I'm looking for a table top group with a friend who is completely new to the TTRPG scene.We've tried a couple but they are full of nutcases that project their politics into the campaign at every turn, need their character to be an empowered version of themselves, and quote marvel or pop culture shit every 5 seconds.How do you find a group that is not like the above? You should do what we did back in the day, play with your immediate friends. If that means its just you and your buddy, awesome. Most satisfying campaign I ever ran was a 2 player l5r game, just me making up shit on the fly and my buddy choppin heads.
