I want to buy this because it's cheap and Orks are cool, is it a good buy for a beginner?
Not really. It's a gimmick unit.
>>98648081>GW>cheapCheaply made, you mean.
>>98648081It's okay. One nice thing about it for beginners is that most of the gretchin are single or 2-piece models. However, some of the single piece ones are kind of poorly molded, which might prove frustrating when painting.
>>98648081It's a fun unit to paint. Large faces on small bodies. It's also a relatively low stakes unit (cheap in both money and game points) that no one really expects to be super well painted. So it's a good place to start exploring painting as a hobby.
>>98648116Relatively, one imagines.
>>98648081As a unit, it's not very good. The models look cool I guess.
>>98648116This
>>98648081They look fun
>>98648081They are good objective monkeys so including at least one squad makes sense.
They’re a fun kit to piss around with, because the Runtherd is a great model to kitbash, and the grots are so cheap and tacky that any kind of touch-up makes them better, and any kind of lazy sculpting attempts blend with the rest of the mini. Moreover, they’ve some spare grot heads that you can use on other mini’s, like my flash git in the back. And it’s cheap.Honestly, a fantastic choice of a buy imo.
>>98650340>>98648369I bought
>>98648942>Relatively, one imagines. No, they are quite literally cheaply made.
>>98651872Post your self sculpted 35mm historicals made from clay mixed with shit
>>98648081Damn, it's really small, I'm going to need my glasses for this.
