As the title says, are there any ttrpg takes on the pokemon series? It seems like it could be fun with the right group
>>98659422There's 2 or 3 /tg/ creations, but I would probably just run a game in a system similar to pokemon in scope and re-flavor it rather than run a fan system or play something official (which I doubt exists).
>>98659422Quite a few, though they tend to have a lot of crunch. Pokerole is probably the simplest, but ultimately all of the systems are trying to account for a pretty wide array of mons and moves. And obviously that only gets more complicated if you've got several players each with a team of mons. It can easily become an over-complicated mess.
This chart is probably wrong, but it goes to show there are quite a few.You could always also run a generic system.
>>98660304Nice chartI'm playing a couple games of PTR 1e at the moment via Foundry, fun system, and thankfully I have good groups for both games. It's also being updated every so often with bug fixes and better VTT integration which is nice.
