It depends on the complexity.
I've found it can handle numerous specific characters from text just fine. Even putting them in a specific location, all from text.
Where it falls apart is specific positioning of said characters. But if you just need them in "X general area" it should be fine.

I had an idea for an "Elvish" language that was all about trying to make it as graceful sounding as possible, where "good" things sound especially pleasant while "bad things" sound discordant. With GPT's assistance, I was able to make a full grammar with a thousand word lexicon in about fifteen hours of work. It failed horribly at trying to make a writing script, however.
