Do you homebrew a BattleTech style subsystem damage model for large races such as dragons and giants for your games? Could make some sense given that something that big would be difficult to kill.*

*Square cube law and all, so a naturally big race would need to be that tough to prevent injuries from falls.

I play GURPS, so I don't have to homebrew a subsystem damage model, because everyone and everything has something somewhat similar already.

Nice dragon.
In my shitbrew large characters get extra DR based on their size and can't get status effects from weapons that are smaller than 1 size category from their target size unless you make called shots.

Design is a strong word. I usually just make separate health bars for limbs and other parts of the body of a giant enemy. Depliting the bar results in loss of some moves and direct ir easier access to the final health bar.

No, because I play good games instead of bad ones.
