, maybe it was those ecoterrorists? The airport seems to work fine, at least, and nothing was on the news…

But yes, onto business! We must work with haste. The helicopter I have in mind is being prepped for operations at the airport, in the corporate-owned chunk of the territory. The plan I've proposed, and one Victoria vaguely shrugged at so it's got two votes at least, is fairly simple in overall conceptualization, but there will be considerable quantities of moving parts. Your part is to convene with Victoria, she's on the way to that hideout we've sent you the address of, with a box of duct tape. As for how we will be leaving with the helicopter, once you two get the drone distraction going, the answer is, of course, Obfuscate! It, however, is a mental trick, not a physical one, and it's got a range.

So, to sneak off successfully we'll need to disable the radar tower. That will be up to wise Mèo-Mèo and our valiant OldBlood, once you and Victoria make the distraction. Meanwhile, me and brave H0T will secure the helicopter itself. I absolutely do not trust the airport to not have some sort of hidden, particularly nasty guards, what with Christiansen using it at least once, and there’d be technicians and other personnel to try and handle; were it deserted, I’d assist with the radar tower, but the airport’s got night shifts, especially in the hangar housing our aerial beast. Perhaps we’d be able to seize the helicopter quick enough to help with the tower, who knows.

Try to not actually hit anything with the fireworks, by the way, stealing the helicopter will be a problem enough for local authorities to look at, but if we damage something precious, they'll be under thrice the pressure to pursue us.

Tabarin’s Very Bad No Good Days

Well, what can I say. It’s been a week (or closer to two or Three). The war in El Paso is going well. Chavez was lazy, unprepared. I’d estimate that greater then 90% of his forces have been vanquished. Every safe we crack open is full of gold and deeds and jewels. What remains are hardened cadre of defenders, some hard asses trying to prove their mettle to the Sabbat leadership and a handful of elders. Once you get a look at a few of them, they get easy to tell apart. The Defenders avoid us as much as possibel, we avoid the eldars as much as possible and the Hard Asses and our aspiring Hard asses are duelign in the middle of the El Paso streets. I had to get a media specialist. Some Ventrue, just to handle our cover ups. We have the police and the local gangs under thumb. The cartel are still trying south of the boarder but they don’t know they’re already beat. Just need the time to handle them later.

Let’s Start. Monday, one of our light companies came back. Should have known something was up, they had a lost platoon. We did our ordinary recovery process, but only found a few survivors. I was inspecting them later when they detonated. Someone had shoved ballbearings and c4 up their ass, then dominated. Crude but effective, damn near took one of the companies out of commission. I was in the blast but survived relatively unscathed. My outfit, not so much. Had to feed afterwards, they finally convinced me that my staff suggestions of body armor were not completely unneeded.
>>
>>98690081
Tuesday, having survived the C4 it was a few days before the Javelin thrower. I know, it sound silly. But the Javelin, how do I say it. Old oaken haft, iron neck and point. Both carved in runes that I didn’t recognize. Whoever was doing the throwing was damn well doing it from a mile away and in the skyline of El Paso. Took days, each time we think we had the Javelin contained there would be the strange whistling of a Javelin travelling way to fast thru the air, thrown with some unholy combination of Auspex, Potence and Celerity. And we’d look and sure enough the magic javelin was gone, except it was sticking out of me now. After the first two or three attempts cracked my skin but not much more, he started throwing just at anyone nearby. Took us five days to pin point the throw sites, another two to put enough troops until the Thrower decided to piss off. To date, this is the most effective one vampire has been at stopping me. Annoying.

Wednesday night was straightforward at least. Obfuscation, Shotguns. Half a dozen Nosferatu. I still don’t know if it was Anti-Tribu or if the Nossies decided to try to check me on my shit. They opened fire with dragons-breath and I just watched. The Rotschreck held me. I only had nearby about two dozen brothers, I would love to say that they easily killed the offending Nosferatu. More then a dozen dead gGangrel, two dead Nossies, The rest fled, until I brought myself to move. To will the the stone that is my body to action. The Nosferatu leader had approached, he was smiling. Then he fired. The Dragons-breath blackening my skin, cracking it. Boiling the tar within. BOOM BOOM BOOM, more fire surrounded me. And I was free. I was at his Throat before he knew he had lost. BOOM BOOM, his clanmates shot into him, turning him to ash as I Feasted. Boom, the howls of my breathern. My parliament arrived, Drawn by my fleeing brothers. Boom the fire and smoke filled the room as I closed, and then they just disappeared again.
>>
>>98690085
My Auspex could not find them. Three dead Nosferatu, Three escaped. More then a dozen dead brothers. I am offering an easy 100 grand to whoever can name those Nossies to me. I am offering a quarter million to whoever delivers any one of those three to me alive, an easy one milly to whoever can deliver me all three.

Anyone, if you want a Million Dollars. Find me those Nosferatu. Deliver them to me, Meowmeow can attest, I pay in gold bullion. I will flay the bones out of their bodies and slurp the meat from underneath their skin while they watch and beg. I will pack their hearts with salt and lovingly sew them back in their chests. I look forward to our business.

This Thursday past, a Werewolf. I don’t know how they managed it. It was only one, and it never got close to me. It took on one of the Medium Companies, and while we were not prepared for it, we were more prepared then most. The losses were in the acceptable range.
>>
>>98690090
And then finally, for Friday. The darkness. I don’t know how, When I awoke I was sealed in Darkness. Every direction I was bound. Some Strange coffin I had thought, It was strong, even my Strength could not budge it, nor break it. But there was a Trick, I didn’t know it but there was a Trick. I sat in that Darkness I don’t know how long. And when you sit in the dark like that, the mind. Even the Kindred mind, plays tricks. There was sounds, I had thought Rats, and Slugs, and Spiders. But then I felt their hands, their human hands. Tiny kindred, touching me, as if to make sure I was real. I’m still not sure they were real. But they tugged and pulled and I managed to slip from my half bent over position, I slipped down, into a crawlway? I could not see, I could only feel the stone of the passage, It was so strange. It should have been death earth.

But it wasn’t. It was soft in my hands, like moss. And before long, I could feel little flowers? They were two or three inches high. The hands touched me along my arms and feet, as if to encourage me. To chide me not to stop. And then I heard, I don’t know what. In the Darkness, I heard her.
>>
>>98690093
Like meowmeow said, it seems a bit silly. When I grew up, if someone soothsayed you. You listened. >Keep a cross over your heart and a pentacle around your ankle.
I had thought the Lasombra had been mocking me, letting me keep my clothes, my accessories. Now I wonder, as I crawled in the Eternal Darkness, in the Flowers that can only grow there. I heard her voice. Well it was just her humming, a simple melody. I felt her take my hand and lead me. I don’t know how long I was in the Darkness. My officers say I was gone for three days, but I never returned to the embrace of death. Not once, and I remember walking for miles and hours and miles and hours.

I crawled out of some cave near to the North of El paso. The fight will continue, Chavez’s ass is grass and those witches missed. They are all going to burn, Chavez is going to greet the sun, one last time. And, I now greet the night. I guess, its passing now. When they first found me I was raving that she was still here, still following me. I still think I can feel her footprints, under the earth, under mine.

And that was my week(s). I just wanted to let everyone know. Those who oppose me will suffer. Those who help me will be rewarded. That is all.
>Thanks again Meowmeow.

I did a curtsy as best I could without a skirt and started to introduce myself to the Prince. I got about as far as my name when the he cut me off.

And who are the other three?

Jullian was right there so the order I answered was going to be important if I wanted to sneak the lie past them. I let my mind imagine a few wild things to get my Aura agitated, then spoke.

Sabbat. When I said that the Prince bolted upright, Frank's mouth fell open, and Julian started staring hard enough to bore a hole through my head. I quickly barreled on. Whatever the hell that is. I met them on the the road here. I know they wanted me to introduce them to you. And I know they didn't want anyone knowing they were quiting the Sabbat. What even is the Sabbat anyway?

Only then did I turn my head, looking around, and went uhhh...? Like I had only just realized I had stepped into a minefield. Since I was begging Cain for these assholes to fall for it in my head my Aura should have been drowning out my lies in my freak out. One bit of truth to start, and then going for the Yes, I AM guilty, just not as guilty as you think. Just like 4 eyes (another packmate of my Sire) taught me.

The next thing I knew, my chin was in the Prince's hand (a part of my brain made a note that despite being Lasombra he had a lot of celerity to move that fast, I literally couldn't see him move.) and I shuddered a bit, hoping he would think he was intimidating me, instead of the disgust and rage that made me want to break his fingers I was actually feeling.

I saw Julian start to open his mouth, but the Prince spoke first. Tugging my face to look him in the eyes. You're sure they said they were Sabbat? TELL ME THE TRUTH.

I heard that last sentence echo a bit...but I felt no urge to do so. I tried to look a little surprised as I answered. Yeah. I was coming back to the motel room after robbing a guy I fed from and I heard them talking.
>>
>>98690482
I scrunched up my face a bit like saying it out loud was embarrassing, like a part of me wanted to cry, as I started spilling way to many details about fucking some guy and stealing a bit of blood and his cash after he fell asleep post coitus. Probably helped I've had to resort to that shit a few times so I had more memories of such stories than I want. I saw Julian tilting his head at me. Probably realizing I was a bit more street smart than I had acted at our first meeting and wondering how he missed it. I had to keep the smug off my face at the proof I could lie to an aura reader. 4 eyes had been right, if you're not really an expert on people aura reading doesn't tell you as much as you believe it does. That's a weakness you can exploit.

Instead I talked a bit faster, trying to sound like I was babbling as fast as I could remember, about how the other three had been talking about how they needed me to vouch for them first because "no cammy Prince would buy a cold approach from three vampires wanting out of the Sabbat."

The Prince's narrowed as he considered what he just heard, but before he could finish thinking Julian pipped up. She's a lying little whore, my Prince! She STAKED me! Let's just kill her!

I let myself get angry then, I only staked you because you tried to Blood Bond me you asshole! It's a good thing I smelled your blood before I drank that shit! Did Frank just smile for a second?

Julian recovered quickly, though. His head jerked back and he blinked a few times before incredulously sputtering What are you talking about you, you psycho bitch?!

The Prince turned, just his head, and growled out, Shut up, Jules. Before he turned back to me.

Embrace? Um, Rump? I think you misread some part of my post, so I'll rewrite it in easier language and with more context in case you missed something.

Thanatology is the SCIENTIFIC study of death, not to be confused with Necromancy. Kine coroners and forensic doctors know this stuff too.

The letter is from a vampire of Main Clan Tzimisce, very likely to be an Elder because most Domains this side of Europe are under the control of Lasombra if Sabbat, or Ventrue or Toreador if Cammy, so Tzimisce here tend to be old and aloof - the usual 'Autarkis in denial.'

She wants to send her childer over to me for their education, and offers to make me a new body as payment. I'm not sure if these Cainites are on the Path of Death and the Soul or the Path of Metamorphosis, or a third Path of Enlightenment told in DE BESTIA CATENATA.

The voices in my head think I should accept the invitation by that Ventrue Antitribu Ductus who asked me in DMs to formally join the Sabbat, and spend my unlife in an ex-church, destined to become a "fortress, shelter, command centre and temple of the Sword of Caine."

Zoryana suggests reaching out to a Bishop, or higher 'Cainite of the cloth', and to use my arrival to this new haven not simply for an initiation into the cult, but also to stage a larger set of Ritae, including an open class on thanatology, extending the invitation to said Tzimisce Elder and many more Cainites. A bigger event and party.

I am not very excited at having my body manhandled by said Tzimisce Elder, but Lianhua thinks that, rather than refuse, it would be wiser for me to present myself as an eager novice of Vicissitude, and also the kind that would prefer to "transform herself" rather than have others do it for her.

You little shit. Is it you I have to blame for all the refugees and lost scouts from out west??? You have sent idea how many of mine own clan and others we’ve had to smuggle or find emergency housing gor here in San Antonio?! Fuck you! Status Quo is what it is FOR A DAMN REASON.

My sire has to be fucking with me. She told me she's seriously considering embracing our very most annoying customer.

She's gotta be fucking with me...right?
>>

Oh, so the Lasombra can follow the Masquerade when put to the lash? Interesting. In other news it appears the more mystic side of Chavez's supporters have ahh vanished into the shadows. A week now, maybe more and El Paso will be mine. Then the looting can truely begin. And I guess another set of Festivals. Soldiers have to eat and be paid. That's the first rule of raising an army.

Apparently a quarter of the country's Sabbat ecclesiarchy is currently verifying whether I have already received a valid Ritus of initiation into the Sword of Caine, and if no one issued its revocation. Phone calls, archives, messengers, searching for answers abroad, and so on. As much as I can respect this dedication to tradition, one that doesn't allow for one Cainite to be initiated twice, I still find this odd and amusing...
>>
>>98698400
Listen here you little shit. I’m older than 75% of the sabbats legions by several centuries. I’ve been working in actual fucking shadows since the end of Hispania as a fucking province. I was one of my clan’s first leaders in the sabbat and seeing how it’s become an excuse to simply murder all the kine instead of lead them as our natural position behooves us against the threat that IS the antediluvians led me to take a siginificant portion of us out of Mexico and the border states and join the Cammies since they actually want to tend our flocks as we should. You have no idea the world of pain you’re in for kiddo. Your dead meat, su loco puta.

-Diego de la Sancha Panza Rivera Rodriguez de la Vera Cruz Martinez
>>
>>98701203
Finally. Glad someone else gets it. Just a shame you jumped ship to Cammy Cocksucker Cuckolds instead of straightening out the Sabbat.
>>
>>98701233
Respect to you, hijita of Caine, for you try and achieve the impossible. In my locale, we reached the critical threshold of too many “shovelheads” or “murderhobos” as I’ve heard the youth call them. At that point it just becomes like the Aztecs when I first arrived here under Cortes, but significantly less flair and heirarchy. Every good shepherd knows you kill and cull the weak and sick and only harvest what is needed as needed. Honestly I think if the sabbat just recruited more people of the land, salt of the earth types, rural farm folk, a lot of these issues would be abated and yall would see progress.

Besides, I had a good prince until these past few years. A “sane” malkavian, if ever there was one. Twas only until he was killed by a damn lucky hunter that we got our princljng from the unbearable “clan of kings”. Honestly if it weren’t for their “dignitas” and their need to uphold their superiority, I wouldn’t mind working with them more. This guy though, a 10th generation fledgling, “reassigned” to here after his last domain’s council of primogen more or less declared a blood hunt on him for giving quarter to a known sabbat bishop. He said the guy was trustworthy. His sheriff, harpies, and two elysia were firebombed in sabbat attacks. I’ve been dealing with his incompetence for a half decade more and am slowly winning the others over to deal with him. Having the sheriff as a friend helps immensely. Fortune to you hijita of Caine. Should we ever meet, may it not be in battle, for kindred need more like us.

I'm in boys. It's happening.

The Creation Rite did happen and is still valid. The Cardinal had to call his counterpart in another continent. Yes, Spider Lily's shinobi are a Sabbat pack, the Drowned Sun, and Tsuizen was the officiating Pack Priest. Aaaand they forbid me from talking about them any further. I don't blame them.

This is no longer just about me, or this pack, it's way bigger. The Cardinal wants to oversee the inauguration of the new temple, to get that one city back (don't worry Tabby, it's not yours, pat pat) and "the Ritae not to be fucked up", in his own sternly written, emailed words. He sounded incredibly pissed.

At long last, my Sire Marco gave me a kiss. Ouch. Then a pile of scrolls and this drawing before I left Venice.

"Hina", huh...

Will I ever see Marco and this fetid city ever again, I wonder?
>>
Hey, Neonate here. Everyone says I’ve gotta leave my old life behind but what’s stopping me from just making my wife a ghoul? We’ve been happily married for 15 years and I drink her blood anyway. Will the blood bond even be noticeable?
>>
>>98701787
I tried that once. It was in the early medieval, before the death of our antediluvian and the sabbat starting. There was more understanding of gender roles, so me only getting home at dark was no issue. Juanita was her name. Hair as dark as whitby jet and eyes as blue as the skies. A long descended daughter of the visigoths, she must’ve been. Made a fantastic jamon iberico. Eventually I revealed our masquerade or the dance as we called it in those times. She accepted me regardless. Never had chosen of course, but that was fine with her. Most of her family had issues with birth anyways, her mom dying shortly after her younger brother was born due to hemorrhaging. Eventually some rivals in my clan learned of her and she was embraced and turned wassail. As inhuman as I’ve been at times, nothing is as hard as having to hunt down one who loved you above all and you reciprocating that feeling. Do not do this young one. She will either be used against you, or you may discover horror beyond what the mind is willing to bare should you fall to La Bestia during a kiss. And should you embrace her, what’s to say she doesn’t try to consume you in hunger upon awakening to her nights. It’s a lose-lose situation. Vaya con Diós hijito.

You have been kidnapped by a mysterious organization calling itself “The Order”.
You were an experienced supernatural, or even a human, who has been taken from what you would consider normalcy. You have been living your life in the world of darkness for quite some time, but now you have been beaten, captured, and marked with the alchemical symbol of the sun. You are now being forced to go on assignments under the watchful eye of a mysterious group of arch-mages, referred to by other mercenaries as the archons, and forced to live in a labyrinth of dimensions referred to as citadels. The Order's goals seem rather esoteric and strange. Assignments seem to consist of a mix of hit jobs, snatch and grabs, and time crises, with mysterious magical tokens as the reward. However, every time you ask the “why” for these missions, you get told it’s all to maintain the status quo so that the archons’ ideal world will be realized. Whatever that means.

I wasn't tricked either!
The "me before my memories were erased" was already part of the Sabbat. The villainess Spider Lily kept a pack of shinobi around in secret to act as her agents, but also as a plan B in case the main clan Giovanni were to wage war on the rest of Clan Hecata, she would escape with them and seek refuge in the Sabbat where Harbingers and other Necromancers were before the Family Reunion, which she endorsed.

Spider Lily chose me for the experiment that grafted what's left of Zoryana and Lianhua into me because "I didn't exist" save for some almost inaccessible archive of the Sword of Caine.
>which Sabbat will it be?
Given who invited me, if I don't get immediately thrown into the ranks of the Inquisition - way too soon for that, isn't it? - then whichever part of the Sabbat is nearest to it, and to the older Cainites attending and overseeing the Ritae, I think.

*ahem* ENGLISH, MOTHERFUCKER, DO YOU SPEAK IT!?

So anyway, the Cardinal said we had to wear our best clothes tonight and pic related was my best attempt.

The Tzimisce Elder was the first on the scene, she had huuuuge bat wings and she wrapped my body immediately and inspected every nook and cranny of me, she knew Vicissitude was already used on it.

The first fight of the night was a friendly sparring session without weapons or disciplines between the inviting pack, the five Crimson Host of the Empty Throne vs us, the four shinobi of the Drowned Sun, a series of 1v1 fights (the former pack's "mystic" didn't participate to make it fair).

Our Ductus Kuyou, while victorious, was a good sportsman and acknowledged the Host's raw ferocity and formless aggression, breaking our disciplined patterns and tempos... but I couldn't see any of that! Because I was wrestling Callaina, the Follower of CAINE, a clash of snake versus octopus!

The Cardinal had this large dark cloud-thing to protect the Rites from unwanted external observers.

I found the Fire Dance pretty unexciting, I took off my clothes for obvious reasons, Koldunism made me unafraid of the bonfire. The same can't be said for a couple of hotheaded younglings, and that was the second fight, they both lost and ended as test subjects in my thanatology class.

During my class, the Tzimisce students were invited to use Vicissitude to simulate the temporal stages of a corpse's decomposition: discoloration, rigidity, swelling, and so on according to my instructions and some illustrated books I had...

I guess you can say I am doing an experiment. When his last stronghold fell, when his last defenders were slaughtered. He ran and hid.

So I simply turned the dial on him. Grandly enough, I have every account, every password, every black book, every falisifed record. It's all mine.

I guess my experiment, now that his defenders are dead and his Abyss Mystics seem to have abandoned him, is this. While his Clan the Lasombra have great captivity of Shadows and other WItchery. Can there truely be a Shadow in total darkness? I have had the safe where he is locked in, I have had it moved. I have had it encased, I have had it buried. I'll spare you the details.

Everything that this so called titan of the Sabbat has is mine. What's left is reduced to five little numbers. 0.0000

Hahaha, what a mighty beast we’ve stolen! Vast and loud, twin engines howling thunderously, it’s something I truly have to try to hide. Even given the internal fuel tanks, the cargo hold is vast enough to hold us, a large off-road truck of sorts, spare fuel and other supplies, and, frankly, could hold another serving of all of that! With a thing like this, once we find the forest, we could offer to relocate it to another continent, nearly. And to think of what sort of armaments we could’ve installed, had we the time, tools and funds..

That said, we’ll probably have to sell this thing if we do not wreck it or lose it, and if there’s any interested customers here, be sure to say so! Given the fuel capacity, we could probably fly it over to nearly any American state with a few pit stops. I am frankly speaking unsure who, in this day and age, could afford to maintain an airfleet with one of those in it, but, hey, why not cast the net out.
Now, onto the acquisition!

>[Taiga Trawling - Update 5!]
>The operation had three major elements.
>Element one; distraction courtesy of our charming and vicious Victoria, and our bold and affable Che.
>Element two; creation of opportunity courtesy of our wise and merciful Mèo-Mèo, and our ever-adaptive and valiant OldBlood.
>Element three; utilization of opportunity, courtesy of our heroic and laconic H0T, and me.
>And element four when we pick everybody up and run away but, you know, that’s kind of secondary, and things really work better when ordered in threes.
>I believe it would be proper to let my companions detail their parts of our helicopter heist, if they wish to do so to any degree, whether OldBlood’s laconic summary or my sort of rambling nonsense. While this is somewhat out of chronological order, it is against my clan’s passed-down mindset to hog the spotlight, plus, more practically, I was mostly an outside observer to the elements one and two.

That isn't the beast, by the way, it's just a location photo. Plain planes are less convenient than helicopters, anyhow.

>Getting to the correct hangar was not very difficult. Yellowknife has a respectably-sized airport, for such a small city, but it’s still rather small and has windows in its operation. It’s also fundamentally a very deserted runway area with occasional landing and taking-off planes and helicopters, if any, and some hangars and an airport building, and the night was dark.
>Plus, I am a Nosferatu, and for all of Victoria’s rightful criticisms, I am fairly old and have spent my time honing Obfuscation.
>So me and my mute leader moved in the dark, oh-so-quiet and oh-so-invisible, making sure to tread lightly still, in case of supernatural observers. Quite the bit of stealth!
>It even worked for a bit, up until one of the closer, less important hangars had a spotlight turn on suddenly. A large thing - frankly, you could imagine it being used to blind incoming air traffic. Terribly irresponsible to operate such a thing, and to shine it along the empty, flat grounds near the fairly non-threatening-looking fence surrounding the entire airport.
>Far from us, as we were on the grounds themselves, but unpleasant, especially as it seemed to follow our trail!
>Solid five minutes of walking behind, but still.
>With the spotlight in the field, we moved quickly, striding through the uncut grass.
>Rich, tall grass. It had the most faint scent of vitae to it; a faintest, tiniest whiff I’ve come to realize lingers in the air this north, but only barely.
>By comparison, the dull, dreary and square hangar was a welcome, concrete reprieve.
>We found a side entrance, with some violence disabled a mid-smoke-break guard (which I would feel bad about, but he had the aura of a killer to him, so I am only moderately displeased, really) and snuck in with his keycard.
>The inside was a hangar alive with work.
>>
>>98714072
>Excessive light, a couple dozen air techs, and one major project: maintenance of the soon-to-be-ours beast of a bird.
>Other, lesser craft were carefully pushed to the sides to give the most space to this one. From all sights, especially the air techs reattaching some paneling, but primarily the sheer quantities of grease, spare parts and tools, they must’ve been marathoning an overhaul of the thing and were mostly done.
>But there were oddities to the scene. A complete lack of chatter, for one; no thick scent of coffee, spilled energy drinks or poorly-warmed-up, questionably-digestible food; the hangar was alive with work, but alive much the same way a plastic plant appears to be alive and does part of the job of a potted plant.
>Exceptionally unnerving, immediately obviously inherently wrong, and it immediately sabotaged most of our plans for acquiring the helicopter.
>They revolved around baiting the repair techs out with the planned distraction, or, if that fails, causing a power outage, and then dismantling them one by one to minimize anybody seeing me or my canine companion. Quick, efficient, functional, and compatible with how air techs normally are in the middle of a night during high-intensity overtime. Except these were obviously abnormal.
>Their aura had a putrid stench to it, but lesser, not at all like the radiant and absurd glare of Christiansen. The sensory equivalent of, perhaps, a rusty, dirty nail embedded in a man’s foot until the injury festers, rots, and gives him tetanus, his arms tensed tight and his jaw crushing his teeth.
>We did not get to stare at the air techs or our quarry for long. I tried to suggest to H0T a plan of action, something relating to cutting the power and then leaving a false trail to make the air techs, who’d presumably suspect foul play, follow nobody into nowhere. Around the middle of my pantomime attempt at explaining it, fifteen ceiling spotlights shined right at us.
>While we were invisible.
>>
>>98714102
>Now, let me stress - Obfuscate is a beautiful art, but as any sufficiently whiny Noserfatu will inform you, even it has its limits. I shan’t disclose my own, of course, though there are no doubt samples you all have heard of - issues with time, with light, with movement, with sound, with scent. Case-by-case kind of thing, really.
>But to be unseen and unheard within a hangar with a mere couple dozen sleep-deprived observers? Even a large hangar with bright light and some cameras? Entirely possible even for a novice, no matter their exact limits! Cameras tend to be problematic for most, but we were not being observed by any, we were in a safe nook of sorts. And I know how to combat cameras, so even an unseen one wouldn’t be an issue. Yet the spotlights glared at our vague location regardless.
>I was about to suggest that we leave and re-enter differently when fireworks started to go off in the distance, their sound traveling far and from many places at once, courtesy of the drones flying all over the place. Our distraction was afoot. But to the airmen, it was as if an alert.
>And same was the horrendous screech of a salvage gantry of sorts, whirring to life as it swung a half-assembled chopper at us!
>We fled into the depths of the hangar, evading the helicopter that crashed against some shelves.
>I kept us hidden as we darted through an ersatz tunnel made of parts and crates and shelves, with the spotlights following us. The rattle of the repair crews rushing to try and corner us, as if they could really do much with their wrenches and such, let us weave and dodge through the occasional opening in the quasi-tunnel.
>We could have, of course, slaughtered everybody there, as we're Kindred and the repairmen seemed to be fundamentally just unwell Kine, but that would be far too much heat drawn to us when we very much were intending to leave and be forgotten!
>Not that a stolen helicopter is low-heat, but it doesn’t match leaving two dozen bodies.
>>
>>98714119
>H0T, as usual, had me outmatched in combat wit. She led me to the crane control room, up a flight of stairs, all as we dodged the operator’s attempts to smack at us with the screeching and whirring gantry cranes, and as the air repair crew didn't bothet to radio in for help, instead pelting us with tools and spare parts.
>The door was, unfortunately, locked, but that really is not a major delay when you have a whole H0T with you! I did my best to break the rickety ladder off to delay the men chasing us with incoherent desire to kill, all as H0T tore into the door and broke it down.
>And nobody was there, the controls were moving on their own.
>I proposed that we just try to beat everybody to unconsciousness and leave behind vaguely-ecoterrorist statements on the walls, but H0T had a very different idea, scratching odd symbols and circles into the floor. Hard to do that in her canine appearance, but she's yet to let that deter her from much.
>I didn’t quite get the purpose, at the time, but I knew I could trust her to be up to something productive, so with her busy, I played bodyguard - holding off the repair crew, their eyes glassy, as they tried to get past my spot on the walkway.
>I have to admit, I’ve unederestimated them! That, and the gantry kept trying to kill me, wildly and blindly swinging at my still-Obfuscated self. I tried my best to not get my head caved in with a wrench, and dismantled the repairmen when I could, tossing a few from the walkway.
>Just as three of them managed to climb onto the walkway from the other side of it, their intent obviously to swarm us, I could hear it - the whirr of nearly twenty-three thousand horsepower coming alive.
>Briefly I panicked that they were stealing the bird to not let us steal it, but the hangar was still closed.
>And the engine kept getting louder and louder, the rotor blades spinning viciously fast, kicking up vast amounts of dirt, clouding the room, all as the sound grew and grew.
>>
>>98714147
>And I couldn’t see a crew inside.
>The repair techs seemed to put stopping that at a higher priority than killing us, outright just fleeing from the walkway and to the helicopter, which was still grounded but apparently locked; they banged on the entrances it had, trying to get in, all as it got louder, and louder.
>I realized, of course, what was going on. We were in a hangar-sized echo chamber. The sound reflected off of metal and concrete and the other helicopter frames, some of which were coming alive as well, engines spinning on their workbenches, tearing apart the precise maintenance equipment they were put in. The light flickered and shined bright, electronics fizzled awake, even dismantled pieces somehow powering on, speakers burning out as they blasted static.
>I rushed back in the crane operator room, made sure H0T’s ears were covered, and then covered my own (healing from ruptured eardrums is agonizing!). We watched as the infernal racket deafened, and then buckled, the air repairmen that, to their last, tried to get inside the helicopter.
>Soon the helicopter stopped, and after it in sequence so did the other suddenly-alive pieces of tech. The last to go was the gantry, that one just was violently swinging from left to right, no longer autonomously trying to murder us, until it finally ran out of juice.
>We, unfortunately, had no time for me to wonder at what was no doubt a miracle of spiritualism put on display here. Instead, I got the hangar to open, with H0T’s indispensable aid loaded some of the available cargo in - we ought not to pass up free supplies, after all.
>Once inside our new ride, I took a minute to figure out the controls, as they were, admittedly, a tad more complex than the last time I’ve been in something flying, and, before long, H0T was aboard and I taxi’d our new steel mount onto the tarmac.
>Quite the lightshow was going on there!

>The five-or-so flying toys Che brought, loaded with fireworks, were making sure not one unrelated piece of air traffic would be flying. I brought our monster into the (very, very low) air, all while using all of my knowledge of Obfuscate to keep it invisible and mostly unhearable. On the go I downed a blood pack, because, let me tell you, it gets draining, to put on this sort of Disciplineworks. We landed not far from the by-then defunct air tower, picked up OldBlood and Mèo-Mèo, then flew over to the far corner of the airfield, grabbed Victoria and Che who looked like the drone operation had some sort of hiccups, and, finally, were into the open air!
>Well, almost, we had to do a little round trip to grab our stuff from an out-of-town safehouse.
>But after that, open air!
>To make sure we weren't followed to our destination, we had to make a few zig-zags and to conceal our movement best we could, but I am fairly certain we're not being followed; and if we are, it's not by regular authorities, as no news of the whole incident have been made public yet.
>We’re just an hour or two of travel time away from the lake OldBlood pointed out. While rushing there is tempting, it feels exceptionally risky to move in without any recon work, especially with the forest fires out here, and given that there’s some signs of Lupine activity. Not much, but from the air, even in the night, you can see it - occasional odd clearings, the aura-glow of a particularly strange tree, the rare, rare wolf that doesn't flee at the sound of a massive helicopter flying by. That sort of thing.
>And, worst of all, the vividness of vegetation is getting more intense.
>It’s subtle, but I recall how this part of Canadian taiga looked back in the day, and it was definitely not this lively!
>The poison in the ground must either come from somewhere here, or we’re nearing a strong enough outlet of it that draws from a deeper, stronger source.
>We’ll find out soon, I am sure.

>I'm rebuilding cities, and you want me to think about the innocent?
I want "the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God", as the Declaration of Independence of 1776 put it, to put a stop to punishing innocence and rewarding sin. With the "Witches" being incrementally closer and closer to taking over the Camarilla from under the Ventrue's feet over the decades, is this not what you desire too? That witches, not their victims, should be the ones paying for what they've done? Do you rebuild cities only for the guilty to live in? Is there no place in there for the innocent?

Hey this thing has night vision cameras AND thermal cameras! Even some handheld thermal cameras in one of the crates we stole! Fuck yeah this'll come in handy tracking the fires and navigating through the smoke.

Hnnnnnnnnnnnng.

What a night. Death. Idiocy. Sibling has departed on the warpath eager to humble fools and seek the realm of spirits. Despite my complaints. Leaving me here nibbling grave dirt and dwelling further. Feeling as if I am losing my metaphorical little glass balls as I peer ever deeper into madness.

First, I will be very frustrated if we'll be expected to hide NOT ONE HELICOPTER BUT TWO
TWO
IN FUCKING WINNIPEG
I hate logistics. Dealing with the Ventrue who has taken up residence in our home has been... Unpleasant. But understandable as I sympathize with her. To a degree.

Secondly, that is all... Deeply disconcerting. As was revealed here, I am- In between minds on things. The Koldunism DOESNT HELP THAT but- bah. I despise the mundanity of it all. WYRM eat my soul! Dark Father pull my head from my shoulders! At least THAT wouldn't be boring.

Do be- Safe. Much as you can manage. If only for the fact one of the emergency plans I've concocted requires OldBlood constructing a meat hommunculus and another involves 9/11ing a helicopter at the r/atheism goons.

OH I SEE HOW IT IS! SO NOW THE FUCKING ACTUAL NUPTY WIZARD BULLSHIT GETS THE PASS BECAUSE A DRAGON JUMPED IN!

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT MY EXPERIENCE WITH FUCKING KOLDUNISM IS!? A LOAD OF QUERYING AND MENTAL TWISTING AND EXAMINATION AND EVENTUALLY DANCING AROUND A BLOOD SOAKED CIRCLE IN ONLY MY HAT WITH A DAGGER AND GETTING THAT POINTY CAPPED GOBLIN WOMAN BURSTING INTO MY ROOM TO TAKE PICTURES AND SCURRY OFF! FUCKING VVYTCH SHIT! OH! COOL! THANKS! I NOW TALK TO A POLTERGEIST STAG AND SAY NONSENSE BUT I GUESS WHEN A TZIMSCIE PULLS OFF THE MOST IDIOTIC RITUALS KNOWN TO CAINITES- THEY GET THE PASS NO THATS FINE!

OH WHEN THEY DO IT THEY GET THE FUCKING S CARD!? I CURSE YOU! WITH FANG DYSFUNCTION AND PORTENTS OF INCONVENIENT FORTUNES! MAY THE FUCKING MORLOCHS EAT YOUR TOES!

THAT ONE is- granted- one of the 'bad-time spite-driven' plans. The Technogooners are insufferable, a cloud of noxious gas that chokes out things and is very difficult to deal with conventionally, however driving the equivalent of a meat tank right through one of their little jumping sequences and having it explode WHEN they manage to deal with it by their own means, oooooooh IF it is needed it could be very painful for them.

BUT that is something I am holding off on. Currently we are playing a game of cat and mouse and pulling out the ancestral cuckening button on these fools would be IMMENSELY SATISFYING but would also give the game away.

>Handrew WK
Posh. It is of vital importance that you stake Grin at the nearest opportunity. Anyway
>>98716108
By burying José alive, you unintentionally subjected him to a very effective form of training for Otenebración or Místico Abisal. I can think of two ways Chavez could escape, and take it from someone who's woken up in closed space of absolute blackness, I know what I'm talking about.
One is via the fairly advanced discipline known as Shadow Step. Step into a Shadow, step out of one nearby.
I wouldn't put it past you to bury him deep enough to render that ineffectual, given your gloating and Ventrue urges to overcompensate when frightened.
Which leaves a very advanced, very powerful and very dangerous Abyssal Ritual, which I won't name because I have no interest in attracting the attention of those who can cast it. Effectively, it works much like Shadow Step except if done successfully the person casting will enter instead of a Shadow they will step into the Abyss, theoretically allowing them to step out anywhere they've been previously. It's possible for a Non-Mystic to enter, however there is the danger of getting lost and being driven mad as you wander.
Depending on how long ago you buried him, therd is very likely an Insane Bishop with a coterie of terrified Mystics summoning all manner of horrendous otherdimensional monstrosities all across your new Domain.
The Justicar will be cross.

EHHHH? With the way the Repairmen were behaving It sounds like there were three parties in there. You and Ms. Hot, the Repairmen and some third party with electronic control that runs circles around mine. I only just figured out how to "See" electronics and sort of remote operate them. Something that can do ALL that must be powerful, at least from the PoV of a Thinblood neet who can't..
Be careful you six. This week's been bad.

Sir,
I write on behalf of my Grandsire, who would like to inquire whether certain clever Revenant bloodlines, creations of our Glorious Clan, would count be considered unlawful witches according to the Praxis of Your Highness Prince La Fou, or allowed within your Domain.
Said ghouls practice and teach one another arts, which are variously called "petty", "folk", "hedge", or "linear magic", spelled without the letter 'K', and other such derogatories by arrogant Hermetics found within both Children of Caine and the mortal children of Seth.
While ghouls may learn the foundations of their masters' Gifts of Caine, these abilities are not Blood Sorcery or Disciplines of any kind, rather, they are arts that virtually any predisposed mortal with the right character and training could potentially learn.
As such, it is my Sire's opinion these would hardly be in violation of the Dark Father's Fifth Commandment: "Thou shalt not reveal yourselves as Gods to the Children of Seth.", when these crafts were always transmitted from mortal to mortal.
Briefly stated, said Revenants have been helping the Cainites of our Clan and the kine that served it alike with a handful of minor powers such healing, herbalism, divination, exorcism, and curses on our enemies.
I have the honor to be, Sir, Your Highness's humble and obedient servant,
Suzana.
